I thought this was a good shop, they do good work and use OEM parts but I have to report this because it is important. I took my car in for an estimate and the price was very high so I chose to go elsewhere. When I went to the next shop they showed me that Lawrenceville Auto Center had not tightened all the lug nuts on my front tires. 3 of my 5 lug nuts on the front tires were almost completely off. I could have been dead if I went on the highway. This is really not cool. Dangerous. You should not have to check that sort of thing when you drive out of a shop. I paid a diagnostic fee of $60., it's not like I was expecting the world for nothing. I felt that this shop was trustworthy and now I am very disappointed. read more

I have used them for brake replacement, oil changes, sensor replacement, AC compressor replacement, and a few other minor items. I took my son's vehicle here to be repaired. Quoted almost $1500. Took it to a Napa Auto Center location & got it repaired for $1000 for the same repairs quoted... $500 less Decided to give them another chance & take another vehicle to them. They quoted $2600 in repairs. Took that same vehicle to the same Napa auto center I took my son's vehicle for the same repairs & vehicle was repaired for $1200. $1400 less. They are really up charging & price gauging! It's not that repairs are getting higher it's that they are just up charging the repairs! I will never bring my vehicles to them again. I advise you all to find a napa auto care center they are trustworthy & reasonable & gets the job done! They treat their customers right! Save your money & go elsewhere!!! Zero.... Zero star review It very disappointed and unprofessional business and doesn't know how apology and not taking job seriously and such a big lier as well. On April 28,2021 2:17 come here for head light bulb replacement service. They took all my information like Name, Phone and Address. I asked them how long and they said "couple hour." I said, how many couple hours. They said, 2-3 hours. As for price, they said they gonna call me. So I wait their call but they never call so I hour and 32 minute later ( 3:52PM). I call the shop kindly to see if they already done or if they know the price or anything I should know because I need car for work. They told me to wait patiently and said they will call. I even double check if they had my number. However, I never received a call from them at all and they close at 6:00. They should had kindly apology and call me that they can't work on it today. I drive there to check on it but they already close down with my car key in their hands. Somehow, they had other door open and went inside to asked about it. Their respond was " who you talk to". They don't call me and they patented like they don't know about it and they don't even apology to me. They could had call me if they could not done the work or when I come in but they spoke unprofessional and act like they don't even had my car keys. read more

I am more disappointed at this business than angry that they tried to rip me off. As a local auto repair shop, I decided to take my care there for repair and not the dealership. I wanted to support local business because I know they may be struggling because of Coronavirus. They quoted me $1400 to replace a fuel sensor. He said the part alone would cost $1000. That did not sound right so, Google to the rescue. I Google the average cost to replace the fuel sensor and I Google the cost of the part. The part cost was $300. I also called the dealership to ask how much the part cost. With all the information I had about the repair I called the shop back to give them a chance to adjust the price, maybe they made a mistake and quoted me the wrong part. He doubled down and said he gave me the lowest price and do not give out his part numbers so I could verify it is the same part Lexus quoted me. When he said he do not give out his part numbers I knew at that point he was definitely trying to rip me off. Very disappointed that they did not think I would google the cost and very disappointed that with everyone struggling now they would try to rip me off. I took my car to dealership and they charged me $1000 for the repair and that included $160 to do the diagnosis. read more

If I could, I would give this place negative stars. I brought my car to LAC for an oil change service. Since I knew the rear brakes needed replacement, I waited until they informed me and I allowed them to replace my rear brake pads and rotors. Months later, the car was serviced at the dealership and they stated the rear brakes were bad and needed to be replaced. Since this service was performed months earlier at LAC, I immediately contacted them. Of course, they were surprised and started a long line of questions. I drove the car to them and they had the technician to drive it for 10 minutes which in my opinion wasn't necessary. Anyone could look at the brake pads and see they needed replacing. I spoke to the son who claimed to be the manager and stated I wanted the brakes replaced. He was rude, unprofessional and quick tempered, so I asked for the owner who is his Dad. His Dad came, talked to me and I expressed the attitude and poor customer service his son showed towards me. He offered to replace the brakes, but by this time, I knew I'd never bring my car back to this place. After the replacement, the technician drove it again against my wishes. When I drove away, I immediately begin to hear a noise. I thought if the technician drove it twice I'm pretty certain he'd have heard this noise. I took the car to another mechanic and they commented the noise is due to the replacement of bad quality brakes and rotors that were not lubed. They lubed them and the noise level was reduced, but it's still noticeably loud. They expressed the only way to alleviate the noise is to replace the brakes. I'm not doing that until they are worn. Not only did LAC initially place low quality brakes on my car, but they were worn within months, then provided poor service when replacing them and now they have again placed poor quality parts on my car. I'd never recommend this place. read more

I found a great new place to take my car and get fixed. Everyone there was helpful. They made me feel part of a family. I trust them instantly. I did not feel like I was taken advantage of. Steven and Lindsey made me comfortable and explained what needed to be done and I did not feel pressured. The honesty and patience was a great feeling to have, since in the past, most mechanics or the shop just wants you to spend money on things that is not really needed. Terrible Experience. My car needed a new engine. I was told by Scott that he was somewhat of a Miata expert and had actually raced Miatas for over a decade. I asked if they could do the repair and was told yes and to bring my car into the shop, which I did. Later in the day, they called and said they couldn't do the job because they "couldn't find the parts" for a 2006 Miata. I was able to find SIX warrantied engine kits, from licensed businesses in under 30 minutez and was told by over a dozen other repair shops that the parts were extremely easy to acquire. He said they wouldn't use customer supplied parts so I offered to give him the contact info for the parts providers and told him that I understood they would be marking it up from the price I was quoted as a profit line. Instead of having my car repaired they charged me $89.95 and sent me home with my car in the same condition I brought it in. COMPLETE and TOTAL RIP-OFF. May as well have taken my $ and flushed it down the toilet. read more

Great work at a great price. I took my vehicle in for work as it would not pass emissions. I has already had 2 diagnostics done and knew what work was needed. They didn't pressure me to do another diagnostic, they went with what I asked for with no problem. They charged less than half of what I was quoted at pep boys and had my car ready in a timely manner. I used a coupon that I received in the mail which had several different offers. They signed the one I used and returned the flyer back to me since the other coupons were still valid! Great service at the desk, knowledgeable lovely lady. Lawrenceville Auto Center (LAC) is a great car shop. They fixed a big problem in my car that no car shop in Alabama fixed. There was a crack in my oil pump, which apparently is quite uncommon for the car I drive ( 2003 Honda Civic) The cost was a bit expensive, but this is the first shop to have found the real problem. When I was in Alabama, the Midas I went to said my oil pan gasket needed to be replaced. Lawrenceville Auto Center (LAC), however, found the real problem, and now my car isn't leaking oil. I highly recommend this auto shop to anyone. I plan to continue seeing LAC for my car maintenance. read more
