This place had very few pump stations and an oddly tight parking lot for cars. It was the only place on our cross-country trip where we had to wait for a pump. Restrooms were dinged up, but clean. Quite limited selection of food--reminded me of what truck stops used to offer 10-15 years ago (e.g., no salads or hard boiled eggs, etc. for healthy road meals/snacks) Has an IHOP and Papa John's attached.

A simple purchase less than $10.. and "something is wrong with the machine..."... she tells my to try the card again... I do & "Something is wrong with the machine" so we try the card one more time.. and it works... no issue - seemingly.. Minutes later.. I get a alert from my bank as I do with all my charges.. for fraud protection.. but i get an alert from my bank that there are two charges... so I go back in the store to let them know my card was charged twice. This is where Katie "now the manager" and a fellow "employee" now try to convince me that the charge is pending and "usually falls off" as if they do this on a regular... I have my wife on the phone with me who looks it up & says they are not a pending, they are actual charges... Katie "the manager" still trying to convince & I say "yes pending does fall off.. but these have POSTED... so Katie "now the manager" then gets HIGHLY frustrated that I have caught her SCHEME and just GIVES me my money back... now IF it was pending ... why would she give me back my money so fast??? Truckers DOUBLE CHECK your bank account after leaving here... ESPECIALLY if they claim an issue w their machine & make you insert your card over & over.. "Someone" is skimming the business.

I had gotten gas here in my RV with my boyfriend who was driving our car (also got gas). We wanted to grab lunch at the fast food place next door. Weigel's auto area and the fast food place could not accommodate my RV so I parked back by the trucks. There were other vehicles parked back there initially. I was far enough away from the diesel pumps that vehicles could go by. I walked my dogs and my partner came back and we were going to eat quickly and leave. A trucker informed me that I was blocking his way (despite multiple open diesel gas lanes) so I told him we'd move our vehicles. We began packing up, when we had a loud knock on the door. A Weigel's worker aggressively told us to open up the door. We attempted to inform him that we were trying to get our dogs away so they couldn't get out when he said, "I don't give a fu** what you have going on here. You've been here too long and you're blocking my gas lanes." We attempted to inform him that we were already packing up to move when he said, "Go the f**k back to Oregon or wherever the f**k you came from." Now I am not denying that we shouldn't have been parked in that area. All I'm saying is that this employee could've informed us politely to leave and that we weren't allowed to park there. The hostility we were met with was ridiculous. Any company that would hire an employee who talks like that to their costumers, but also just people in general should be condemned. I will inform every person I know to NEVER visit one of these places. What a horrible experience.
