In just one year as her patient, Ive seen more progress with my condition than any other doctor I had previously. Her staff is just as helpful, and super personable people who make you feel comfortable. Their professionalism is unmatched, Im guilty of putting the staff through the loop one day. I was having a terrible week and it showed, but they still remained professional, kind and compassionate towards me even when i was being an a**hole, which I know they probably deal with on a daily. Loraine finally came in, she appeared visibly agitated and mentioned she was running behind while another employee informed her that the patient scheduled after me was upset about the wait. At no point did she apologize to me for the significant delay. I asked whether it was still appropriate to proceed since the numbing cream had been sitting on my skin for such a long time. She simply applied more numbing cream and disappeared for another 30 minutes or so. I had taken the afternoon off for this appointment, but I certainly wasn't expecting to spend hours waiting because of poor scheduling and time management. When the procedure finally began, another employee interrupted to tell P.A. Loraine that a patient had returned and was very upset about an issue. Without hesitation, she asked someone else to finish my treatment and rushed out to deal with what she referred to as a "difficult patient." I have never spent thousands of dollars on cosmetic treatments only to be treated with such little regard for my time. The entire visit lasted more than four hours, and it felt more like waiting at a walk-in urgent care than receiving care at a premium aesthetic practice. As for the results, I had Clear + Brilliant laser, Sculptra, and Botox. The only treatment that produced noticeable results was the Botox. I did not see any meaningful improvement from either the laser or the Sculptra. Florida has no shortage of outstanding dermatology and aesthetic practices. Given this office's premium pricing, poor time management, lack of professionalism, and disappointing experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The biopsy confirmed melanoma in situ. Unfortunately, that doctor does not perform melanoma removals, and I quickly discovered there were no physicians in the Naples area who offer this specialized service. Thankfully, a trusted friend in Delray Beach and a plastic surgeon friend both enthusiastically recommended Dr. Feinstein. Their recommendation turned out to be one of the best things that could have happened to me. Dr. Feinstein is truly phenomenal, professional, highly skilled, and exceptionally caring. From the moment he walked into the room, I felt completely at ease. He took the time to explain every single detail of the surgical removal process in clear, reassuring language. He carefully outlined the exact excision area on my shoulder, walked me through what to expect with the stitches including how long they would remain and answered every question I had with patience and expertise. He even went out of his way to make room in his busy schedule so I could be seen the very next week. Most of them have faded over the years, but two small ones remain, so we wanted to see if laser treatment would be an option. The doctor took the time to carefully examine her and gave us an honest recommendation. He explained that she's still too young for the procedure because she would likely need anesthesia for laser treatment. Instead of rushing into it, he advised us to wait until she's around 10 years old, when the birthmarks may become less noticeable on their own and laser treatment would be easier and safer. We truly appreciated his professionalism and honesty. It's refreshing to meet a doctor who puts the patient's best interests first instead of recommending an unnecessary procedure. The office itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The staff was kind, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. I left Dr. Mounir M. Wassef´s practice with a very, very bad taste in my mouth…read more I first went to see him as a new patient for an annual check up and consultation. During my first visit, I showed him a couple of small, keratosis like lesions that I suspected were cancerous. He agreed and did biopisies. The purpose of my second appointment was to inform me that the biopsies had come back positive for squamous cell carcinoma, something that I am quite familiar with being that I have very fair skin and grew up in a tropical climate. During this second visit, I pointed to yet another lesion on my chest which he had missed during the body check. Another biopsy followed and on my third appointment I was told that this lesion had also come out squamous cell carcinoma. Now, because these were very, very small and incipient, Dr. Wassef informed me that surgery was not needed. He would freeze all three with liquid nitrogen, a procedure that takes seconds and involves no extraction. Dr. Wassef could have done this during this visit, but proceeded to inform me that he would only be able to freeze one at a time because he would not be paid by my insurance otherwise. This was a first to me. As a dermatology patient for many years, the norm has always been to use the liquid nitrogen on various lesions at a time. Hence, on my next appointment, I asked him why he was having me come back time and again. His response was to point to his assistant, who was present, and inform me that he had to "pay for her salary". He then added that he also had to pay for his children's college tuition, etc. At this pronouncement, I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided to never go back to this practice. Fortunately, I was able to secure a quick appointment with my previous dermatologist in Miami and take care of ALL three lesions in a single appointment: one billed visit, one co-pay. Dr. Wassef is undoubtedly knowledgeable and competent in his field. He is also personable. What he is not is ethical. He embodies everything that is wrong with our greed infused medical system.
