He appeared very knowledgeable about hair, and actually explained what he was doing and why, as well as giving various tips on how to keep the hair looking good, recommending various products (without trying to force me to buy them) and generally being easy to chat to. The wait for the (unbooked) cut wasn't particularly long, despite only one stylist working, and the wait was made much more bearable by the presence of a television and an unusually good selection of magazines. When I went in for my appointment I was greeted by smiling faces and as I waited they offered me refreshments. As I waited I had a look around and was impressed as the salon was a lot larger than it seemed from the outside. My therapist was friendly and lead my through to one of the treatment rooms. My massage was good and I immediately felt relaxed during the treatment. When it came to paying afterwards I was so relaxed that it took me a few minutes to fish my purse out of my bag!
