I can if you want me to..." in a tone that clearly said, I don't want to be bothered. After he said that a few more times, when it was obvious that, yes! I want it fixed, I just said, "I'll call someone else." I get that it's not fun to be on call or work on a weekend. I worked nearly every weekend for 28 years and spent many nights on call. But Dude...either do it or don't. Don't practically beg me to let you off the hook. This and a previous long episode of poor service has made me decide to permanently let Whitehead and Hancock off the hook.

When placing an order online, I requested a shipping change: if they could refund their shipping charge (which would have covered standard UPS Ground), they could instead ship using my own UPS account via 2nd Day Air. I followed up with a phone call to confirm and clearly stated that if it was too much trouble, just use their regular ground shipping and ignore the change. Over the phone, they confirmed the order would ship via UPS Ground using their free shipping. However, after the item shipped using my UPS account, I was told they could not refund their shipping cost -- despite the fact that I was eligible for free ground shipping in the first place. I spoke with the same person again, who gave no clear explanation as to why a refund couldn't be issued. This is a small business, not a large corporate chain, yet they act as if they have no flexibility or accountability. This isn't about small $10 shipping charge -- it's about honesty and doing the right thing. They profit by refusing to refund money they shouldn't have charged, and then hide behind a false lack of options. Unprofessional and dishonest. I strongly recommend staying away.

I originally called Meyer Plumbing in Brooks. Did not realize that Meyer Plumbing was no longer in…read morebusiness and Tom Sondergeld Plumbing had taken over the business. This new company is extremely over priced! Service call $250 includes first hour of service. The second hour is $175. These prices do not include the use of any equipment. So to snake a drain between a washer machine and the A/C unit which is the same room with a drain cost $575. I HIGHLY recommend looking else where. I deal with many plumbing companies having multiple properties and this is the worst I have ever experienced! It's my fault for not realizing I was not dealing with Meyer Plumbing who was a very honest and reliable company. I can not say the same about Tom Sondergeld Plumbing. Yes you are correct I was quoted the price of $250 for the service call which includes first hour. I was NEVER quoted there would be an equipment fee which was $150. I have never used a plumber where the equipment to snake out a drain was an additional charge. Your Service Tech did come the same day but that was not my asking. Apparently you had openings. Checking around town the average cost is $102.61 - $125.63 per hour for drainage stop ups. Your cost of $287.50 per hour may be average to you but seems extremely high to me.

Let's just start this with I just got billed over $1000 to clear a drain!!!! Yes you read that…read moreright and that's after the "took care of the bill." Keep in mind this is a residential drain and they didn't need to dig or cut into anything. This is absurd but it gets worse, the drain they were supposed to clear, leads to my dishwasher and they seen it needed a new hose SO I HAD THEM REPLACE IT. Now it can't/won't drain and will only throws an error code. Taking it further they just blame the appliance, take no responsibility, and then try and convince you that they are an amazing company and did an awesome job. THEY EVEN PUT ON MY RECIEPT "EVERYTHING WORKING AS IT SHOULD"........ DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!
