I don't think they tried to lie about anything but I don't think they went out of their way to explain everything. I read all 100+ pages of our loan information and there were things in there no one bothered mentioning and I wouldn't have known about had I not read them. On the other hand I don't think any other company I could have worked with would have told me any more than First Colony did. So as far as a business goes, I would consider working with them again. As far as being the best business to work with, I don't know if there is such a thing. It's business and every business is in business for one thing, money. The loan officer I worked with was professional and kind and answered all my questions promptly and professionally.
