I was in the area and I knew he could help with the very bad muscle strain in my back. The one think I know for sure, is that Kan will reduce my pain by 50 per cent the first time around. That has been my experience. Yesterday was no exception to the rule. Kan goes above and beyond to help his patients. He is very caring, compassionate, professional, and trustworthy. I recommend Kan very highly for many ailments that may be causing anyone unnecessary pain and discomfort. He also has some great herbal formulations that has helped me throughout the 8 years that I've been going to see him. Kan works fervently during the acupuncture session to ensure that he's doing everything within his power to alleviate my pain. He also uses moxa and cupping to help in the process. I especially love the moxa, as it truly does help with painful muscle strains. The other attractive factor about seeing Kan, is the fact that his prices are very reasonable in comparison to other acupuncture practices in the area. He spends a lot of time with me every time, to ensure that he has alleviated my pain. I've called other places to see about their prices when I've been unable to see Kan, and those prices are just too expensive in comparison to Kan's prices. I will continue to see Kan whenever I'm in pain. I only wish I could go afford to go at least once or even twice a week. While trying to get pregnant the second time around she told me to see her at Stepping Stone for Arvigo therapy and now that I'm pregnant I see her monthly for therapeutic massages. Hi there, Just…read morewanted to give a review so that people are aware of what kind of acupuncture is done here so you know ahead of time and can decide if it's for you. This practitioner starts off with a 2-hour intake, and of note, during this two-hour intake, the purpose of this first meeting is to get your full history in detail. Needling time is brief, 15 mins or less. Some other techniques like cupping or scraping may be used as well. The rest of the time is spent prepping you for the needling- ie marking the points with a marker beforehand, using a measuring tape to find the various points to mark, checking your pulses every 10 minutes or so and recording the results, etc. Also the practitioner stays in the room. This practitioner is undoubtedly very good at her craft and is obviously an excellent healer and helps many people for whom she is a good fit. For me, it wasn't a good fit because I prefer to be left alone to nap/relax and longer needle-in time, but doesn't mean her style isn't effective for others. This practitioner is a very lovely human, caring and easy to talk to. I appreciated her thoroughness and genuineness.

During my pregnancy and after the birth of my son, I experienced a serious illness.
