The clean aesthetics and openness give you a sense of calm and a desire to be there, whether for studying or taking classes. They have book clubs and instructional classes ranging from hands-on cooking to needlework. They offer to take U.S. passport photos. They have so much to offer besides wonderful books. This lending library sources tools (yes, you read this correctly), museum passes, videos, eBooks, eAudio, and other resources beyond just books. You can even exchange clippings for plants. English literature they have stopped accepting books donation, and foreign language literatures, they would have to check, but most likely they won't accept. Be sure the foreign language books are educational and in mint condition. Inside the library was smaller than I thought, but it was cozy in each floor. Although the library is overall very quiet, I couldn't find an empty study room, during Summer vacation, and in the morning! Glad to see our younger generations still read and study!! Not only no study room available, but all seatings are occupied. Mix feeling ... I wonder how's it like during weekends. I decided to walk around before I left the library. So the next day we decided to check it out. This place blew us away. The modern architecture is stunning with different levels, and there is even a fireplace. There is also a room dedicated just for magazines with the most current issues. If you like movies the library has an impressive selection of DVDs. Even their restrooms have fancy Dyson faucets. There is a cafe as well. One of the upper levels offers a nice outdoor patio balcony. Good to see the tax dollars going back to the community. No matter how old you are, go get yourself a library card. There is a parking garage nearby. It's a great way to spend the day reading a book or two.

They have computers to find your books and they have general use computers. They have a large selection of movies to rent, CDs, some video games, and some comics and graphic novels. There's even a section to buy bargain books and usually some free advance copy or trade books lying around. The librarians are friendly, there's a few tables to read or do work at, and they have late hours at the beginning of the week. Overall, this library is small but resourceful.

Though it's a smaller library compared to East Brunswick, there is something for everyone. They have a decent children's section with a small play and game area, computers for the patrons to use, a quiet study room, young adult section, tons of DVDs, games, books on cds, magazines, and of course books! Sometimes I like coming here and perusing the book titles for a good read. They even have foreign language books and movies. There is a lot of seating, tables, and places to study or get your work done. The staff is helpful and nice. If you are a member of another library in Middlesex county, you can have other books or items shipped to this library and pick it up when it arrives. Super convenient! If you need to print something in color, it costs $.25! Such a good deal! Black & white are $.10 each. If you're not a fan of rambunctious tweens, I would avoid going here between 3-4PM during the weekdays. Most kids just don't know how to act in libraries. Love this place and am thankful for all they do for the community.

Well-endowed and well-furnished, EBPL has all of the library essentials--and then some:…read more *In-person passport services from an authorized passport application acceptance facility ($25 agency execution fee charged by EBPL in addition to renewal fee to the US DOS) *Café area with snack and coffee vending machines, magazines, and newspapers *Nintendo DS and PS3 games, anime DVDs, English-language graphic novels (trade paperback), audiobooks, and music CDs for rental *Foreign language books and newspapers *Youth services area with booth seating, power outlets, and computers *Dedicated rooms for quiet study, children's programming, and special events *Two self-service checkout stations I'm not terribly impressed with the old, tiled, poorly ventilated two-stall restrooms by the mystery section and the conference rooms. The parking lot at the main entrance has about 60 non-handicapped, non-temporary parking spaces, but is usually full in the afternoons and evenings. Overflow parking is available on the other side of the senior center and town hall, which are both in the same complex. Be prepared to yield to children, elderly pedestrians, and occasionally police cars.
