Not too far from the touristy area of Sausalito but far enough to provide a secluded feel, super peaceful, views of the bay bridge, Treasure Island, and more prominently, Angel Island... just perfect on this warm spring day. Calm waters, a mix of smooth sand and pebbles along the shoreline, not much else here except a single bench near the staircase (but that's still quite perfect for laying out my beach mat, picnicking and relaxing). Might be the smallest beach I've ever visited, but then again when on the coast, I never really know where one beach ends and the next one starts.

This is also great for photographers. Pretty much the hills, grass, trails, rocks, and trails are amazing! This is also a great place for photographers. There are other places like those Battery ones and Hill 88, but my friend and I didn't really get a chance to go there since we pretty much missed the path and we didn't want to turn around. Honestly, it's really hot here and thank goodness that I bring water and snacks in case I'm thirsty or hungry. Most importantly, bring water! You'll need it if you're ever going to hike here. The trip is short in my opinion since I'm used to hiking for a long time. In the future, I am planning to come back here to revisit scenic spots that we missed. The hike might be longer since I enjoy hiking at regional parks.

It was overcast when we hiked, but I like it this way only because it was very cool and the exposure to the sun was limited. We saw so many unique historical sites also, which I did not expect. The route we took had a lot of elevation gain and I had to put on some gloves for rock scrambling, but there are so many easy trails also. We also crossed the Golden Gate Bridge also, which is a first for me! Please come and create your own adventure.

We were having a lazy Sunday morning watching TV and decided we should get outside for some fresh air. We didn't feel like walking a lot since the weather was warm, so we happily found 2 Adirondack chairs in the shade at the park. The views of the Bay were gorgeous and it was the perfect spot to read our books. There was plenty of space for neighboring groups to spread out, so we liked the chill, non touristy, and quiet environment. We are already planning to picnic there with a friend and her little one.

I was driving north to Russian River for Pliny Season and just happened to be at around that time. there are views and boats and sandy volleyball courts and water fountains for dogs - very nice. I talked with the kid brother about the unending mystery - a story involving our friend. It is a story revolving around red flags and suspicious events and no answers. There is a foul smell revolving around the whole story and the more one learns of the event the more questions one has. Our phone call ended in more confusion than when we started and when he hung up he sounded like he was going to do more phone calls and digging immediately after we hung up. I suspect he did as I got some call the next day from a person I hadn't heard from in 10 years. A great place to walk, or look at the bay or make a phone call I suppose.

love this beach, the surf, the whole vibe here.... it gets packed here and is dog friendly…read more.. parking is legit and right along the beach. bathrooms a plenty and tons of folks fishing along the shoreline ...if you surf like I do...stay mindful of not only the fishing lines which we saw a gentleman throw his line out and it snagged on a surfers leg making him bleed ... another thing , surfers if you come alone dont place the strap on your dominant foot ... the swells and oceancan be a bit more choppier and saw dude get taken out and broke his ankle poor guy anyways good spot but please be mindful no matter the beach
