I had a great experience at Schweiger Dermatology in Rockland County. When I stepped inside it was very clean, start of the art, decorative with a fish tank that was clearly well maintained. The door is clear glass so don't walk into it! as I almost did. loI I was greeted by Gabi and Abi at the counter who were super friendly, helpful, with a big huge smiles. I came to Schweiger because I really didn't want to drive to the city to see a derm, and Schweiger Dermatology was recommended by about 300 ppl in a fb group. Now I know why; Dr. Yael Pinn was amazing. She took care of removing 2 of my moles, and I didn't feel anything. She was really quick and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She even gave me a compliment and told me I am young.... (but I might be older than her as she looks pretty young). In the treatment room, Jessica was really helpful and made sure I understood everything that was happening. She was there to answer any questions I had. Booking appointments online was super easy, which made the whole process a lot smoother for me and actually the real reason why I came to Schweiger. They were listed on ZocDoc which is a site I love to use for finding good doctors in the area who accept your insurance instead of calling 30 offices. Overall, my experience at Schweiger Dermatology was great. The staff is friendly, the doctors are skilled, and I felt well taken care of. I'll definitely be going back for any future skin care needs. I will post a photo of clear skin after I remove the bandage, but seriously there was no pain, and it was sort of fun! Due to the type of condition I'm receiving treatment for, I've had monthly visits to the Schweiger Dermatology Suffern office for over 6 months. Each visit, from the first to my most recent has been pleasant and productive. I had tried another dermatology practice prior to Schweiger but had very poor outcomes: the treatments were not adequate, they left horrible scarring, and there were billing issues. After my 1st visit at Schweiger I was in a perpetual, mental Happy Dance! The precision of techniques used by the physician was spot on! Over the remaining months never once did I feel uncomfortable or rushed, nor did I have long waits, and although I could tell there were busy days, everyone was always very pleasant and attentive to my comfort. I'm very happy I found a wonderful place capable of effectively treating my condition. read more

I have no complaints about the care I received from Priya Desai on my two visits there, however, when I went to wash my hands after using the bathroom I was appalled to find a bottle of germicidal soap filled with nothing but water. Apparently none was to be had in the office because when I complained to Priya Desai, she said she would pass it along. Pass it along? When I got to my car I called the main number to complain, and a man named Nasir tried to blame it on the maintenance man. I told Nasir that washing hands at a doctor's office is NOT A MIKVAH, a ritual cleansing where the fingertips are barely moistened by the tap water, that people need to scrub their hands. I've been an RN for almost 30 years, and I've seen people die from these communicable diseases. Another employee told me that the owners were very cheap and that they wouldn't even pay for snow plowing after a heavy snowfall! So there you have it. Doctor was very nice and outlined all the potential treatments in regard to my excessive sweating (reason for visit). Would recommend! read more

I was very disappointed with this office as the doctor was 45 minutes late for my appointment which was the first appointment of the day. I was left sitting in a filthy room with trash from the day before spilling over the garbage pail. By the time the doctor arrived, she asked me the same questions the technician asked me 10 minutes prior. I only wanted to refill a prescription, so the doctor looked at the prescription, asked me two questions and left the room. She never examined me and never came back into the room. I finally left. I am now being charged for a 45 minute visit which actually took 5 minutes. read more

I would highly recommend this place. I took my 14-year-old here and we saw Dr. Avi Sokoloff. He took his time with us and was patient with my son. He was also able to diagnose something that our pediatrician missed. The office was super clean and with COVID-19 ,that was very important to me. Everyone wore a mask but , I'm surprised they didn't take temperatures ? The office staff were also great. The doctor followed up with us within a few days. I have been seeing Dr. Sutton since I moved to Rockland County 13 years ago. He and his staff have always been there for all my checkups and skin emergency problems which have been many. The nursing staff (especially Karen) has contributed to the success of this medical office and the manner in which they care for patients is what makes me continue to keep them for my dermatology needs. read more

Calling to make an appointment was very easy. Arriving, I was helped by Jessica at the front desk who was fantastic. 1 minute I waited to go in. Anthony the Assistant was extremely helpful and friendly. Noelle was the Physican Assistant that saw me. She was extremely friendly and very patient listening to my symptoms. She made some recommendations on a course of action which was great. She really wanted to diagnose my condition correctly and not just guess what it might be. Can't ask for more than that. As a new customer I couldn't have been more satisfied. I called the day before saying I was visiting and wanted a few skin tags off. I was in the next day and completed the whole process within half hour. Really really impressive I must say.
