Went to this place after I made a bagel run. People were very helpful. I have lived here for almost a year now and just found this place. I needed to get seeds for Broccoli. But I saw all the flowers coming in(earlier today) thr reminded me of mother. So I just had to get flowers to remind me of her. Ohhhh how I hated to water then as a young boy growing up and all those flowers. Now I can't get enough and wish I had more space for them. So this establishment has it all. I saw a High tree/small bush Trimmed up,that but full of beautiful red roses(see pics). They had some good deals. I like supporting local over other big box places. Not that there is anything wrong with fleet farm and getting 20% off with the season being in the middle of June. But this is a mom and pop shop with loyal people so I love to support them. People were so helpful and kind. Helped me get some of the heavier things into the vehicle. I will be going back again on pay day. There is just so much to take in(enjoy the pics). I ordered flowers to be delivered on Monday. They hadn't been delivered as of Wednesday, so I called Schroeder's and was told that the arrangement had not even been made yet. I was promised that it would be made and delivered that day. It's Thursday afternoon and has still not been delivered. I called the store and the man who answered was very rude, never apologized and said "it's a busy time of year." He then told me it had been delivered. When I told him it was not, I was told, "maybe you'll have better luck with another florist." I ended the call. He called back to say the arrangement was still sitting in their back room and has not been delivered. Despite not being delivered four days after it was supposed to be, they charged my account earlier in the week. Horrible customer service. Still no product, despite being charged for the arrangement and the delivery. read more

I ordered a "Spring Has Sprung" arrangement online on May 7th to be delivered the Thursday before Mother's Day May 9th. I chose this arrangement because of the cute vase and look. The arrangement was not delivered until May 15th and was not the arrangement that I had ordered. When I called to Schroeder's to inquire about this, Karen basically told me that they were catching up from deliveries that could not be delivered on Mother's Day. No apology, nothing. Everything digressed from there. I was not asking for a refund nor did I mention it, however, I think that an acknowledgement and apology would have been nice. I am assuming that this is their normal operating procedure. I guess that I should feel lucky that my mom eventually received her flowers. read more

I received last minute funeral info for a coworkers family member and needed a flower arrangement delivered to a funeral that same morning. I called a day in advance to order flowers for my mothers birthday today. I arrived today and was met with about 4 employees who looked up at me and kept about their business around a table. When one person came over, not only did they not know anything about my order, I was also treated as a bother. I decided to go pick out something different, being as no one was going to find my order.... The only yellow baskets I found were droopy, not great looking. Then when I checked out with something I had to settle on, I got the same amazing service I got when I went in.... Also.... there are no mandatory protocols in place for customers going in..... so wear a mask or don't! Social distance or don't! They don't seem to care. I was so disappointed and appalled at how this place is run. One last note.... I have asked 3 different people to recommend a flower place to me and all 3 have given me very similar stories before I even mentioned what happened to me. Apparently this isn't an isolated incident. I only wish I would have asked around first.... I'm hoping I can save the next person some grief. read more

Absolutely the best place to buy plants for the garden!! Their staff actually know about plants!! Barb is a walking encyclopedia of wonderful info about care and preferences of plants. Schroeder's had a much better price for delivery than any of the .com flower delivery services I encountered. I grew up in Green Bay, so I'm familiar with the business, but the 5-star worthy experience occurred after I had moved to Redwood City, CA. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother's place of work--they were to cheer her up after a death in the family, and it was important to me that they get to her. Schroeder's online prices were very reasonable, and the website made it very easy to complete the order. I submitted my request on a Monday night around 5pm Pacific time (meaning that it was already 7pm in Green Bay) and requested the the delivery be made the following day before 2pm. I made a note saying that I would understand if this was not possible and that Wednesday or Thursday would be amenable if necessary. The delivery occurred at 1pm on Tuesday--no problems at all. My mother was thrilled and the experience confirmed what I already knew--local is better. I had a much better experience with Schroeder's than I have ever had with a .com flower delivery service. I just wanted to send a little token to my brother in the hospital. After talking to Schroeder's, we decided on a little plant, and I requested a big bow. I was very happy with the reasonable price. They called the hospital several times until my brother was able to receive deliveries, and I am thankful they took care of that and delivered the plant as soon as possible. The plant turned out beautiful! It was just what I'd imagined and hoped to send my brother. He even sent a picture and said Thank You. The enclosure card was certainly beautiful and classy, too. I had placed an order on Flowershopping.com and was told I had guaranteed delivery for that day. They called me and informed me they couldn't but promised the next day. That day came and then told me 2 to 3 more days! Customer service was a joke! Desperate, I called a local florist to just try on my own. Schroeder's informed me they were done delivering for the day but made an exception due to my desperation with a dear friend in the hospital! Marge was awesome! This place has really gone down hill. Extremely rude staff, unwilling to help. I asked for help picking out flowers for an infant funeral and I was tossed a book and left in the corner. They have stuff for sale outside that's just broken and left in pieces all over and they're extremely overpriced. Well after 30 + years of using Schroeder's Flowers, today's experience with Brad the "Manager" and also the "Design manager" I was told by Brad. Well let me tell you that my patronage with Schroeder's has ENDED. As with Jessica. I too grew up in Green Bay, and over the years I have watched Schroeder's prices skyrocket up to around a minimum of nearly $50.00. per Spending most of my adult life in California, I find Schroeder's prices to be comparable to the prices in California. Even as a child I recall Schroeder's to be pricey. The customer service over the past 30 + years has been great until today. As they say "A picture is worth a thousand words", so I will let the photos speak. I have spent many years calling Schroeder's and ordering multiple bouquets for special occasions. Well yesterday something came to mind that I have never thought about. When I or anyone sends a bouquet of flowers to someone, WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ACTUALLY look like unless someone takes a picture and sends it to us. Now who does that? Well my sister does and did. My sister was recently hospitalized at St. Vincent's for a procedure, and as per my normal routine I called Schroeder's and ordered one of my favorite arrangements that I have sent many times and actually never saw the true arrangement other than what I see online, until last night when my sister thanked me with a text and a picture. Well let me tell you, as I used to say in Green Bay, "HOLY COW", what a shock. Again, the picture will tell you what I am talking about. THE PICTURE: 1st pic is the service recovery bouquet that I was told by Brad was to look like the third pic in the group, the "Premium Cotton Candy" arrangement, which is from their website. So over the years they have gone from having the price for the "AS SHOWN", THE DELUXE, and the PREMIUM. Well I have purchased all three several times just this year alone. Nearly a $20.00 difference from the As Shown, and the Premium. Ok, enough about all that. Again, the picture, 1st is the final sent today that was to look like the third pic from their website, and the 2nd or the middle pic was the original arrangement sent out yesterday. Well once I saw the picture last night, I email Schroeder's and received a prompt and what I thought was great service recovery from Brad, Now I am going to use some quotes to get my point across here. My original email used words like a "Big Difference" In Brad's first email he said, "My apologies for the arrangement", "Honestly, I am not quite sure what happened with this. I have already set up a replacement to be sent over to your sister this morning. I am having my design manager making this arrangement for her. Again my apologies. I am happy that you pointed this out to us so we can fix this." Well after I saw a picture of the one sent today that the "Design manager" had made, I nearly fell over, are you kidding me is what I said, and how embarrassing. Well Schroeder's did apologies to my sister on the card sent out today. My sister said even the hospital staff were laughing at the 2 and the situation. I asked Brad during my one and only phone conversation with him, if he had a chance to look at the arrangement before it was sent out, and he stated that he didn't. So I sent the picture. This was his response, an excuse: "This is a picture of the back side of the arrangement. This arrangement is to be made as one sided, not all the way around. If you read the description, it is described as a one sided arrangement, not all the way around. Made all the way around this arrangement would be nearly double the price. Brad. (My reply was: "You're going to even attempt to give an excuse for that Brad? There's a picture of the front. His reply was" "The picture shown on the website is with all of the flowers at their most open point, at which point they would not last much longer. I'm sure in a few days when the roses and carnations begin to open, because they were just bought in, that it will look much fuller. Obviously, we aren't able to meet your expectations. We will give a full credit return and consider the matter closed. Sorry we couldn't satisfy your expectations. Sincerely, Brad ME: "My "Expectations" - as I've said I've been doing business with Schroeders for over 30 years and never had an issue with my "Expectations" Brad, once again, are you kidding me - you can't tell me that the third arrangement is what it is supposed to look like even when they are "Opened in a few days". Unbelievable. "We are refunding your entire purchase price and have apologized. I'm sorry that's how you feel. Have a peaceful evening". Brad BRAD, as I said, What happened to customer service, a simple, I am very very sorry for this, and just finally send out an arrangement that you post on your site. Very disappointed in a bouquet of flowers that were delivered to me on December 5 for my birthday . It was a mixed floral bouquet and had 3 red roses included . The roses were half wilted and the white flowers did not look very fresh either . The red carnations were fine . The vase was filled with so much pine tree etc fillers . I did not want to tell my son how disappointed I was as he ordered them from his home in Florida . But maybe I should let him know that the quality was not what it should have been . read more

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous for our wedding! Stephanie was very helpful and prompt in replying to emails. She had great suggestions and a good eye for composition. Delivery was prompt. We have used Schroeder's for over 40 years. Unfortunately they do not have a very customer friendly attitude. I told them they had a record of what they had done last year, but they just kept saying no. Finally they went to the computer and found it. No apology. It was as if they were doing me a favor. If there was a category for LESS than one star they would get it! So very disappointed in this local florist. My daughter who lives out of town graciously sent me flowers yesterday for my birthday and when they were delivered, I sent her a picture and a thank you. She then sent me a picture of what they were SUPPOSED to look like. When I called the florist to voice this, I spoke with a very nice gal, named Jo who explained they could refund my daughter, $15 or replace the arrangement. I opted for the replacement. When this was delivered the next day, it was less than impressive. When I spoke with the manager, Brad, he blamed the difference on my daughter stating that she mistook the arrangement she was getting. My daughter is broke not stupid. NO ACCOUNTABLITY for their poor replacement. This is the 2nd time she's entrusted Schroeder's with a deliver and the 2nd time this has happened. I will reimburse my daughter the $44 and change they took from her and we will purchase our future flowers and plants from a more reputable florist - there are plenty of them in Green Bay - Shame on you Schroeder's!!!! read more

I spoke with Schroeder's on the phone for 20 minutes three days before I was due to pick up my order. I was told everything would be ready with no problems. When I arrived to pick up my order not only was it a)not ready b)not what I ordered but c)no one there cared that it was wrong and not ready. When I pointed out that I had asked for cut flowers, the clerk said, "Can't you cut them?" This store acts like they are doing you a favor by letting you purchase from them. How they have managed to stay in business this long and be a Green Bay institution just goes to show how much abuse Green Bay customers will tolerate. We go to Schroeder's often. As devoted gardeners, we know there are a lot of greenhouses and nurseries in the area - we've been to all of them! But Schroeder's still has the best hanging baskets and floral arrangements for gifts. For Memorial Weekends we always go to Schroeder's for their geraniums for the cemetery. They last all summer! And the staff are extremely helpful! read more
