The ice cream is amazing here and the owner is so nice. Right around the corner from our favorite Italian restaurant in Cape May. So after dinner we stroll on by have our dessert. Oh and they have gluten free ice cream cones. Great flavors. read more

A lot of flavors to choose from. I had cappuccino caramel brownies. Very good with some chunks of brownies. Kid's size is one and a third scoops. Small size has 2 scoops. I didn't realize that they have moose track sugar free until I read the menu on the wall by the register area. I was told that they keep the sugar free at the back. It would be helpful if they have all the menu by the entrance read more

Our favorite ice cream shop whenever we come to Cape May! The ice cream is top notch, freshly made and they have so many fun toppings and flavors! Our daughter absolutely loved her strawberry ice cream and the owner, who was a total doll, gave her complimentary unicorn sprinkles which obviously made her whole day! He is always so sweet whenever we're there and clearly loves what he does as he is found in the shop day or night. He even gave us a warm towel to wipe her sticky little hands haha. Can't wait to come back again!! read more

Last summer this place was great. Recently I went to get a small cone for my wife. Asked for a kids cone of Rocky Road, and I was given half a scoop....literally the smallest amount you can imagine. And then they charged me $5.50 for it!!! I commented about the size/price and the girl just shrugged and said "you wanted a kids cone." I have no idea what they are thinking. Small portions, sky high prices, and lack of customer satisfaction are NOT a recipe for success. So it's back to Uncle Charlie's, on the Mall. I recommend you seek other ice cream than Scoops. read more

Cute, tiny ice cream shop in area lacking other options. There is a sign saying they serve Richman's ice cream which is a natural version of ice cream. Tonight i got the Brownie Sundae which I assumed would be like other places - a hot fudge Sundae on top of a fresh brownie. I was disappointed because it was a hot fudge sundae with minimally sprinkled brownie bits around it. The bits amounted to 1/4 of a standard brownie. These brownie bits were hard and tasted kind of stale. Should have been better for $9.25. Their Covid -19 response is good so maybe ill stop by again this summer to try something else. read more

Great spot for ice cream. Owner takes the Covid precautions seriously. Stopped in after dinner across the street at Exit Zero. Owner took our order and essentially said he could make us any kind of milkshake we wanted. The kids were thrilled, the ice cream was good, and the shakes were made to order and delicious. Owner brought them out to us outside after they were made for safety reasons. Great service & pricing wasn't horrible either. Definitely recommend! read more

Wonderful little place! (next to the liquor store on the parking lot) Had fun and so did the dogs. They loved the homemade Paws treats. Owner/server is funny nice guy. Loved watching all the bipeds and others dropping by. read more

Kudos to this owner and staff for taking COVID precautions seriously! Limiting customers in the store, safety dividers up, but terrific customer service. They're friendly, will joke with you, and not rush you. It may take you a few minutes - there's a lot to consider! Can't wait to come back next year. read more

On our way walking to dinner at Exit Zero Filling Station, by husband spotted this place. He happily informed me the sign said they had Malted Shakes. I LOVE a malted shake! This place didn't disappoint. I chose Tiramisu ice cream, and it was perfect! read more

Small little ice cream shop on the way to sunset beach . Great hand dipped ice cream . We stopped by to grab a cone and a cup . The portions were good and the ice cream was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful . Just your average ice cream shop done right . No extra frills or over the top extras . Just good ice cream and perfect to grab your favorite flavor and head to sunset beach. read more

Great little ice cream shop off the beat and path in cape may. I'd much rather take a couple minute drive out of my way to support this cute little shop than to fight the crowds on the strip. They had a great selection of ice cream, and everything was very reasonably priced for the shore. Peanut butter chocolate was our family's favorite. read more

This place was a solid ice cream shop. They had a lot of good flavors (I really liked the chocolate peanut butter and strawberry cheesecake) but the Sundaes were a little bit underwhelming. They tasted good but they were small and felt a bit too pricey (roughly $7.50) read more

Excellent ice cream place! My dad's favorite is a chocolate malted shake and he's quite the malt snob ;-) He said it's the best he's ever had. My mom's chocolate peanut butter was amazing and I got a mint choc chip shake which was also great! Tons of ice cream and creamy whole milk. Going again! Cute little place with character. read more

My nephew and I walked over before dinner to check out their flavors. While there, we met one of the owners. It's owned by a husband and wife who can be found dishing enuous out delicious flavors. We sampled three flavors each. The Salted Caramel Pretzel ice cream was out of this world!!! We went back after dinner and got two scoopsin a chocolate chip cookie cone . The cone was a whole other snack. This is a must visit ice cream shop. Thereare only 4 seats outside so be prepared . We'll be back for sure!!! read more

We popped in here at about 8:30 on the Tuesday right after Labor Day, and thus were spared the trouble of trying to do a drive-by ice cream experience to one of the more inaccessible places on the mall, like B&J or Uncle Charlie's. We were able to park right in front of the shop in the convenient parking lot. We were surprised, because online we saw that it was supposed to be closed on Tuesdays. Apparently that is a stupid mistake that occurred randomly, and which the owner has been trying to correct for ages. They are open on Tuesdays! I am not sure when I have had Richman's ice cream before, but they have so many fun flavors that I like that it was hard to decide on just 2. My companion and I each got a single scoop--this is a very large serving, which you can have divided into 2 flavors. One of mine was peanut butter swirl, and it was about the best iteration of that flavor I have ever encountered. The ice cream was fresh, delicious, and impeccable in every way. The affable owner was chatty and we would have liked to return for the next several nights running, but vacation was over! Thank you, Scoops, for being open at night and for being such a fun little ice cream shop. (They also offer floats and shakes and such--maybe next year.) read more

Cute place! Good ice cream selection, lots of sundaes, milkshakes and floats. It's on the small side, very limited outside only seating and limited parking but it's in fair walking distance from most of West Cape May. It's in the cute shopping area of that section of town. I had the salted Carmel chocolate covered pretzel sundae. It was very good I love chocolate covered pretzels, I just wish there was more in the sundae but the other toppings were delicious. My husband had a vanilla/orange float, it was basic but good. The servers who I think may have been the owners were very friendly!! read more

If you're looking for a decent selection of ice cream and a wide variety of options this is for sure a go to! EXTREMELY SMALL. The price wasn't too bad, $14.00 and change. The waffle cone is one dollar more. When we walked in the gentleman told us, "We are known for quantity. I am able to do two half scoops for one whole scoop if you're not looking for too much ice cream." We both ordered two scoops seen in the picture attached and we got WAY MORE than we expected. When he specifically was dishing out my mint chocolate chip ice cream I noticed he had to of dipped his scooper in four times bringing out large scoops each time. Although, aesthetically it is not the greatest sight. There are only four tables with two chairs each outside. The only reason it is missing the last star is because the ice cream is not homemade. We will be returning next year if it still resides, fingers crossed. We recommended this to three women on our walk back to our hotel and we will continue to advocate for this shop. read more

Large portions! Each cup in this photo is just two scoops! Large scoops at decent prices is rare for an ice cream palor in a vacation town. They serve Richmonds Ice Cream, which is always fresh and has that rich, homemade, creamy taste underscoring all their flavors and tastes like summer. The owner, Chuck, patiently waited as my sister, teen-age niece, her friend and I tried to figure out what we wanted. He made suggestions based on what we usually like. He was extremely friendly and gracious. It's nice when an owner appreciates your business. I'll definitely be going back! I recommend Scoops! read more

The best part of this ice cream shop is ... the ice cream! It seems to be very rich with nice milk fat content. They have a good assortment of flavors, lots of toppings and about 5 different kinds of cones. They offer an impressive sundae menu with plenty of unique creations. They also have water ice, but I didn't try that. A must try is the salted caramel flavor ice cream..... Wow! Downside is that it's small and has no indoor seating. They have a few seats outside, but theres a nice park across the street with plenty of benches. The owner was there when I went - and that's a good sign that he is involved in the operation. read more

FFC serves Bassetts Ice Cream, I'm not familiar with the brand but apparently their cream content is higher than average so how bad can that be? They have several flavors to choose from, as well as a number of toppings, sundae combinations, and milkshakes. I decided to go with Moose Tracks in a cone - I was able to choose the number of scoops I wanted (I got two), as well as the type of cone I wanted. The ice cream was really good - super creamy with lots of peanut butter cups and fudge; the moose were stampeding. Service was also great - I was taken care of promptly and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Overall, this was a yes - with the plethora of ice cream spots in the area, FFC stands out by serving high quality product in a fun and inviting atmosphere. I would definitely return the next time I find myself in Cape May.
