The door is clear glass so don't walk into it! as I almost did. loI I was greeted by Gabi and Abi at the counter who were super friendly, helpful, with a big huge smiles. I came to Schweiger because I really didn't want to drive to the city to see a derm, and Schweiger Dermatology was recommended by about 300 ppl in a fb group. Now I know why; Dr. Yael Pinn was amazing. She took care of removing 2 of my moles, and I didn't feel anything. She was really quick and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She even gave me a compliment and told me I am young.... (but I might be older than her as she looks pretty young). In the treatment room, Jessica was really helpful and made sure I understood everything that was happening. She was there to answer any questions I had. Booking appointments online was super easy, which made the whole process a lot smoother for me and actually the real reason why I came to Schweiger. They were listed on ZocDoc which is a site I love to use for finding good doctors in the area who accept your insurance instead of calling 30 offices. Overall, my experience at Schweiger Dermatology was great. The staff is friendly, the doctors are skilled, and I felt well taken care of. I'll definitely be going back for any future skin care needs. I will post a photo of clear skin after I remove the bandage, but seriously there was no pain, and it was sort of fun! I heard she also offers Botox and other cosmetic treatments you can check out.

(I checked in several times to see what was taking so long) It was clear they had made a mistake, perhaps the PA (Anita Fox) had left. Instead of being apologetic at all they had us see a PA that was their and available. (Jennifer Sala) She completely disregarded my concerns. When I tried to ask about getting a biopsy the doctor said they don't use any numbing agent in front of my 7 year old daughter, clearly making her very upset. What dermatologist doesn't use any numbing when taking a biopsy. Would never suggest going her unless you like waiting and are into pain.

I waited and waited to be called in and noticed that 5 patients were called before me who came in after me. When I went up to the desk to find out what was going on I was told that I would not be seeing the doctor that only her PA would be seeing me. Of course the office manager told me you were told that when you made the appointment. The doctor is way too busy to see you. I waited 2.5 months. How much longer do I have to wait? I told the office manager that no one informed me of that fact and said I wanted to see the doctor. She has no time for you. Why would I want to be affiliated with a doctor that cares that little? I finally called to schedule to get into the office, which was recommended to me, and got in within 2 weeks, pretty reasonable. I go and see Simone and she immediately starts telling me her thoughts about what's going on, does a punch biopsy, and orders outrageously thorough blood work. She was thoughtful in her explanations, listened and answered my questions thoughtfully, and gave me great next steps. The blood work came back, and thanks to Simone, I now know what's happening to me. What has been happening to me since I was 12 (2 decades of symptoms!). No doctor has ever tested me for what she tested and to say I am grateful for her expertise, knowledge, and outside of scope thinking is an understatement. I'm now getting on a treatment plan that should help clear up all of my symptoms within the next few months hopefully. I owe so much to this office now and cannot recommend them enough. My wife went for a skin check with Dr. Fogelman-this was her first visit so she filled out the…read morepaperwork and indicated she wanted a skin check since she has a small dark rough skin on her lower back. Dr. Fogelman's assistant did not give her a paper gown and said the doctor will be in soon. He came in and my lifted her sweater a little above her waist to show him the dark spot. He stood 3-4 feet away and said it was hereditary and gave her a neutrogena brochure. The office charged $20.00 and he never did a skin check. Subsequently we received a bill where Medicare was charged $325-after her Medicare deductible was applied the office sent her a bill for $116.00 when I called the billing department to contest the bill, they said the the doctor said my wife refused the skin check which was a not true. If Doctor Fogelman does not want to examine a woman's body, he should not take the appointment. After asking to speak to the office manager-they said they will call back, My wife also called and they also said the office manager will call back. Here we are 3 weeks later and no one called and we are still getting billed. Additionally my wife had to see another dermatologist (female) in another practice who diagnosed her black spot as s keratosis and froze the area which fell off after a week. We now are expecting bill from this new office visit. As an aside, I advised my wife to visit Dr. Fogelman as he has been my dermatologist. Neither one of us will ever go to this practice and we are considering to complain to the better business bureau.
