So of course, I had to make an appointment with her, after seeing other Dermatologist that have fallen short of treating my skin condition. She's very detailed in her examination and in the way she explains your condition and ultimately the treatment. She takes her time and talks to you like you are more than a patient. "Like Family". Her care doesn't end at the office, she follows up with you to make sure everything is going well through every phase of the treatment. She's like the Britannica of Dermatology, literally. It's always a pleasure seeing her and listening attentively to her diagnosis and recommendation which leads to a great outcome.

My issue began in 2020 at age 22; I started to notice a slight increase in pimples (my guess is due to a rise in stress levels). Then, in 2021--soon after I began taking Whey Protein and overusing products in response to the increase in pimples--LOTS of little flesh colored bumps began to appear on my face. There were too many of them to control, so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Goldwasser. I told her everything that had been going on and what I had been doing, which she recorded, and in response gave me very knowledgeable/helpful feedback. She knew right away what she was looking at on my face: Comedonal Acne. Warning me that it would take some time, she promised that she would transform my skin, writing a plan out that included some diet advice and great product advice. Her promise speaks through my after photo, which you should see for yourself attached, as I am so happy! She also asked if I'd be interested in learning more improving the condition of my skin, and suggested a number of alternative treatments at various price points. She seems wicked smart, up-to-date, but also able to relate to her patients. Best of all, going to her offices feels like going to the spa rather than going to a gross grubby doctor's office! I finally called to schedule to get into the office, which was recommended to me, and got in within 2 weeks, pretty reasonable. I go and see Simone and she immediately starts telling me her thoughts about what's going on, does a punch biopsy, and orders outrageously thorough blood work. She was thoughtful in her explanations, listened and answered my questions thoughtfully, and gave me great next steps. The blood work came back, and thanks to Simone, I now know what's happening to me. What has been happening to me since I was 12 (2 decades of symptoms!). No doctor has ever tested me for what she tested and to say I am grateful for her expertise, knowledge, and outside of scope thinking is an understatement. I'm now getting on a treatment plan that should help clear up all of my symptoms within the next few months hopefully. I owe so much to this office now and cannot recommend them enough. This is a nice, welcoming place. The building has a charming rustic look (like a large old-style…read morehouse that has been made into office buildings). The Skin Centre has its own doors (so no communal doors and trying to find suite #4). Lots of parking. The waiting room surprisingly small, but has about 7 chairs. It's clean, open, and gets lots of sunshine. The receptionist is friendly and takes care of things quickly. The patient rooms have really cool chairs. These chairs are electronically adjustable and can go all the way flat, up to almost chest height or down to the ground. Had lots of fun playing elevator w/ my baby on these chairs while we were waiting (shhhhh). We saw Dr. Abdulla (who was recommended by our pediatrician). She was very friendly, very practical, and great at explaining things. The wait time wasn't too bad (maybe 10-15 mins) and she seemed very sure of herself and of her diagnosis. I was happy at how flexible the office was to squeeze us in on a Saturday when we called on Monday. Also - they were able to squeeze me in there too, saving me a second trip the next weekend. Overall, I think this is a nice and friendly place to go for all your dermatologist needs. And instead of writing a prescription, the Dr. prefers to get the address/number/general location of your pharmacy so she can call in the prescription directly. Oh yeah - I forgot to mention the bathroom was very large/spacious w/ pretty tile and bath & body works soap.

Dr. Strenger Saved My life! I went to Dr. strenger when i…read morewalked in the first time he asked me why are you here? (even though i'm from the community) politely and with out making small talk ( as a busy doctor that always has a packed waiting room with a month waiting for reg. appointments) i visited Dr. Strenger, about a growth on my thigh, and by the way showed him a little pink mole that was intermittently bleeding - I had shown this to my regular doctor who dismissed it - but when Dr Strenger looked at it (for a second) without "saying much" cleaned the area then took out a razor and a tiny container, sliced it off, and told me its probably nothing but i'm sending it in to the lab for a biopsy. as it turned out it was a melanoma mole, but thanks to Dr. Stringer it was caught very early so i didn't need any treatment as it didn't spread. when I went to "Memorial sloan hospital" to one of the highest professionals on melanoma for surgery he told me i should be very thankful to my dermatologist for testing that mole as it was a very rare type that he might have not recognized as a dangerous mole, had we not removed surgically that mole it could have spread very fast. so While I thank GOD for sending mew to the right doctor I have to thank the Doctor himself. BTW I once asked DR. Strenger how he diagnoses so quickly and he said if you cant diagnose in the first 10 seconds you cant diagnose. I've been to Dr Strenger many times since and were always treated very professionally, A Dermatologist is not a shrink to spend his and his patients waiting on girly talk cause a patient is lonely before his wedding.
