Anyway, I came in looking for empty boxes the other day, as we were about to start packing up my recently-deceased mother-in-law's place. I walked up to the first employee I saw, a little hipster-type fella with a teenager's beard and what I'm sure were some very meaningful arm tattoos. I didn't catch his name, so let's call him "Chad". I asked Chad if I could get some boxes for the move. He sighed, did a full-body eye-roll, gestured to a ceiling-high stack of boxes near the exit, and said "Yeah, but they're for PAYING customers, only." So, whatever. Not going to argue with Chad over wine boxes, so I bought a couple of beers, and headed over to the tower of boxes. Chad then says "We ask that you limit yourself to THREE boxes, sir." So, yeah, screw Chad, screw Chad's wispy-ass beard, and screw anywhere that hires hipster jackasses like Chad. I've been getting boxes for moving from liquor stores for decades, and until Chad, I'd never once been asked to pay for removing what is, essentially, garbage. Today, I went to Super 1 in West Duluth, and they were not only helpful and cool, but they let us have all the boxes we needed. Yanno, because they're EMPTY BOXES. I didn't even need any beer, but I bought some, anyway.

He is almost 40 years old, so I asked what he did there. This man is extremely unprofessional and needs to treat every customer equally. I do not want to be disrespected when I simply go to buy a product at this store. I will never be back to this establishment and have told many about my experiences here in the past years. I'll pay more money to get my things at a place where the cashiers are actually respectful to their customers.
