After I paid him upfront for the parts (didn't have an issue with that) on August 22, I was told he would have the parts by Tuesday the 9th of September (18 days after supposedly ordering them, but okay)... I texted him on Wednesday the 10th asking when I should expect him. He texted back said he had been sick and asked if Friday the 12th would work. Told him sure. Friday comes and he doesn't show. I text him back and no response. This continues through the ENTIRE following week with no response from him. He finally shows up on the 19th (nearly an entire month after we first agreed he would do the job). I paid him via CashApp for the labor and figured that was the end of the situation. When he left, I was happy, finally had some air conditioning in the truck. My happiness was short-lived, because by Monday it was back to blowing hot air (no freon). So of course, I texted him and finally Wednesday the 24th he said he would try to get to me by the weekend (26-27 September), of course that didn't happen. He texted me again on the 29th saying he would "try and make it today".... Finally on the 30th of September he made it back over to redo his work. Everything since then was fine until last Sunday, May the 17th. The AC started blowing hot air again (obviously the system has sprung another leak). I've attempted to contact him via text every day since then with absolutely no response. Oh, and for those of you wondering why I'm texting him instead of calling, he doesn't answer the phone and hasn't even bothered to set up a voicemail. If you have an AC issue, find someone else. I'm fed up with this nonsense. Thinking about small claims court, but at this point I just need some AC.

I had to wait a day or so but I was definitely in a bind. They even put air in my tires which I was very grateful for knowing the tire pressure was off too. Only problem with this shop is that it is in the Gwinnett County part of Doraville and if you don't have a ride to pick you up or drop you off you are stuck with the Gwinnett County bus or a taxi. I called about waiting for an oil change and was told that I could drop it off and come back later in the day which was not convient for me not having a ride to or from the shop. All in all I would use the shop again for minor repair work.

I've been looking for a local shop to take the bikes to whenever they needed work beyond normal servicing. I was tired of the treatment I'd been getting at a certain fancy multi-brand factory dealer (they never answered their phone, always had to leave a message with their automated system and wait for them to call back, long turnaround times for repairs, not willing to discuss repair cost or possible issues over the phone, always saying "you have to bring it in" and charging a diagnostic fee, etc). So when I needed carburetor work on the scooter I decided to give Doraville Motorcycle a shot. I called and an actual person answered the phone; I explained the issues I was having, he was very helpful in going over what could be wrong and assured me that they could take care of me at a fair price. I took the bike into the shop on Tuesday afternoon, and they called Wednesday at lunch to tell me it was ready. It was running better than ever when I picked it up and it cost me less than the diagnostic fee at the fancy dealer. The shop personnel were friendly, helpful, knew their stuff, and seemed genuinely grateful for my business. They work on all makes and models, so if you're looking for a great place to get work done at a good price you should definitely go here. Never disclosed until we asked who was this calling about the work we asked you to do. George as very rude & disrespectful person did not handle anything correctly. This guy Chris showed up late, he was rude, broke a tool, left my keys in the car with doors unlocked & parts gone with him for dang near an hour. Had to call George bc his guy didn't answer George made excuse after excuse for this man, so much so it was disgusting. Ao I asked George so it's acceptable for your men to leave a customers keys in an unlocked car without letting them know you gotta run off? He can handle any modern issue and knows how to fix cars of any year (though he focuses on post-2000 models).
