Walking Main Street during Sturgis 2021, along with hundreds of other motorcycle enthusiasts, we happened upon this place. I was amazed and impressed with the quality of the paintings hanging on the walls. The paintings of motorcycles in various settings, with subjects, without subjects, all conveyed a unique ability to connect with a rider's love of riding. It's obvious the artist is very talented as attention to detail, colors, and theme are creative and inspiring. Other merchandise available here include sculptures, western wear hats, and unique lamps. The prices can run in the 4 digit category for the paintings. I wasn't buying today, but really enjoyed looking. What an amazing place and a wonderful display of art hanging from every wall in the business. For any and all enthusiasts of Harley Davidson, this Gallery is a must. Mr. Jacobs was kind enough to come down from his studio and sign pieces that were purchased by his guests. A wonderful man who truly takes pride in his craft. The Gallery is located right on Main St and all are welcomed. Unfortunately I could not purchase the piece of Art that I wanted at this time due to storage space in my vehicle but there are business cards available at the front desk for anyone to take. I brought in 2 paintings to be framed & a frame that needed mending. Everything turned out great. Only took about a week. They have a beautiful, wide selection of frames in the store & spent a lot of time with me helping to choose the right ones, even though I came in close to closing time. Prices are in line with other custom frame shops like aaron bros. SEH residents..inquire about the discount for locals. First of all, how do I give Scott Jacobs Studio more than five stars? I am a resident of San Elijo Hills and happened to notice that the studio had opened - so in I went with two photographs that I needed framed. Took a few minutes of gawking at Scott Jacobs Art before I could start thinking about the framing. The help I received was way above and beyond and extremely friendly, like I was another member of the family! Have since taken in a Charles Fries Oil that Scott Jacobs recommended be sent to the Penn. Art Conservatory for cleaning and re-stretching on new linen backing as the painting was done in the 1930's and would not last long without this work. We have since gotten it back and had it framed - absolutely beautiful! Scott Jacobs met with us and helped "design" a frame that makes the painting stand out. A lot of personal time and custom work on his part to achieve the right effect. Very much appreciated. We are already selecting the next group of old family photographs to have re-framed. I would recommend the Scott Jacobs Studio Art Gallery & Framing to anyone. Scott and his staff are very friendly and extremely helpful in selecting a frame that best suites your work. I was also amazed by the turn around time on the frames... I expected to have them completed in a couple of weeks and was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from the studio, that they were done in just a few days!
