Dr. Hodach and his perfected practice of Ketamine Therapy I decided to try, truly saved my life. I…read morehave been struggling with severe depression for at least 8 years and tried several medications, went to therapy and psychiatrists all the time, even went to rehab at one dark point in my life because my family was fearful of my carelessness and my zombie-like, severely depressed state I would fall into and ruin my life that I had worked so hard for every day. I felt helpless and my family recommended me give it a shot. I had nothing else to lose, did some research, and decided to give this a try. I feel like I can finally breath again, go after my goals and dreams without fear of failure again and again. Colors are even brighter. For a week I was in shock and so happy I could cry as I experienced the quick relief of ketamine therapy. I still can cry tears of joy when I talk about my experience and what the treatment has done for me in my life. I feel like I am 15 again, looking forward to actually LIVING my LIFE. It's an overwhelming, amazing feeling. I am forever thankful for Dr. Hodach and his team. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and THAT is hard to find. Even though I am "done" with my first treatment, he still monitors my mood daily and if/or when I might need a "booster" treatment, I will be ready and be able to prevent my life crumbling in front of me like it always has, because on those days I am filled with such darkness I don't get out of bed. I am so grateful and just want to share this so whoever needs help will please just give this a try. The success rate is very high and this treatment is promising.

Erin has encouraged me to take more than one course of action to treat my issue -- something that I NEVER would have done had I not seen her first. She has also helped me realize that treatment takes time; it's not a "pop a pill and you're instantly back to normal" kind of thing. My expectations have been grounded more in reality now. Erin is very knowledgeable, professional and empathetic. I would highly recommend Erin...but it seems that many people have already discovered her. There is a bit of a wait to get an appointment. But it IS worth it.

Despite…read morepleading to the point of tears over many months, I was never accommodated or allowed to have a specialist provide proof of disability. I cannot drive to urgent care when an episode is happening but was told that was "only" solution. Medicaid investigated and found in my favor. Juan, the COO, told me it should not have happened. Katherine would ask me to stay in session with migraines until Medicaid would pay for the visit- exactly 16 minutes of me sitting in pain, rather than being accommodated. Juan AND Twila both told me they would contact me after my complaint. That was followed up with me calling every two days for four weeks and being told Juan was out of the office, I just missed him, he will call me back, that he is out for lunch- endless excuses. Twila finally took responsibility and said it was wrong and she would try to get something for me. At the time, Katherine discharged me when my little sister was in the middle of a potentially abusive household and I had no resources. She is a child. Twila promised she would give me at the very least a list of resources, and never did. I waited days for her to call me and help me and she never did. And they deleted my Google review about it. On top of all of this, I was using Meg for psychiatric care. While I mostly felt comfortable with her, I eventually was pressured to use Lithium for a disorder I likely do not have and when it is not feasible for the medications I have to take to manage chronic pain. She insisted I go on Lithium despite the fact I would lose access to NSAIDS and have diagnosed 15+ episodes needing them a month. It did not seem fair or like she or anyone at bright futures believed I suffered my disability. I have since been diagnosed with OCD, which would have likely explained many of the symptoms I was experiencing at the time, and that I pleaded about. Meg seemed so determined to diagnose me with bipolar due to genetic history, and I am really glad I pushed back and did not stay with her as I would have been on a quite serious medication that was not feasible or safe for me. I would just be very, very cautious of going here if you are a disabled person. And don't assume they'll help you if someone you love is at risk.
