We agreed the start date. I got a call from the office saying the weather would likely change, so they would do the job in one day, not two. At 6.30 am the crew arrived - pleasant and professional. They worked non-stop, and the job was done by 7.00 pm. Every piece of fabric, old shingle, nails, etc. were all picked up before they left. Greg came to do a site inspection. Then Dwayne came to do a site inspection, then the City inspector came - all A1. Our subdivision was hit with a major hail storm a bit ago. I am the President of an HOA that has 38 paired homes. Every roof was damaged. We vetted several roofing companies for our home owners before providing a recommendation to use Schroeder Roofing as one of the preferred vendors. Several adjusters did not think that the damage was significant. The adjuster for the other "half" of the roof disagreed. Schroeder Roofing spent considerable time assisting some of our homeowners to deal with their insurance companies. Schroeder Roofing replaced 30 of the 38 roofs and did a wonderful job! On Friday, July 30, 2021, a strong storm went through the Wellington area with winds, rain, and hail. I contacted Schroeder Roofing early Monday, August 2nd since that firm had roofed our house less than 3 years ago. Paperwork showed that there is a 5-year warranty. The Schroeder employee said that a project manager would be out likely by the next day to inspect the roof. Later that morning I called a competitor (Company C) who said they would come out the following day as well. Later that day, the Company C called and said they had a moment and could stop by shortly. Company C inspected the roof and determined that there was little if any damage from the hail. Company C also assessed and determined the likely place where water had entered the garage during this storm. Competitor C offered to repair the roof on the spot! I said "no" as I wanted Schroeder Roofing to warranty their work. Friday came and I still had not heard from Schroeder Roofing. I called them again and requested an appointment for the following Wednesday when I would be available. Schroeder Roofing did indeed show up the following Wednesday. To their credit, their project manager verified Company C's assessment that there is either no or minimal impact from the hailstorm on the shingles. However, Schroeder Roofing project manager could not find the likely place where the water entered the garage. The Schroeder Roofing project manager could not explain the water damage to the drywall on the garage ceiling. The explanation the project manager gave is that since he couldn't find the leak the water damage wasn't due to their roofing work (hmmm, convenient excuse). The Schroeder project manager said in effect to appease me they would send out somebody to seal down some shingles. But if the project manager couldn't find the leak, then how are they going to fix it? Why bother to do that? I informed the project manager that I would get back to him. Then on August 17 I get a call from Schroeder Roofing saying they want to schedule an inspection of my roof. Huh? On August 18, I contacted Schroeder Roofing and asked to speak to an owner. Nearly 2 weeks later and I haven't heard back. But without my approval, Schroeder Roofing came by and applied some sealant but not where the water was getting into the attic. If you made it this far through the review, let me summarize: 1. Schroeder Roofing is basically unresponsive. 2. The Schroeder Roofing project manager is either incompetent or likely worse. 3. The Schroeder Roofing "warranty" is worthless. 4. The Schroeder Roofing roofers don't do good work. Besides the leak, Company C also noticed that the underside of the ridge line in the attic only had a 2-inch cut out for venting on one side of the ridge line instead of both sides. read more

We had Schroeder Roofing replace our roof because of a hail storm in June of 2018. I do not recommend them to anyone looking to get their roof replaced. Why did I wait this long to write a review? Well, we decided to install a new wood burning stove in our kitchen. The company that came in to install the flue had to get up into the attic and and found that the decking near the existing fire box had a huge hole and it had simply been covered up with ice shield and metal roofing. Schroeder was supposed to have amended their terrible work, which they obviously did not. This was the tip of the iceberg for us when it came to Schroeder. Schroeder roofing is a terrible company and if you don't check their work you will never know what they don't do! We had told them when we called to have our roof replaced that we knew there was going to be rotted decking from water in places and were told we would have to pay for that. No problem. We knew we were going to take on the charge. The rotted decking that came up, they did not even replace. They simply placed the ice shield on top of the holes in the decking and placed the metal roofing over that. No decking was replaced at all and what they tore up because it was rotted, they just covered up. The foreman came to our residence and they had to strip all the roofing back and replace the decking (at least they knew better than to charge us for that at this point). They stood on our railing of our deck in order to work on part of the roof, they broke the railing. They decided on our awning over our front door that instead of using appropriate siding material to attached the roofing material, they would cut pieces of roofing material and attach that to the siding. The metal roofing material that was now screwed into the siding of our house bowed from the siding, could have easily allowed for water and rot. They did fix that. They left roofing nails, bits, metal debris every where. After they were "done" with the roof, it took another 4 days for them to come get the debris and materials used for the roof off of our property. We called the owner, like others, he never contacted us but had the project manager call us and the office manager. They probably are surprised it took so long for this review to come out, but after still finding items that should have been taken care of because of their negligence, I finally sat down and had to tell people what they may be getting themselves into. read more

I was told to go to Schroeders to pick up lawn fertilizer, yes they carry some of the best I was told! I pulled in and was offered a free hot dog & chips as I reached the door! It was noon and I was hungry so it was perfect! Once inside I was quickly greeted and assisted. My 2 bags of fertilizer were carried out to my truck & loaded for me. And the price was great! Easy to work with and very quick to respond. We had a deadline from our insurance company on when the roof had to be completed. We had tried one other company before Schroeder, and they couldn't get the job done in our time frame. Schroeder was on top of it, with a turn around time in 3 weeks. They were very easy to communicate with and provided lots of information upfront so we knew what to expect. The crew who did the work was great. They did fast work and cleaned up very well. Signed contract in June. Was very happy with them at that time. Travelled most of the summer and told them there was little opportunity to do my roof during that time. When I returned in September and asked to have the roof done they blew me off because I wanted sales person to come back again and make some changes to the contract and also double check on roof tile selection. Schroeder did two roof jobs, one was to install a drip edge on my gutter. They sent out a third party to do the gutter, Professional Gutter. Don't have a problem with this and the job was well done. The second job was more involved, replacing four skylights. Again job well done. He even came back and delivered the pole to work the skylight shade. The only minor complaint is they took a while to answer my emails, but it might be because they were busy. Don't hold it too much against them. read more

I found Schroeder Roofing to be careless, sloppy and rude to the customer. They damaged a roof and charged me to repair it even though they said it is their policy to pay for their own mistakes. They were prompt in getting back to me when they were incredibly busy with all the hail damage this fall (when some other companies didn't even bother to call me back at all). They sent Greg out, a very knowledgeable professional who explained the whole process to us, including working with our insurance company, etc. They got the roof done in a matter of a few weeks, even with all the other roofs they were working on. Greg even took the time out of his busy schedule to check a couple more roofs of properties I own in NoCo (found no damage on those - so you can count on his honesty). The only thing I could say against Schroeder is they could have cleaned up a little better after installing the roof - we are still finding pieces of shingles & a few nails here & there, but that might be expected with most large jobs like this. In 2011 we hired Schroeder Roofing to put a new roof on our house and we were happy with the workmanship. In 2018 a severe hailstorm came through and we were in need of a new roof and also gutters. I thought of Schroeder Roofing because of our positive experience with them in 2011 but had concerns because it had been over 7 years and there can be company changes in that amount of time. My new roof and gutters are now completed and I just have to say... I am extremely happy with my experience with Schroeder Roofing. I am so satisfied that I am taking the time to write a review. I actually think Schroeder Roofing is a much better company than even in 2011. The roofing crew came out first. The were hard working, kind, personable, cleaned up well and just did an outstanding, quality job. They started early in the morning and were cleaning up when the sun went down. We hired Schroeder Roofing of Loveland, Colorado to re-roof two mountain cabins. The job went poorly. Schedules changed because Schroeder sub-contracted the job to an untried- crew out of Texas, none of whom could speak English except the crew boss. Twice the sub-contracted crew failed to show up on the appointed day. The management of the company had no idea that the crew failed to show. We had to call the company and ask why the crew did not show up. On the third try a sub-contracted crew did show up late and had to finish the job in near darkness. Because this crew isnt the regular crew that Schroeder normally uses, we have little faith that the new roofs will last the fifty years that we paid for. read more
