Today we visited Feinstein Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery as a family for our 4-year-old daughter. She was born with several birthmarks on her face. Most of them have faded over the years, but two small ones remain, so we wanted to see if laser treatment would be an option. The doctor took the time to carefully examine her and gave us an honest recommendation. He explained that she's still too young for the procedure because she would likely need anesthesia for laser treatment. Instead of rushing into it, he advised us to wait until she's around 10 years old, when the birthmarks may become less noticeable on their own and laser treatment would be easier and safer. We truly appreciated his professionalism and honesty. It's refreshing to meet a doctor who puts the patient's best interests first instead of recommending an unnecessary procedure. The office itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The staff was kind, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. I was seen by dermatologist after their office pre-approved my insurance (blue cross) and I pay the copay. It was a mundane check up visit, nothing extraordinary. I change to another insurance company THREE MONTHS LATER! The office failed to bill my insurance for a long time and now they perusing me for the whole payment that is strangely disproportionate! They schedule appointments and they either keep you waiting for a ridiculous amount of time or they cancel the appointment with no notice the day before. Has happened multiple times. Could never get answers and when I decided after the last cancellation to see another doctor in the area who actually took the time so go over all of my issues, I found out they were wrong on their diagnosis. Had some Juvederm done on my forehead and between my eyes and outside of my eyes . Well the Juvederm didn't work for me . Dr Levines assistant called and ask me how I was ? I explained that the lines are still there . She advised me to come back in and they would take care of my situation. Well so far so good , Botox seemed to work for me before . This place is a joke. They have the money and that much is obvious so I believe that is partially why people answering the phones, people behind the desk, and people running around with scrubs and tablets do not care about you're personal well-being what so ever. I've dealt with it all from my insurance covering "nothing" to having to wait almost an hour and a half in the waiting room because that day there was a lot of "emergency visits" which is word for word what Natalie had told me. The cherry on top though is cancelling my damn appointment the day before I'm supposed to go in. Just wow. I'm on prescription and this ruins everything. All around awful experience. The copay for this office was 5 dollars..I paid in cash and the continues to send me a bill for the 5 dollars .Demeaning me I was sent a check for 10 dollars..The saddest part is that they froze 6 sun spots, which still remain..Never offered a correction..A must skip because nobody wants to pay a Dr. for nothing..A must skip...I should have been offered a free visit to redo the removal of sunspots.. read more

I wish I could give them a five star. I asked for an opening any time or day and spoke with Olivia. I explained my concerns as I have been a previous patient and my clinical analysis was on file. She said my concerns would take 1/2 hour. Olivia said I happen to have a cancellation within 2 .5 hours of our conversation. I came I at the appointed time . Dr. Feinstein came in and basically gave me five minutes of his time. Olivia then came in and we discussed different options to address my concerns. First question why doesn't the dermatologist (DR. Feinstein) discuss my concerns and then he leaves and brings in his assistant (PT) to answer my questions.??? I feel as if the doctor gave me just a moment of his time ( less than his original 25 minute time slot and less than 15 minutes) and I am not happy. I have recommended the office for other friends of mine but I will no longer. He only reason I'm giving them two stars is because of the office managers and staff they really are very good. read more

Very unhappy with filler selection, placement and effect by the physician. Face is deformed now and going to another derm to dissolve because will never trust this office again. Be careful. This filler was supposed to dissolve on its own within a year but is still present at a year and a half. Filler can stay in the face for decades. In my opinion, this doctor is NOT a skilled nor talented injector. Staff is rude and unaccommodating and unapologetic. read more

I feared Mohs Surgery, but thanks to Melinda and the staff reassurance, I was treated with the best care possible. Went there for a routine skin check. Discovered a 2 very small skin cancers on my leg and recommended removal. When I arrived I was told that MOHS surgery would be done. I asked why Dr. Feinstein was performing Mohs as this is usually done on the face to spare removing excess tissue. He said this was better. He only performed 2 swipes. After surgery his nurse brought in a large box to be used with dressing changes. She said it was a collagen powder kit to fill in the holes left from the surgery. Here it is one year later and I have 2 nickel sized dark red/purple scars. And they sent me bills for over $1,000 (for the collagen kit!) I was told Medicare would be accepted for payment. Then the collection calls came. I've since reported this to Medicare for investigation. read more

I met with Dr. Bridgit Nolan this week as I had several concerns about my skin. She answered every question in explicit detail. She came across as extremely knowledgable, well spoken, and thorough. She addressed each issue and did not make feel rushed at all. The nurse who accompanied me to the examination room was also professional and answered my many questions as appropriate - some were referred to the doctor. The office itself is very clean, bright and cheery. It's a sizable practice and there are several doctors on staff. As you leave, first-timers receive a goodie bag with menus of all the services they offer, with costs.
