The owner/chef Robert Evans can be found most Saturdays and Sundays serving up his delicious hotdogs outside the Roanoke, VA Best Buy. Robert uses all-beef hotdogs and steams the buns as they should be. He has all the toppings including chili, Bertman Ball Park Mustard, onions, jalapeños, cheddar, and much more. The hotdogs alone are worth a visit to this food cart, but the prices are the icing on the cake. A double combo features two hotdogs, chips, and a drink for the low price of $6. What adds to this great business is Robert's enthusiasm. He is super friendly and loves to talk with his customers while preparing their food. He's an avid baseball fan and enjoys discussing the great American pastime with his patrons. Take my word for it, Robert's Home Run Hot Dogs cart is a fun time any weekend it's open.

I was honestly expecting something more like a traditional mini pie, but these small half-moon pies can actually be eaten without utensils! I found it to be more similar to what I would call a turnover, but I found in my research that hand pies are actually quite common and have less flaky crust. They just have more crust proportionally and have less filling, making them thin and easy to eat without the content spilling out. I absolutely loved my caramel pecan pie! I also got to try my husband's cherry pie, which I also was a fan of. Both of the pies were pleasantly not as sweet (or fake tasting) as I expected. There really is a good balance of the buttery crust with the more sugary contents inside. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors and even some of the savory options, too!

Nicely loaded and assembled, more stuff than brisket. The winner here was the ABT, an Atomic Buffalo Turd. Absolutely appalling to look at but what would you expect with that name? A jalapeno pepper stuffed with cream cheese and pulled pork, wrapped in bacon and then smoked over hickory. It looks exactly like the name but it's still delicious. Bao Yeah offers not only bao but bowls and fried chicken as well. Their ordering (via tablet) is convenient, and they turn around orders quickly. I went with a three-piece bao, which allowed me to sample the two fried chicken varieties (K*Bomb with gochujang and Garlic Gang with soy black garlic) as well as the bulgogi. All of the bao were amply stuffed with meat and pickled vegetables and slathered with tasty sauce. The thick buns held everything in place, so eating was not too sloppy an endeavor. Everything delivered the expected flavors - sweet heat from the K*Bomb, a tangier note from the bulgogi - and the fried chicken boasted a thick, crunchy batter.
