Tatum was my stylist and understood exactly what I was looking for in terms of my haircut and color. The experience was nice with a beautiful salon, conscious products and great beverages. I was also impressed by the cost of my all over color and cut, which was well below several luxury salons I'd been to but somehow the color and cut were better than those luxury salons. I left happier than I'd been about my hair in years. I couldn't recommend Tatum and Head Case salon more. 10 stars out of 5!

I ended up parking a block away on the street and walking up, but they have reserved parking available in the small parking lot across from Planters. The place itself is clean, bright, and spacious, and the ease of making an appointment was a breeze. I was able to call that morning and get in for a bang trim within the hour. My stylist this visit was Josh, who was very friendly and sat with me beforehand to discuss what sort of look I was going for. I appreciated the attention to detail, even for something as simple as a bang trim. Since I didn't get a full wash/cut/style, I can't speak to the full service, so that's why I've rated it as so.

I showed her a picture. Instead she put a toner on my hair. And also put darker low lights. No highlight's of blonde at all. And she said after she blow dried it. I would like it better. No that's not what I asked for or wanted at all!! She also didn't cover my gray hair which is what I wanted. She said it would just grow out in 4 weeks if I had all over color. Said it would lighten up in about 2 weeks after several washings. It hasn't. I was so very upset because I had it done for a special occasion. And it looked worse after going here. I spent over a hundred dollars for nothing!! I tried calling to see if they could help lighten my hair for the special event. I left a voicemail. No one answered that day. It was a Thursday. They only worked until noon the next day so no one even tried to help me. I'm stuck with the worst hair color of my life. I've gone to hair salons for years and I've never had anyone ever not listen to me and do the opposite of what I wanted. I'm so very disappointed. I will not return ever. Hopefully this review will help. And maybe no one else will go through what I did.

The salon and it's staff was incredible. A lovely location with staff as kind can be. I had no idea what I really wanted going into my appointment but Paty went above and beyond to help. She brought a selection of colors, ideas, designs and accessories. Paty was so friendly, casual and had a cool attitude. Made me feel very welcome and like I had been in before. They have cute wings painted in front of a huge mirror so it looks really cool. In the salon area it's all graffitied. It's so fun in there. Hairfairykc does my hair and she's amazing! She makes sure she keeps the integrity of my hair through all of the colors I want to do. She's great!
