I am a landscape foreman for the past 12 years. I am constantly exposed to the suns rays. I try to go to dermatologist every fall to get a body scan and make sure I have no issues due to the sun. I called my usual doctor who no longer took my insurance. I found out that this office took mine and made a appointment with me so fast. I signed in electronically and was asked for my family history and any health issues. I was seen right on time by Justin and Susan. They both were very polite and Justin was very thorough. Explained everything he was doing and answered any of my questions. He took a byopsy of a small mark on my back to make sure it wasn't serious. I should have results shortly. She is one of the sweetest, kindest providers and up to date on all trends as far as cosmetic and medical procedures go. Her partner, Kristin, is equally as amazing. Those two work together seamlessly and are always greeting you with a smile. Perhaps I'm most impressed by Karyn's willingness to spend time with her patients and not rush on to the next one. Never have I felt rushed or that she needed to get on to her next patient. Did I mention she is a true artist in her procedures?? This practice puts money before patient care. The doctor that treated me was fantastic, I would love to go back to her, but Schweiger's practices are shameful. I paid my $50 copay and yet, they billed me for an unknown cost. It's the principle, not the money. No one can give me the answer to why or what the cost is for. Additionally the rooms are in disrepair. I was in two rooms and in each there were untreated water stains on the tiles on the ceiling. I counted at least 4 in each. I mentioned it to the doctor and her response was, 'I agree, they should something. It's been up there for over a year.' The practice is so corporate, it's a joke. read more

My first appointment with Dr. Notaro was at the end of June. She was thorough in her exam and listened to all of my concerns before she recommended a course of treatment for my rosacea. She prescribed 2 different meds (one cream, one gel) to use on the affected areas. My follow up appointment with her was after 6 weeks of use. The improvement to my skin is really noticeable; so much so that even my husband has commented in the changes! Rosacea is not something that can be "cured" it's a constant work in progress. S.D. Is a great office. They take you in right away. The staff is very attentive and doting. Doctor Notaro is very attentive and detail oriented. She is very cordial and explains everything she is doing and any findings she has. She always give YOU the options and considers YOUR input on all procedures! She also has a great sense of lightheartedness and is easy to talk to! Also, not that you spend much time there, but the waiting room is clean, comfortable and bright! I was pleasantly surprised to have a great experience here. I saw Dr. Nataro who is highly skilled, personable, knowledgeable as I had a cyst removed - two weeks for results which is a bit over the top but that is the lab, not the doctor. I felt very comfortable in a potentially dark situation that she is extremely knowledgeable and it always helps these days when the doctor is warm, kind and patience - which she was. My family and I have been seeing Dr Notaro for 10 years now. She is a wonderful doctor, energetic, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, up-to-date with new procedures, and a pleasure to know. Had appointment at Schweiger Dermatology in Mattituck yesterday and it went as well as could be. When I got there they immediately checked my temp & made sure I was wearing a mask. Wait time was no more than 5 minutes. Totally professional atmosphere from start to finish with cold bottled water available in waiting room. I love Dr. Notaro and the staff at the Mattituck office. I have seen many Dermatologists over the years for the treatment of my Eczema with little success. Dr. Notaro and her staff truly care about me as a patient and Dr. Notaro is like my own cheerleader. Eczema is not fatal but it can really effect the quality of your life. I had an appointment at 3:20 walked in office at 3:15 filled out the info needed on the touch screen with my own pen so there was no contact. Paid my co-payment and was about to sit down when I was called into the office had my temp taken first. Everyone was nice and efficient. Dr Notaro is an excellent, personable dermatologist whose thoroughness probably saved my life. While many doctors would have "let" me refuse the procedure to take a sample of a suspicious mole as I tried, Dr Notaro had a perfect way of insisting and let's just say that I am very glad she didn't let me walk out of the office that day as the sample proved to be stage 0 melanoma. read more
