Used the drop box to pay for day parking and explored the park some. Well maintained, plenty of space.

    Great trail running system here

Great little park pretty close to omaha. I use it for trail running and it's one of the better tracks around. It is a bit short but has two main trails 1 being the shorter and 2 being the longer both are pretty well marked and maintained.

I need to come back in the open season, came here today just to view the fall foliage..

Why is that large snapping turtle in the tiniest enclosure? I'd hoped after your remodel you'd upgrade his area. Super depressing.

A wonderful State Park along the valley of the Platte River that provides amazing views in the drive there.

One of the highlights is the new fully inclusive playground -- it's thoughtfully designed with ramps, wheelchair-accessible swings, and fun features for kids of all abilities, making it a great destination for families. Cyclists will appreciate the addition of air and tools for on-the-fly bike repairs, which makes stopping here even more convenient. I also love the recent trail improvements at 168th Street -- the updated sections make riding and walking around the park feel smoother and safer. Whether you're out for a spin, a stroll, or a family day, Lake Zorinsky is a must-visit outdoor escape in West Omaha!

I was on this side of town picking something up and had a little time to spare so I decided to pop…read moreover to the lake and see what the trail was all about. I spent about 10 minutes walking in one direction and then had to turn around to make my appointment but in that 20 minutes, I fell in love with this place. The trail itself is really lovely. You can tell that it is very well maintained and not overgrown next to the path. The small bridges for pedestrians to walk over along the path are a nice touch as well. So much of the trail is shaded and this was a particularly cool day which made me excited to come back in the fall and see the leaves change. I saw two deer while I was there both somewhat close to the path and completely visible, and I passed a handful of other people, enjoying the trail that day, including a handful of leashed dogs which are allowed on the trail. The trail is six or 7 miles long so definitely plan for a long day if you plan to do the whole Lake, but there are two loops that you can do in a shorter amount of time or you can do what I did and park at one of the parking lots do a small walk and then turn around and go back.

Plus multiple rock climbing walls, fresh food and snacks, drinks, an ice skating rink and more. It was my first time coming here and it did not disappoint. We love how cheap entry is and all the activities you can do. It's a great place to go to, especially during winter time. I'm looking forward to coming back here during spring and summer months when the water park is open. The pizza wasn't bad either! I'd totally order it again. No outside food or drinks are allowed here. There's plenty of parking outside.

My family enjoyed the disc golf, driving range, and nature center. The park was fully booked as it was Father's Day weekend, but it never felt crowded. I really enjoyed painting ceramics by the lake when it started raining and hiking the various trails. The cabin was clean and simple. I am rating four stars instead of five because there were a few things that could be easily improved. It was very hard to figure out what amenities were available in the cabin theough the web site, which made it kind of difficult to know what to bring with regards to cooking supplies and linens. I appreciated the cooking utensils, but I would have liked some form of skillet or griddle. We made do, but it was kind of oddfeying eggs in a pot. I was able to navigate the park without much trouble, but some of my family had a hard time finding the cabin, so maybe the signage could be more clear.
