However, my own experience with the practice has been incredibly frustrating. Despite booking an appointment months in advance (7 months), I was repeatedly rescheduled and delayed my visit without adequate notice. The lack of communication and the inability to see my preferred provider was disheartening. It's particularly concerning that the office failed to inform patients about Dr. Edele's departure most recently, leaving us in the dark. Furthermore, the high turnover rate of providers, such as the recent departure of another doctor who was only employed for a year, raises serious questions about the stability and management of the practice. The long wait times on the phone and the overall unprofessionalism of some staff members further detracted from the experience. While I understand that medical practices can be busy, effective communication is essential, especially when significant changes impact patients' care. Based on my interactions with Manella Family Practice, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone. The lack of respect for patients' time, the poor communication skills of the staff, and the high turnover rate of providers are major red flags. I hope this review helps others make informed decisions about their healthcare providers. Where are you Dr Edele?

I booked my appointment three weeks prior via his website, which connects you to the scheduling and filing system known as zoc doc. Zoc Doc allows you to conveniently schedule appointments and also complete all required paper work before arriving, including insurance card information. Today 8/27/15, I drove 40 minutes from my house in Aventura to dr. Bratter's office in Miramar. When I walked into the office to sign in, there was an older lady at the front desk with pink scrubs on. Strike 1: While I was signing in, she never once looked up to say hello or even acknowledge me. I signed in and sat down. Strike 2: About two minutes later- the same lady called me to the window handing me a clipboard full of papers to complete. I advised her that I filled those forms out online, clearly she had not bothered to read that on the sign in sheet. Strike 3: She proceeded to tell me since I completed online that there was only one form I needed to complete and then asked me for my ID and insurance card. She then holds up my Blue Cross Florida Blue card and tells me they do not take my insurance. Really? My irritation level immediately increased. Not only did I book weeks in advance, but I also completed all required paperwork online. It is not evident that his office staff does not even bother to review these things ahead of time. I received a confirmation call yesterday from another lady in the office (one day before my appointment) and also two or three text messages as reminders. Yet, no one could tell me in insurance was not accepted until I walked into the office. In My opinion, this is unacceptable and a complete waste of my time. I do not doubt that Dr. Bratter is a good doctor, u fortunately I will never know. However, his front desk personnel need to be a little more personable and helpful. What is the point of completing paperwork and insurance information before hand if it goes untouched. Very disappointing.
