TV with a show I like, Jeff's cool art, supplies, and some oddities as decor.

I had an amazing experience with Jeff and I love my new tattoo! I was drawn to Scorpio Rising Tattoo with Jeff Clark through his beautiful art-style, featuring grey-scale and clean line work. If you get a tattoo from him, I would recommend allowing him to make the original sketch in this style because it is very unique and striking. Jeff really genuinely excited to make beautiful art you will love and that is exactly what you want in a tattoo artist. Jeff was actually able to get me in earlier than my original appointment due to a schedule change. I booked through his website's application form. It was easy to use and he reached out to be in less than the 48 hours he promised on his website. I recommend making a collage of a few inspirations of yours and attaching it as a file. There is also a place to write a description. After he reached out we discussed the design. I paid $100 deposit towards the tattoo to hold the appointment, which is standard. A few days before the appointment, Jeff sent me the design for my feedback. I had one feature that I wanted to change and he seemed very enthusiastic about creating a beautiful piece for me. On the day of, I honestly made him move the position and angles around a lot on my body; obviously, with a permanent body ornament you want to make sure you will enjoy the way it looks on your body, but since it takes a while it can be annoying for some tattoo artists- Jeff was super cool about working with me to do several placements of the stencil, small tweaks, was patient while I thought about it, etc. I know some people have so much anxiety about speaking up that they don't and this can be magnified by any intentional or unintentional annoyance by the artist- Jeff, on the other hand, very happily and patiently to take the time to tweak it last minute for me, after my earlier email feedback. His current location at 615 Congress St. is very private, comfortable, and clean. He had music and a tv show that I liked playing to distract me while I sat for the tattoo itself. This isn't my real name and I am a woman. I personally felt very completely comfortable with Jeff tattooing even my upper leg, alone in his studio, even as a woman who has experienced violence against men in the past. The studio is private and there is plenty of place for a friend to be comfortable in a sitting area nearby, if that makes you more comfortable. Actually, one of his featured tattoos is a beautiful Medusa portrait, which has become popular among women who have experienced SA and use Medusa as a figure of defiance and strength in the face of that trauma. During the tattoo itself he was very efficient, checked in with me often, made sure I was comfortable. The tattoo is probably about 14 inches or so with a good amount of detail and shading and the entire process (after applying the final stencil we used) only took about three hours. Jeff consistently offered to either take breaks, stop for the day, or continue. My personal preference was to get it all done in one shot so it can just heal once and be all set and I can just hurry up and enjoy it. Jeff had no problem busting it out incredibly efficiently- my back would have been killing me and my hand would have been cramping for sure. He gave me detailed aftercare instructions and told me how his tattoos heal best and emailed me the photos he took of the finished product for his accounts. The tattoo itself is so beautiful and I could not be happier (unless it would stop itching while its healing haha)! I would and very likely will go to Scorpio Rising again in the future for another piece. Jeff is great to work with. I recommend bringing a cash for a tip. Super surprised with the one negative review that I have seen on here because my experience was entirely different. I am sad to see what in my opinion is an excellent new business have their yelp average messed with. Jeff Clark is a five star tattoo artist for sure!

Jeff did a wonderful job with my tattoo. He resigned the tattoo I sent him to the way I exactly wanted it. He even offered to touch up my tattoo that was above the one he was doing. I would 100% recommend him!

Looking for an experienced piercer who is going to do it right the first time? Feel confident Caleb…read moreis that person. My experience: I have had multiple piercings done by Caleb my conch and both nipples. I honestly couldn't be happier the advice he gave for healing and aftercare. He was thorough and the shop had a premade card to go home, it included all post care instructions. My nipple piercings are perfectly straight and the bar selection was spot on. He was extremely professional and kind and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. (To add some context, I had one inverted nipple that he was able to still pierce and it honestly solved that issue forever. He mentioned generally he wont do nipple piercings on inverted nipples but if its not severe it may still be possible. Get a consultation if your concerned.) My conch was done with a hoop which I switched to a labret to heal and now that its healed I put a clicker ring in. The environment was clean the materials used were top notch and sterile. There was privacy when needed. Props to them for doing it all with passion for the art. Planning to go back to him for a few more piercings very soon. (rook & anti tragus & maybe a forward helix) Wanting more is what reminded me to write a review! Hope this helps someone decide to go get that piercing they have been thinking about! Its worth going to a professional. PLEASE don't do it yourself.
