However, I was very happy with the selection of professional books and audio books. This branch reminds me of a grade school library in its appearance, ambiance and size. There are study areas, a community board and multiple reference computers. (Standard things) They have an online system that is linked to neighboring branches, and that expands the selection of books available to everyone. There is really not too much to say about this library but I do wish the lighting wasn't so dim. I used the cherry hill public library before I moved here and that location is certainly more modern. Its a nice branch, I see a lot of people having study sessions, parents brining their children and postings of local community activities. This location is a short distance from the princeton junction station and very easy to find.

First, lets remember that this is a public library, not a co-share office space that needs superior Wi-Fi. Its main purpose should be to cater to the local students whether your a baby or an adult. The library runs many programs that all ages can participate in. The library has sincerely nice people working here. I've never had to ask them about specific books because they can be looked up in the index, something that most elementary students learn and should know how to use. They have a wide selection of books. My kids of 8 and 10 spent hours picking out books. They have a decent selection of films, a small but appreciated selection of art books and lots of areas where kids come to get tutored and do their homework. Someone compared this library to the one in Princeton but that's really unfair. The library in Princeton has 1,000$ Louis Poulsen Lighting in the Kids section and original knoll chairs for their furniture. They have video games for rental and miles of books that can pretty much match most libraries in this country. Most local libraries will fall short in comparison. I've spent summers going to the Manhattan Library everyday; the big one and the little one. This library is perfect for this community and is a pleasure to visit on a daily basis. I just don't see the logic in out-of-town visitors, inclined to give a local library a bad review.

Downstairs you can see the children's area. On the stairwell going down, please admire the artwork!! The staff was very friendly and answering all my goofy questions!! They have photos on the wall by the Nakashima table one of the photos of Carl Samberg, Pearl buck & james Michener. I really enjoyed having a self tour and finding out the different activities. I've been so eager to visit and have driven by countless times. She was wonderful & showed me around. The children's area was adorable and very thoughtful. This is a library that really cares and being a person who loves books & the library I know we will be here quite frequently. For parking there is street or you can park at the high school & walk.

The Somerville Public Library just joined the county library system this past January. I was not a…read morepatron of the library previous to the transition, but since the switch I have been greatly pleased by the service and ability to use the services provided through the county system as well as the local branch. I did notice that the tax documents were out for public consumption at a very timely fashion. This library isn't terribly large, but it has an ample number of computers as well as a fair catalog to choose from, both in the literary and visual media. One of my favourite parts is that the library has pretty good hours and is very conveniently located.

The building is an old church with amazing architecture and beautiful stained glass windows. The wrought iron accents were donated to the library and add to its character. There is a small parking lot and limited street parking due to construction. The library offers story time and craft activities for children including an upcoming Halloween experience. There is a book club for adults which I've included in my photos. In addition to books, you can borrow DVDs and audio books. There is also a nice sized collection larger print books. You can also use the online library to borrow digital books and audio books. You can put in a reserve or hold request for materials currently on loan if they aren't available. The library also ships and receives books from other Bucks county libraries if a request is submitted. The library offers a lot of services that would be unexpected to most! The biggest surprise to me was the seed share program! The details are in my photos. There are also over 25 museum free passes that you can borrow. These can be reserved but must be picked up in person. You also must have your physical library card to pick up passes.

Can get loud since it's a small room and everyone can hear everyone so bring head phones if looking to study. They have decent collection of CDs and a few computers. Was impressed with the food pantry they have and community events listed on the board. Downside- limited hours and they open very late in the morning at 10:30am compared to nearby ones opening at 9/9:30am.

So Branson the 15 yr old chihuahua is a therapy dog and he makes people feel calm and at ease. Reading to Dogs event! So folks feel less stress. People read to him and he enjoyed it. Sweet and gentle doggy. I got a kick out of it. Such a charming town and library. I'm so glad they welcome folks to enjoy such an event. Such a simple joy. Thanks to the Branson and his owner for the work they do! They made reading books extra fun. Right! What happens- Just bring a book to the community room and read. Tip: Check the schedule for changes but I understand that Branson the chihuahua comes every other Friday.

She was very pleasant and courteous in going out of her way to help me. She truly made my experience at the Bucks County Free Library a pleasant and efficient one.
