But I saw all the flowers coming in(earlier today) thr reminded me of mother. So I just had to get flowers to remind me of her. Ohhhh how I hated to water then as a young boy growing up and all those flowers. Now I can't get enough and wish I had more space for them. So this establishment has it all. I saw a High tree/small bush Trimmed up,that but full of beautiful red roses(see pics). They had some good deals. I like supporting local over other big box places. Not that there is anything wrong with fleet farm and getting 20% off with the season being in the middle of June. But this is a mom and pop shop with loyal people so I love to support them. People were so helpful and kind. Helped me get some of the heavier things into the vehicle. I will be going back again on pay day. There is just so much to take in(enjoy the pics). I was promised that it would be made and delivered that day. It's Thursday afternoon and has still not been delivered. I called the store and the man who answered was very rude, never apologized and said "it's a busy time of year." He then told me it had been delivered. When I told him it was not, I was told, "maybe you'll have better luck with another florist." I ended the call. He called back to say the arrangement was still sitting in their back room and has not been delivered. Despite not being delivered four days after it was supposed to be, they charged my account earlier in the week. Horrible customer service. Still no product, despite being charged for the arrangement and the delivery.

We asked what was wrong and they explained that nobody would be allowed into the store without masks. I agreed it was silly, but I pulled my scarf up over my face and complied. As I approached the entrance, the recent male owner insisted I put on plastic gloves due to COVID-19. I said No, Thank You. He then angrily chastised me in front of about 10 employees and patrons, "If you're going to shop in my store you're wearing gloves! If I get sick, I won't be able to make a living! You're free to get your flowers elsewhere." It was very embarrassing--more so for him. My party as well as several others decided then and there that we would not be giving him our business. Hopefully it won't take a hit to his wallet for him to learn how to treat his [long-term] customers with dignity; and hopefully he'll do some research on simple health precautions instead of taking mainstream media sources as infallible truth.

She was looking for moss roses, which they also don't carry. She was interested in another flower they did have but the employee we were talking to was distracted by a vehicle that had pulled in. Clearly a friend, as she abruptly left stating the lady needed help and left us standing there. Another employee came by without acknowledging us. I told my mom that we were done. They were not interested in our business. We went to Wery's where they are always happy, friendly and knowledgeable. They also have moss roses and veggies.

They say they will stand behind them but not really true. Bought my mom a big plant for Mothers Day. It really never bloomed much and then died and dried up. My mom definitely has a green thumb. She tried to exchange it but no luck. So I went in to talk to them about a return for a different plant and was told sorry nothing we can do.
