Chris is the absolute BEST! I have used him many times with different projects and he always delivers. He is always prompt to call you back after setting an appointment, he shows up on time, and he gets the job done the right way - which is sometimes hard to find in Sheboygan. I highly recommended calling Chris first before any project. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. If you're looking for a quality painter that stands by their work -- keep looking! I would never, ever work with them in a million years. We had the misfortune to purchase a home that had been painted by Schoen's Painting and Decorating shortly before purchasing, and the exterior paint was already starting to badly peel on it. We called Schoen's in the beginning of April to see if there was any sort of warranty that still applied to us (the new homeowners). The owner, Chris, said the exterior paint was no longer under warranty, but he would fix it this summer at no cost if we would pay for the paint. We thought this was very gracious of him, and agreed to wait. Summer came and no contact from Chris at Schoen's. We contacted them again to find out when they would be able to come out to fix our peeling paint, and he said it would be a few weeks. Now today, September 30th, nearly 6 months after first contacting Schoen's, we reached out a third time to find out when they would be able to come out. This time, Chris said he would NOT come out unless we pay him $1000. Chris said he talked to his dad, Phil, who he purchased the business from, and the paint job was fixed once already by the previous owners. Despite promising us twice, and making us wait 6 months, he will not stand by his word. He was also incredibly rude and unprofessional on the phone, actually hanging up on me. He said there's nothing we can do about it because he never put it in writing. That may be true, but I can certainly let others know about his terrible customer service, lack of professionalism, and refusal to follow through on promises made. read more

No hidden language, no gotchas, just honest and transparent communication about the cost of the project. Not only was this an easy process, but he came in under the cost of the rest of the competition! When I provided him the day and time I needed him to complete the work, he was on time and stayed until 8pm to ensure I did not have to come back in the morning to let him in the property. Rey's professionalism, quality of work, and true focus on the customer experience will make me a customer and promoter of this business no doubt moving forward. THANKS REY!!

They did arrive in a hearse LLOL but that's just those guys - they are awesome!! :) My initial interaction with CertaPro was with Matt Gardner. Took him about 5 minutes to get the info he needed for the quote, and then we had a nice chat while he was working it up - hired them on the spot!! Maybe my job was too small or maybe they are too busy...who knows? So while I can't review their electrical service, (was always good in the past) the only thing I can review now is their lack of customer service. Unfortunate.
