Not only well known works as…read morethe up coming Addams Family the Musical, new works as The Area between Us written by Ashlyn Frank , a variety of children's shows and, as well , a combined effort murder mystery in a church for a fundraiser. Sin & Gin was a fun and cute performance of a 1920s theme murder mystery. It took place in the Saint Ann's Church in Saville NY, as a combined effort of the Church, along with People's Arc of Suffolk . The write up is a service for Edith Corse Evans' a fellow member who had died 10 years before, who heroically gave up her seat for her friend on the Titanic (Edith was a real person who gave up her seat for Caroline Brown) when one seat on the life boat was left, knowing she had children to go home to. As in most stories this one had name changes. (You know; when you see that list at the end noting any resemblance to real people is strictly coincidence) The Cast who I must applaud all stayed in character, no matter what questions that I asked them. They and many of the parishioners who came to pay their respects, were also dressed in 1920s attire. Of course after the service, a FRONT, they sneakily took a trip to the back River Room where all kinds of things happened including a rousing evening of booze, jazz and ---MURDER! (See pix + Videos) Dinner was included in the ticket price of $75.00. As was one complimentary glass of wine or beer, courtesy of Loughlin Vineyards with an open cash bar for more. For the fund raiser they also had tickets for purchase a 50/50 a door prize basket and other raffle baskets. CM Performing Center is one of the Long Island theaters for live performances. I had a Terrible experience with one of the Staff Workers at Branches of Longisland in Middle…read moreIsland Ny.Branches is a place we can come for Help.Every time I go there I show nothing but Kindness &Appreciation for the Help for My Children.This one tone that I couldn't get a ride there I called and explained my situation the young lady told me to sign up again in two weeks.Ive made a request online normally I would get a text or call this time I did not receive one.I called back a young lady was very rude as if being that I couldn't get my food package two weeks she scolded me as if I shouldn't come back anymore that's how rude she was on the phone.She tells me she would call me back.I haven't heard one thing back from anyone two weeks later.I made a review Online about what happened.This lady Samantha replied .I literally had to make a review to get a response.Shes telling me going online is not going to fix anything.She was just as rude as the young lady on the phone Most likely it was her on the phone.She goes to say I should've called back.Ive called a Dozen times had left Voicemails they would not pick up.This is Horrible To be treated by the same ones that say they are here to help.I tried to respond back online to her Message Of course I was not able.Maybe just Maybe they will change their attitudes and be the Kind ,Supportive Team They have Portrayed Online.Thank you

Such a wonderderful location that truly services Autistic students…read more Had a wonderful time today helping to host a mini indoor carnival for the students and teachers/aids. Happy to hear that they are aiding Autistic students from all around the island and a few from Queens. Hopefully this location continues to flourish for all those that need. Thanks to the leaders/teachers and aids for allowing me to create moments of happiness for the children today. I mean who doesn't love a bounce house. :)

As a first time parent of a 7 month old during the height of Covid, needless to say, I was a bit…read morenervous about sending my son to day care, on top of the fact that I was dreading not getting to spend every day with him; but working from home while taking care of him was no longer possible. The first few weeks were hard (mostly for me), but the teachers and staff at Shalom made the transition process seamless. After 10 months at Shalom, I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. The safety precautions they have in place ease my mind each day when I drop Jack off; and the joyful squeal of "school" or "April" (his teacher's name) as we pull up in front of the building lets me know how much Jack enjoys his days there. His teachers have taught him to say "more" in sign language, to draw and paint, to sing and dance to a variety of kids songs, and to play nicely with his friends. Shalom is a warm and caring environment - from the top down. The Directors, Michele and Providence, are warm and welcoming and clearly care about all of the Shalom families. Not only do they run the school incredibly well, but they have given me parenting tips. If you are looking for an amazing experience for you and your children, Shalom is definitely the right place.

We did my daughter's birthday at the sayville location and it was amazing. They were easy to work…read morewith, great communication and the best part is the studio is all yours for the party. We did the 3D silhouettes and it was a big hit with the kids. Would highly recommend! We loved it so much, we signed our daughter up for a few sessions during camp! Once they opened up a second location in Ronkonkoma, we followed because my daughter loved it to much. She did a tween night out as well as a few crafts with family. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

They have a whole store in the front with tons of cute projects to do at home or that are finished for sale. I liked that you could pick what you wanted to do and not necessarily everyone in your group had to do the same thing. My friend and I decided to do the sleds for Christmas. It was so much fun and they came out great. The woman helping us was so friendly and really walked us through each step while giving us plenty of space to talk and do what she told us. I would highly recommend for something different to do that you can continue to use as decor at home.

Today's visit to this Small building- Sr. Community Center on Grumman Road West off of South Oyster…read morebay Road, down road some and in back of big parking lot area, brought us to the LI Model Train show and Trainville Hobby Depot, Owned by Barbara and Joe. There were a few signs posted to follow to the location. Handicap door not working but there was a young guard diligently helping people in and out. Sign-in area pay 7 dollars per adult. 2 raffle tickets to fill in and drop by back table where Jim was working. ( see pix) Some displays of various miniature trains and one very nice trolley set up through the Long Island Traction Society. At another display Ryan shared with me the bottle used for smoke ( mineral oil safe) coming out of the caboose. Even miniature Winnie the Pooh and T- ig- GER Too. Some trains had holiday themes as Valentine's Day and Saint Patrick's Day. Flyers were given out for other scheduled dates as well as Oyster Bay Railroad Museum info.
