I went to Ink Addiction on March 26 to get a very simple tattoo. I didn't realize how…read moreinexperienced the tattoo artist is or I wouldn't have gone there. As soon as the tattoo was finished, the skin all around the tattoo was raised and very red and it was obvious the tattoo had "bled" a lot. I waited 3 weeks to see if it went away. The black discoloration didn't. I contacted Ink Addiction and sent photos. I was told that Johnnie would put in some water color free of charge. I've contacted him twice to set up an appointment to do this but he's never responded back. I definitely would NOT recommend this place!

Unlike some tattoo artists who get stuck only wanting to do a certain style, Jo just loves to draw. Bring her some reference material of what you want and she can draw up a design that you will be proud to show off. Of course, if you want something quick and easy she is not above doing some Flash. :) She has designed most of my tattoos, large and small, and I have no complaints about any of them. If you are looking to get an amazing piece of art and don't want to deal with stuck-up artists, then head on out to Yukon! (FYI - She is usually booked up a month or so in advance, so be sure to get an appointment time/date once you have decided what you want to get.)

So I came here Feb 13th, I had wanted a small foot tattoo. I am a yoga teacher, and going to school…read morefor training, so really wanted something special to represent that. Anyway, I was supposed to get a tattoo else where, and they told me they could no longer fit me in. So I did some research, and decided to come here! It was actually closer to where I live, so it was more convenient. (Also, it's near the gyro place and sandalwood store! Scoreee) Anyway- I called ahead. And Sean was able to fit me in! I came with my mom and a girlfriend, haha, a little support team since it was on my foot and only my 2nd tattoo. The shop was BUSY!!! I was pretty glad I called ahead- my girlfriend had been planning to get a tattoo, but they couldn't fit in walk ins. (Something about the day before Valentine's made everyone want to go get tattoos I suppose?) Anyway. I waited, he was pretty busy so I did wait a bit after my scheduled time. The shop was really clean, and had cool hand painted artwork on the wall! When he was ready for me, we talked about what I wanted and we did some research for about 10 minutes to get exactly what I wanted. When we where ready he brought me to his small back room! I had actually freaked myself out by googling foot tattoo pain, but Sean was VERY light handed, and while obviously it was still painful, I appreciated the fact that he was good at his job enough to make sure I wasn't too uncomfortable! I've gotten a back tattoo, that is pretty small. That hurt worse then the foot. He was very nice and professional, talking to us and helping distract me. When he was done he cleaned me up and wrapped it up! When we got to the counter, he actually charged me less then he quoted me. Which was pretty cool! it's been a few days since I've gotten it, and it doesn't hurt and is healing very nicely. (note I hadn't cleaned my foot off before I took the picture, the line work is wonderful!) I am probally not going to get another tattoo, but if I where, I would totally come back and specifically request Sean! I would also recommend him to anyone else getting a tattoo. Side note, there are several artists that work their, Jessie being another artist I've hear wonderful things about! Five stars. The experience was great!

Awesome place. Very very good work. Glad we chose them over all the other places around.read more

I'm truly upset at myself for not adding to this business before. If you're in the market for great…read morebody art this is the place! Hands down the crew here knows their stuff and will get you where you want to be. My only caution is, they book out fast and far so call first and set your appointment. Saturdays are walk-in days so if you're in the mood to do something spur of the moment get in line about eleven and wait for the noon opening.

Amazing studio. Came here to get a couple cartilage piercings. The environment was super clean, and…read morethe front lady was super nice and helpful. You have to make an appointment for a piercing during the weekday. I'm not sure on tattoos and what their policy is on weekends. Amanda was my piercer, and currently I believe she is the only person that does piercings here. She was extremely professional, educated, experienced, clean, and kind. She told me she has been doing what she's been doing for 20 years. She was very thorough, and made my piercing experience tolerable. I had my daith and conch pierced. I will not lie, it was painful, but it was fast and totally worth it. My youngest came with me, and really enjoyed Amanda's office. She had a ton of gaming figures, and he really enjoyed looking at all of them. He was so well-behaved Amanda gave him some treats as well. I'm mentioning this part in case you're a mother or father with young children, because well-behaved kids are able to stay in the piercing room with you. Overall, I can't really say anything negative except that it's more pricier than going to a store at the mall, obviously. This is a professional tattoo and piercing studio where they use a needle instead of a piercing gun. Way more cleaner and way more professional. If you need to get pierced, I definitely recommended this place and asking for Amanda.

I've held off on writing this because I genuinely want to support small businesses. I get how hard…read moreit is--I'm a mom, a nurse, and an entrepreneur too. But after more than two years of trying to get my tattoo finished and five months of active follow-ups, I need to speak up. In April, I booked an appointment with [artist name] for my birthday. She canceled two hours before because she was sick, which I totally understood. Life happens. She even promised extra time and said she'd "make it right." That felt fair. But then... silence. For weeks. When I tried to reschedule, she offered me a date after I'd already told her I wouldn't have childcare. I had to rearrange my whole life to secure a sitter for May 23--and then she canceled again. This happened three times, all cancellations on her side. After months of being ignored--texts, Facebook, even TikTok DMs--I reached out to another artist at the same shop just to be heard. Suddenly, I got a response. We finally got a new appointment for September 6. Then came more red flags: * She asked for a deposit I had already paid--twice. * I sent screenshots to prove it. She still didn't update it until the week before. * I asked multiple times how much to bring. She didn't answer until less than 24 hours before the appointment, and now said $200 without counting the deposit or the promised extra time. The night before, while I was hosting my daughter's first birthday, she messaged to move my appointment. I didn't see it. The next morning at 9:51 AM, she said she couldn't be there at 11, my confirmed time. I was already on the road and had childcare secured. When I arrived in town and realized she wasn't even there, I told her how frustrated I was. She said I was canceling. No ma'am--I was on time. She wasn't. I ended up turning around and going home, out hundreds in childcare, gas, and cash I had pulled just in case. And when I asked for my deposit back? She sent me $25--less than half of the $55 I originally paid. Why I'm Sharing This This is not just about a tattoo. This is about boundaries, professionalism, and respect for people's time, money, and mental energy. Small business or not, if you can't handle your books, honor your word, or communicate with clients, it's not the client's fault. To anyone thinking of booking here--please be aware. I genuinely hope she grows and improves her process, but this ain't it. (I originally posted this as a review on FB but it was deleted and then I was blocked. Multiple people reached out to me within the hour though with the same conversation. They ended it with "I thought it was just me.)

I would give more stars if I could. Clean, professional shop, with top notch artists. Awesome…read morepeople and atmosphere, and I can't express how talented the artists are. I will revisit this review with pics, when my sleeve is done. Jessi is an absolute legend!
