The shrub work went well but the detaching job was not complete. Most of my lawn is still sporting the thatch and moss I had asked them to remove. When we discussed the quality of the detach work, the there was no offer to complete the work to my satisfaction, just excuses about the thickness of the moss/thatch. When I bid out work, I am careful to price appropriately and finish the job to my client's satisfaction. I don't think that either of those tenets were followed by Harmon and Sons. I was offered a discount on the price which I took as a quick way out, but to me, the money I gave them was wasted because I still need to pay someone else to have the work done. Overall, communications were weak once we came to agreement on scope of work and price with workers showing up without any notice.
