I can't say enough nice things about working with Scott. Easy going, but organized, it was smooth sailing from the start. He was responsive leading up, he was punctual and a total pro. A friend of the family who saw our wedding pictures remarked that they were the best he'd seen in 60 years. Scott captured all of the moments and emotions of the best day of my life (so far), in an anxiety-free and easy-going and professional manner -- and he wasn't even close to the most expensive part of the wedding. On the day of, I never felt like Scott was intruding or in the way, the way I've seen or heard other photographers are. I also really liked how quickly and painless the group photo session was after the ceremony. We received our pictures really quickly after the wedding, along with a photo slideshow set to our first song. Scott also shot a photograph of my twin and I with our niece. That and a picture from our wedding are the first images I see every morning. I expected the PortAPotty guy (reception in a field) to be a little sleazy, and the DJ to be a little cheesy. They were. On a day when we're attempting to surround ourselves with all that is good and loving in our lives, it is admittedly a little sucky to have a few pecuniary relationships while you're trying to cha-cha with your relatives. Besides creative ability, above all, Scott is a good guy and will not make you feel that way. A google search of his non-wedding works will show you that he uses his art as a creative force for good and social justice causes. This bleeds over into his other work. Scott did my wedding and also two of my daughters. He manages to be unobtrusive and yet gets all of the important shots and they are wonderful photos. I think for what you get you would pay two or three times his rate. If you look on his website his photography in general is at the very highest level. You can't go wrong when you get a nice guy, a good rate, and incredible photos. One of my daughters and now also her friends have also used Scott to take family portraits and they have also been amazing, I"m looking at a photo of my granddaughter that he took that is really incredible. read more

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Scott. He was an absolute joy to work with. We receive so many compliments on our wedding photos. My husband and I had planned an intimate ceremony (5 people, including us). While we didn't want a big wedding, we still wanted to have beautiful photos to share with our friends and family.
