The black discoloration didn't. I contacted Ink Addiction and sent photos. I was told that Johnnie would put in some water color free of charge. I've contacted him twice to set up an appointment to do this but he's never responded back. I definitely would NOT recommend this place!

I gave it a shot then and now I'm a full convert to the SB name! They are many things that a lot of shops are not. They aren't pushy, they are honest, and respectful in every sense of the word. They will respect what you want as long as it is safe and will save you money when they can. Their jewelry is just as great as 23rd's, but far more reasonably priced, and you can trust what you buy is what they say it is! They are quick while still being efficient in their work, when it gets busier. I'd say my overall favorite thing about this place is the honesty. They won't push you to buy something else just because they will make more money. If you bring your own jewelry, they will happily pierce you with it as long as it's quality and the right style for what you want. Every trip I've made here has been a positive one! I got in contact with the actual artist and they told me directly they never gave any tattoo shop permission to use their designs and they told me they will be reaching out with their lawyers. Eventually we got our tattoos my husbands healed up nicely. Mine ended up with an infection. The gentleman who tattooed me was absolutely killing me on the shading. This wasn't my first tattoo. So the care for it wasn't the issue. But I can't 100% say the tattooer was at fault. It is the first tattoo I have ever had get infected and I had 15 tattoos before this new one. She still didn't update it until the week before. * I asked multiple times how much to bring. She didn't answer until less than 24 hours before the appointment, and now said $200 without counting the deposit or the promised extra time. The night before, while I was hosting my daughter's first birthday, she messaged to move my appointment. I didn't see it. The next morning at 9:51 AM, she said she couldn't be there at 11, my confirmed time. I was already on the road and had childcare secured. When I arrived in town and realized she wasn't even there, I told her how frustrated I was. She said I was canceling. No ma'am--I was on time. She wasn't. I ended up turning around and going home, out hundreds in childcare, gas, and cash I had pulled just in case. And when I asked for my deposit back? She sent me $25--less than half of the $55 I originally paid. Why I'm Sharing This This is not just about a tattoo. This is about boundaries, professionalism, and respect for people's time, money, and mental energy. Small business or not, if you can't handle your books, honor your word, or communicate with clients, it's not the client's fault. To anyone thinking of booking here--please be aware. Fresh and forever…read more It was my bad, I came in ill prepared but luckily they were able to accommodate and worked out the kinks of my design. Took 2 hours, from start to finish. I've only been to.. 3 tattoo shops and this one is by far the best. But they were over a decade ago so sanitary standards have changed. The whole place is inside a cozy little home, converted into a designer place of business. I love it. Adorable. Jimi was there with his girlfriend, also adorable couple and very well mannered. Mine only had 3 colors, black, red and dots of white all in texts. Came out exactly like what I provided. Jimi has a very cool style, Japanese mixed with Chinese, but also versatile. Love his work on the wall. The response time on yelp is really fast. Either Jimi or Jude. And you'll get an appointment and seen as scheduled. If I had social media they'd be tagged. And so far my arm feels very normal and the colors are vibrant.
