My experience with the doctor and his wife as secretary was horrible I am under the impression he is all about the money and does not care for his patients well-being I had an issue with his prescription he wrote and he said he would not rewrite it and I was stuck with no medication after paying him $300. When I called his office him and his wife were very rude. When I asked him to rewrite the prescription and send it to a different pharmacy he said he does not do that and hung the phone up on me. When I called back I told his wife I was not happy and I would write a review and she said if I write a review do not come back to their office ever again and she hung up on me. I went with to see Dr. Jaffe with My fiancée who really wanted to stop drinking. We found Dr Jaffe to be knowledgeable and professional & his wife who is the receptionist was also very pleasant and helpful. I will not give them one star not only has she been an evil person to me. The reception is Dana and caused me not to come there to get my medicine. My friend Stephanie is a surviving cancer patient and is having financial problems right now. Was a few minutes late to her appointment and then she tried to charge her $50 because she was late to her appointment not only has she done this once but she's done this several times to her so this clinic has not about recovery meds. The receptionist (the doctor's wife) is extremely rude and hung up on me when trying to solve a problem for a friend. They charged for a visit that was cancelled, then for a telehealth that never happened. They then put the charges on my charge card for the friend, unauthorized. They were told to call before doing that. They are not reputable. They told me my friend relapsed which is not true and they never saw or spoke to him. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! These people are just hungry money making people. They take no care or interest at all in their patients. I had been going to Dr. Jaffe for approximately 10 years and he decided to make his wife the receptionist/office manager who is the most rude person I have ever met in my entire life. Having been a longtime loyal patient, I continued to go anyway but it got to the point that her nastiness became unbearable. She's fake, NOT nice, condescending, unaccommodating, and RUDE! I have been a patient of Dr. Jaffe for over a year. The experience has not always been seamless, there have been a number of errors in properly inputting prescriptions that caused confusion and delay when trying to pick up the prescribed medications. However, the largest issue is the office staff. My last experience was a phone consultation, the office was over 30 minutes late in returning my 9 AM call. Even then they could not guarantee that I would speak with the doctor before my availability ran out. Nonetheless, they insisted on payment before placing me on hold to speak to the doctor. When I offered to pay after I had spoken to the doctor the office manager became angry, abruptly informed me my appointment was canceled, and slammed the phone down. This incident is the final one that I will tolerate from this provider. I will be finding a new doctor now. read more

Dr. Jaffe has personally saved my life. I was at my lowest and now I am on the right path. From day one when he met me, he said I know I would be a success story. Now I work a job I have always dreamed of and I would have never gotten there without his support. His wife works in the front and she is also a sweetheart. I have been a patient for YEARS. You wouldn't let me speak. That's not what I was trying to say at all. I was saying that it takes 3 days to switch pharmacies then 2 weeks for the new pharmacy to order the prescription. You waited until the day of. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I never said it was the only one I could use. I TRIED to say none others keep that medication in stock but you wouldn't listen and when I asked for help you said it wasn't your problem. My pharmacy has also never had a problem with anyone but YOU. You are a horrible doctor. Your wife is even worse. She throws baby tantrums and screams at people. You DO NOT give your life to helping anyone. The fact that you thought I'd stay after that is hilarious. Don't worry you didn't have to call me repeatedly as I would NEVER RETURN TO THIS PRACTICE even though they tried to for this review. I will be reporting this to the insurance company. I'm not going to let that treatment and your wife's treatment of me go. Make your own choices about these people but I'm telling you the truth They don't care about their patients. From the first phone call, until the second visit it was the most horrible experience I have ever had with a so called professional(s). Mind you, I am the mother of an addict and he was looking for help. The nurse from my second phone call was rude, and told me she didn't have time for me and had no patience and hung up on me. No compassion for the addict at all, yes my son was rude as well and they did not warrant his negative words. I was left behind, and Mrs. Jaffee the receptionist yelled at me, bullied me. I asked her multiple time to stop yelling, again yes my son was disrespectful -- but I didn't warrant what she said to me. Bottom line, I paid for a visit and no medicine for my son -- I was pretty much told to get out! Dr. Jaffe is an excellent doctor who is helpful in all areas of the medical field. His office staff is wonderful. They make you feel like your the only patient they have, answering questions, juggling appointment times and just overall kindness. I am very glad I found this practice. read more

If you are looking for a physician who is knowledgeable, competent and a staff that is friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and kind.... KEEP LOOKING This physician is only acceptable when his spouse is no where in sight. The real problem in the practice is his Office Manager/RN/JD/wife. I was sure to add the JD because she made it quite clear that she was a lawyer. Note, there is no attorney listed with The Florida Bar web site named Dana Marie Jaffe, nor her maiden name or other known aliases. Her nursing license is verifiable by the Department of Medical Quality Assurance, licensed in 2009. You may be wondering why someone would go to such lengths to find out licensing information about a nurse. It was necessary for the complaint I filed with my insurance company and the pending complaint with the state. Before continuing, it is noteworthy to mention that I hold a respiratory therapy license (inactive due to illness) in good standing in the state of Florida since 1999, with absolutely no sanctions or complaints. I had one appointment with Dr. Jaffe in June. It went fine. The physician and medical assistant were kind and helpful. It made me feel great about being assigned this physician by my insurance. My next appointment was canceled by Dana, stating the practice wasn't busy enough to maintain office hours on Wednesdays and I needed to reschedule. I did so for Tuesday, September16,2014 for prescription refills. The office practice is not to call in refills so they can bill for an appointment. My family accompanied me. My spouse and our 11y.o daughter. This isn't unusual; my 11yo daughter is homeschooled and is always accompanying me to appointments. Based on Ms.Jaffee's behavior, which was completely unprofessional and inappropriate, I would rate the practice 0 stars, if able. Stay far away from this woman and her husband.
