[[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a hard time getting in to see a orthopedic specialist after sustaining an injury to both my knees back on March 19, 2026.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was in so much pain that due to my fall I sustained a large hematoma on my right knee. Due to my injury and the HIGH COST of seeing a ER Doctor I tried working with my insurance to see someone that could help me. Due to my hematoma, my pain management doctor asked if I'd like to have this thing drained in hopes that it would help eliminate some of my pain. It didn't help much other than reduce my swelling in that knee. I tried reaching out to my HMO primary if they could get me in to see a specialist to help treat my injury. My doctor's scheduling coordinator found SCOS and gave me a referral to finally see a specialist. The specialist assigned to me was Dr. Scott Graham. When I got to the office his staff took X-rays of both my knees then had me wait for Dr. Graham to review them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He said due to the time between when the accident occurred and now did I try to seek any medical attention? I told him that due to the difficulty I was having getting in to see a doctor, my pain management doctor helped drain my hematoma. He asked where were the notes from that doctor?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I said that everything I've even had done by a doctor was placed in my medical notes even whenever I've had surgeries or any other procedure done that all was in my medical records. He said that nothing was in his records. He told me that I was wasting his time and that the way I went in treating my injury was all wrong and that he couldn't do anything for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He spent almost 30 minutes chewing me out for doing what I did before seeing him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I said I was going out of my mind in pain and that anything a doctor could do for me was better than nothing. I tried to apologize to him but he wasn't hearing anything from me. He had already made it up in his own mind that despite that I was a patient in need there wasn't anything could do for me and he couldn't care less about. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dr. Graham has the WORST BEDSIDE MANNER of any doctor I have ever seen in my entire life!!!!!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He's an egotistical megalomaniac doctor and I use the term "Doctor" very loosely when referring to him. Dr. Graham is obviously forgotten the Hippocratic Oath that all doctors must abide to except this Moron who promised to abide to when treating his patients with respect, If I could have rated him with. A ZERO STAR I would have!!! I don't think Dr. Graham should be a doctor but rather a Garbageman, a position more suited for his crappy attitude. At least as a garbage man he'll never have to worry about the trash and garbage he'd be shoveling every day to his patients. I used to come to SCOS over the years for other injuries and every doctor up until now has been ABSOLUTELY outstanding! I would always recommend SCOS to all my family and friends if they ever needed an EXCELLENT Surgeon or Specialist. But not any longer. I had no intention of writing a review. However, after receiving countless emails and text messages over the past six weeks requesting feedback, I feel compelled to share my experience. I had an absolutely terrible and deeply upsetting experience with Dr. Graham during my most recent visit. Seventeen years ago, Dr. Graham performed arthroscopic knee surgery on me, and I recall that experience being positive. Because of that history, when I recently began experiencing significant shoulder pain, I felt comfortable scheduling an appointment with him. My primary care physician ordered X-rays and an MRI, which confirmed that I have frozen shoulder, and referred me to an orthopedist for further care. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing short of appalling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dr. Graham was dismissive, rude, and condescending throughout the appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He minimized my pain and made inappropriate, insulting comments, including telling me I had poor posture and suggesting I "buy one of those bras that helps you sit up straight."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This comment was unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. I also raised concerns about rheumatoid arthritis-related pain in my shoulder. His response was simply, "Just ice it." When I explained that icing is not an option for me because cold triggers RA flare-ups--something that is widely understood--he replied, "I've never heard that before," and dismissed the concern entirely. He then told me to "just go to physical therapy," despite the fact that I have already been consistently attending physical therapy for the past two years. When I asked about a cortisone injection to help manage the pain--pain so severe that I could barely lift my arm--he administered the shot but then stated there was "nothing that can be done" for frozen shoulder. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I left the appointment feeling talked down to, unheard, and disrespected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fact that I paid for an office visit where I was treated so poorly and made to feel uncomfortable and invalidated is absolutely unacceptable. I am a very active, 35-year-old woman in excellent physical shape. The pain I am experiencing is not the result of an injury and should have been taken seriously by a physician. I will be seeking a second opinion outside of this office. No patient deserves to be treated this way. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I have never left a doctor's appointment feeling as upset as I did after seeing Scott Graham.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You'd think someone who chooses to go into medicine would care about helping people, but that was absolutely not the case here. I had a pre-op appointment scheduled, and after waiting probably 5 mins in the waiting room and over 10 minutes in the patient room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He finally showed up, he didn't greet me or ask how I was doing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He went straight into rattling off a list of pre-surgery instructions from a handout, without any personal connection or empathy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every time I tried to ask a question, he cut me off with short, condescending responses like "Nope," "Yes," "You're good," without giving me any real answers or reassurance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked how he typically supports anxious patients before surgery, and instead of giving any reassurance as a surgeon. He could've said, "You're in great hands... my past patients have had great recovery... blah blah blah..." but no, he said: "I don't know. You'll need to talk to your primary care doctor--I don't do anxiety."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was stunned. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then he followed it up with, "You better not cancel the surgery now. You know you can't cancel it now, right?"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At that point I wanted to leave. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was zero empathy, zero support--I didn't feel like a person in that room, just another paycheck for him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I actually started tearing up out of frustration, and even though I shouldn't have, I apologized and said, "Sorry, I'm just frustrated that I can't even ask questions without feeling rushed."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He had the audacity to say, "Well, I have a meeting in six minutes so."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Are you kidding me? I booked this pre-op appointment weeks ago. If you have a meeting, that's on you. It is not my fault he didn't manage his schedule properly. Patient care should be on the top of your priority list. If he rushes my pre-op like this, how can I trust that he won't do the same in the operating room? [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was crying to the assistant and told her what happened as she was processing my paperwork and she didn't seem shocked at all. I'm sure she already knows how Scott is and wasn't even surprised.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She just asked me what questions I had that maybe she could answer. I went to Scott yesterday. My doctor gave me a referral to him. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He comes into the room and doesn't even introduce himself or say hi. Dr Graham initially misdiagnosed my condition. His demeanor was that of being annoyed by my presence during our short and rushed appointment. When I returned to him because of constant pain, he was less then professional. He was short tempered and extremely condescending, lecturing me as if I were a toddler. Acted angrily as if I were wasting his time. Never have I been treated with disrespect from any medical professional or person in general. A second and third opinion with new doctors concluded that Dr Graham misdiagnosed my condition which has since greatly improved. His colleagues in the profession don't have much better to say about him sadly. I would highly advise looking elsewhere for orthopedic treatment. read more

I saw Dr. Graham a few years ago for a knee injury that happened at work, and he was so discouraging about any options I had for treatment, I have just been trying to deal with this on my own since then. Now that this issue continues to get harder to live with, I am trying to find someone who actually knows what they're talking about for a second opinion. I told him I had injured myself at work, and only X-rays had been ordered at the time, but I was worried I had torn something in my knee. He dismissed everything I said about this injury and told me that the competitive dancing I had done as a child had led to arthritis (in only one knee), and I could never dance again, I should avoid walking as much as possible, and wait decades like this until I can get a knee replacement. He ordered a CT scan to appease me, and left me a voicemail a couple of weeks later to let me know that I have a torn meniscus... just like I thought. Dr told me he is sending samples to lab then was to lazy to fill out the insurance paperwork so i had to. For his work then he referred me to an pt that was to days of evaluation the referral said it was for my knee. Why were they evaluating me twice? It was torture. Then dr referred me to a dr. Very disappointing. This doctor treated my son for a high school football injury. When I saw him with my son previously, he was attentive and kind. I went to see him a few weeks ago. He came into the room, never looked at me. Never greeted me. As he was looking at the chart. He asked why I was there I explained that during a recent steep descent hike, I heard a "pop" and now my knee locks up. He put the x-rays on the screen to show me arthritis. He said my issue was not meniscus injury and most likely just arthritis and told me to come back after three weeks. Three weeks! I don't think arthritis pops and causes locked knees! Maybe he was having a bad day? Rude, dismissive, not engaging, aloof. If he was having a bad day, I got the brunt of him. Now after two weeks my knee is worse. After reading the reviews below, I am glad Dr. Graham refused to see me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The office staff is kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have had surgeries done by two other surgeons in the office who were great. I had knee and shoulder surgery. However, the waiting room is crowded and seems like a large clinic doctor mill. See as many patients as possible and overbook the schedule despite causing delays for the patient. It is like overbooking an airplane flight in case a passenger doesn't show up. The wait is often long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I specifically made an appointment to see Dr. Graham. However, when I was called to the examination room I was met by his physician's assistant and told "Dr. Graham would not see me unless he, the physician's assistant, approved me first"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was not approved to see Dr. Graham and never given an explanation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My spine has now deteriorated to the point that I can barely walk. Perhaps this doctor treats patients with the best insurance better. At the time I had an HMO insurance with Monarch as the third party administrator. I suspect the reimbursement was low, claims had their codes reduced, and payments slow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So, if I didn't pass the physician assistant's screening I wouldn't be allowed to see the almighty Dr. Graham. I believe I was denied to see the Wizard of Oz because I didn't have Toto Insurance. If I only had a brain[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Now I have a PPO so I would have been able to follow the Yellow Brick Road into his examination room. From all of the reviews, I'm glad I didn't. Unfortunately, I didn't attempt to see another surgeon because he was one of the few in network. So my spine was not repaired and as a result, I am in constant pain and cannot sit, walk and can barely lay in bed. First do no harm is the theme of the Hippocratic Oath. The health insurance industry has made the physicians so dissatisfied that they don't even want to see patients. 25% of physician time is spent doing prior authorizations or appealing denials or fighting reimbursement that is slashed by the insurance companies. It is like being a slave to a horrible entity and passing your frustration down to the patient. I know because I'm medically retired now and dealt with insurance companies for years. Yet the insurance companies make millions of dollars off of the sweat of the doctors and steal insurance premiums from the patients. I purchased an insurance policy for my son when he was 8 years old. It was $180 per month. Now at 19 years old, the premium has increased to $550 per month and he has never been sick. Who can afford that? So, I changed him from a BlueShield PPO to a Blue Shield HMO and the premium is still $350 per month. We have the sickest population and the best technology for patients. But doctors don't even lay hands on patients anymore. You need a different specialist for the right nostril and the left nostril. Physician patient relationships have been destroyed by medicine becoming big business. This may be why doctors don't want to take care of patients. It is worst with dental care. Dental Insurance pays so little to dentists and the premiums are higher than their maximum allowable reimbursement in a year. People cannot afford to see dentists and dentists can't afford to see patients because of the high cost to run a practice and the small reimbursement from dental insurance. You would be surprised to know that the average general dentist takes home less than $100,000 a year. Cosmetic dentists and cosmetic maxillofacial oral surgeons earn more but these are all cash practices for the most part. Dentists have the greatest rates of depression amongst all professionals. 1 in 7 dentists commits suicide. It is a difficult profession and patients hate to visit and think the dentist overcharges. Patients don't realize the costs a dentist incurs and this does not even include student loan payments for the younger dentists. I'm only bringing this up because I need some dental work and just completed some dental care. Finally, Medi-Cal or Medicaid pays physician's and dentists such low rates, the doctors cannot survive. Also try finding a physician or dentist who accepts Medi-Cal or Medicaid is many areas is almost impossible. Dental practices accepting Medicaid are often run by corporations with dental centers for children. These set ups pay the dentists on productivity and sales. So patients get fillings and crowns and unnecessary work to get more money from Medicaid. It is a dental mill and the care may be substandard. When money and healthcare are married, a divorce is the end result and the patient is like the child caught in the custody battle. I have been the doctor, and am now, the patient for over 20 years. I had a number of physicians who misdiagnosed or did not diagnoses my leukemia for 7 years until I was dying and permanent bone marrow damage was done due to the delayed diagnosis. Ideally, doctors can sometimes cure. We can often comfort. Yet we should always care. read more

If I could give a 1/2 star I would. He took little to no time to listen to my symptoms, my pain, got one xray on my shoulders and diagnosed me with arthritis, went on to recommend me scaling back my active lifestyle and take Alieve! Despite me requesting an MRI he was insistent that was not necessary. The only thing he said I can do is treat the pain w alieve, ice and heat, dial back my active lifestyle or get a replacement which he also went on to say was not a good idea for me at this stage of life. I have since got a second opinion and thank goodness I did. I have never felt like a Dr could not care less. read more

The staff and x-ray tech was so welcoming and knowledgeable! But when Dr Graham walked in, he did not greet me or introduce himself. Instead, he was so rude and totally talked down to me. I was in such shock the way he presented himself. He basically yelled at me about what I wasn't doing and what I should be doing. He told me if I still had knee pain in 4-6 weeks, I needed to come back in for an MRI and possible surgery, as it could be a tear or arthritis. He then said he hoped to not see me again. Wasn't seen for an hour after my appointment was to start. Dr. Graham did not greet me when he came into the room and jumped right onto the computer. His entire attitude was accusatory, confrontational, and lacked any personal warmth. When he asked how my shoulder was injured I explained it was hurt at a chiropractor's office and that it had been re-injured again there. "Why do you keep going back there?!" I said that was a good question, but that I was here to find a solution to the problem. He then asked, "Do you have any medicine in you?" I said, no, no Advil. "WELL DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE IN YOU? TYLENOL, MOTRIN?" Dude, calm down. He ran through some motion exercises and determined my pain was probably rotator cuff issues; told me it would just get better. I said I was getting a second opinion and he softened up some, gave me my xrays, and then I got out of there. The practice was a zoo; shouting out at patients in the waiting room; two tv's blaring, and an overall sense of lack of personalization. Not interested in returning. Best part was the helpful medical assistant and x-ray tech. read more

I'm not even sure what to say....second time seeing this Dr and both times I have left there perplexed and wondered what kind of people does he treat kindly? I wonder what it takes for this Dr to talk to you and treat you like a person. Clearly not the elderly, as other reviews have pointed out, but not the middle aged average looking and educated either. He has horrible bed side manners and a pompous attitude from the second he walks in the door. Recently went to see Dr Graham about pain in my left knee. They took x-rays and Dr Graham diagnosed me with Arthritis and stated I had to live with it until it got very bad. He said I should ice it and us anti-inflammatory medications. This diagnosis was totally wrong. I went to another orthopedic Dr, who took X-rays and and prescribed an MRI which uncovered a tear on the inside of my meniscus. I do not recommend Dr Graham, he spent only about 5-10 minutes with me and made a cursory exam and quick WRONG diagnosis. read more

My first appointment was today for what my primary doctor thought I might need a knee replacement. After waiting 1 hour after my scheduled appointment he walks in, no hello or introduction. Looks at my xray and said no issues here. I'll order an MRI. Then he abruptly asked do I have any questions and walks out. My friend went in for a severely swollen knee. Dr did nothing but an X-ray and said it's a torn meniscus. Sent my friend to front desk. Front desk said they would call for a mri to be done. My friends knee continued to hunt while waiting for a call regarding the MRI. They waited and waited. Finally, I said call them your self. Friend left a message and call wasn't returned.. I called another sports medicine Dr and he was seen immediately. The new ortho said wow it's pretty swollen and drained 50 ccs of fluid off the knee and also administered an hydrocortisone injection. Afterwards a brace was put on because of buckling. An mri was also being scheduled immediately. read more

Dear Dr. Graham, Choosing you as my doctor on May 19, 2020 for a really basic knee injury was the worst decision I've ever made in my life. You've probably forgotten about me by now, but please know that I still suffer every hour of every single day that goes by. There isn't one day that isn't miserable for me. You haven't heard from me since I hand delivered my nine-page letter to you on July 8, 2020, that detailed every visit, phone call, etc. with you. It detailed me coming back to see you, and calling, INSISTING that I had a meniscus tear, telling you that my knee was buckling and that my pain was intolerable. But you kept telling me that it was only arthritis, even though you said I had no arthritis during our first visit after looking at my x-rays. I will never forget when I came back to see you on June 2. My knee was the size of a tree trunk and I couldn't bend it. My pain was unbearable and no amount of Advil and/or Tylenol would help. I was in tears, telling you that I knew something was wrong, that this wasn't arthritis like you'd said. I was desperate Dr. Graham. And you were in a rush. You left and came back into the room twice. I asked you really really nicely to please read my MRI results in front of me. I asked because I had gone onto the Patient Portal myself before the appointment, because I KNEW something HAD to be wrong, or missed. And I was pretty sure I'd found it. You agreed to go over the results with me, and read through it - then paused when you got to the part that said "DEVELOPING horizontal cleavage plane tear... lateral meniscus". Why did you pause like that? Then you told me that MRIs were like art and that everyone interpreted them differently. I was like "?????" then you said strongly "YOU DO NOT HAVE A MENISCUS TEAR." It sure seemed like you were definitely getting tired of me insisting that I did. You told me "You have arthritis. Deal with it the same way everyone with arthritis deals with it." I was broken. And I KNEW you HAD to be wrong. So I found another doctor. And you were wrong. The MRI was right. It wasn't art. But by the time I spent trying to convince you, my doctor, the damage was already done. My meniscus was obliterated. Literally torn to pieces, from the root. I'm going to attach surgery photos for you. There were pieces on both sides of my knee. Even some completely outside of my knee visible and palpable under my skin. That's why it hurt so much. That's why I couldn't walk without my knee buckling. That's why I kept coming back. Why didn't you listen to me? How could you have missed this? I chose you because you're a "Knee Specialist", Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery AND Orthopedic Sports Medicine. Your website boasts all sorts of other "Top Doctor" awards. How/why did you miss this? This was fixable. I was DEVELOPING a tear. That was fixable. Now my meniscus is COMPLETELY GONE. I had to have a meniscectomy on July 1. Thank God I found the other doctor who knew what was wrong the minute he saw my x-ray. He couldn't BELIEVE you'd missed it. I won't say any more than that. Now I need a partial knee replacement. My life is miserable, like I said above. Every hour of every day. It DIDN'T have to be this way. I can't walk without a painful limp, I can't even walk a decent distance without being in so much pain that I can't even walk anymore. Christmas shopping with my kids at Irvine Spectrum? Not possible. I can't walk that far. Because of you. I live in two story home. I'm in pain EVERY SINGLE STEP - EVERY SINGLE TIME I go up my stairs. Every single time I come down, I have to put both feet on each step because I can't bend my knee without terrible pain. I can't get up from the toilet without holding onto the wall. I can't go ANYWHERE where I need to walk. Even a lengthy trip to Target is too much. Because of you. MY POOR FAMILY. Everything I can't do anymore, THEY have to do. My knee buckles and KILLS me all the time. My kids are embarrassed. Why did you do this to me? This isn't fair. It's not fair. My story goes on... I just don't have time to keep writing now. I haven't even started talking about what horrible bedside manner you have and your ego being larger than the size of our state. Pretty ironic given how horrible your care is. I am ruined forever because of you. So is my family. How am I supposed to go on from here? I'm terrified to have a partial knee replacement, as I should be. And it would cost us thousands of dollars. But my life is ruined without one. Ask anyone - I've always been a bouncy, super happy, energetic, fun, active lady, accomplished entrepreneur, volunteer, soccer mom, Girl Scout leader, etc. Now I feel useless. I can't do anything. Thank you Dr. Graham and staff, During COVID, I opted to have the ACL replaced in my right knee. A previous doctor said I might be too old (67) to have the surgery. Little did he know that I have been active all my life, and don't intend to stop. This injury sidelined me temporarily. Dr. Graham said that they never refuse anyone based on age alone. He and staff thoroughly interviewed me, asking relevant questions about my athletic ability and exercise level. All of my questions were answered. They allowed me to choose surgery date, and opt for either using part of my patellar ligament or a cadaver ligament. I chose my own. Out patient surgery went smoothly. No complications. Follow-up appointment and physical therapy began 5 days later. Graham and staff scheduled regular appts. to see my progress, and advise changes to P.T. as I got stronger. Within 3 months I was allowed to begin jogging again. Here is it one year later. My goal was to run a 5k in under a 10-minute-per-mile pace. This Scott Graham is not worth your time and energy. Would not order an MRI even though it was approved by my insurance. Walked in and told me since I had a cortisone injection a MRI could not be read. After calling multiple hospitals and different MD"s was told that was not true. After another surgeon ordering me a MRI the findings were grim. Major tear in my meniscus and surgery needed ASAP. Dr. Graham was able to see us with short notice. He's obviously very experienced and took time to explain everything so that we could easily understand. My daughter is 10 years old and fractured her foot in the growth plate while doing gymnastics. He has also helped a couple of friends with their torn ACL's so we knew we would be in good hands. I'm sixty three years old. I've been in 5 automobile accidents over my life time and in that time I've seen 15-20 doctors. There are 2 that rank at the bottom of my list. One is a GI doctor from Redlands named Dr Strong. The other is Dr Graham. Perhaps I was a pest and a bother to Dr Graham, at least that's the way I felt after seeing him. Perhaps he was trying to end the day and get home as the reason why he seemed so disinterested in my awful knee pain. Perhaps he's just naturally smug and arrogant, as it appears he was, while explaining to me new information I was trying to assimilate. Perhaps he confuses intense apathy as a good reaction for stating my obvious and boring diagnosis. A waste of time and money. Not recommended! read more

Incompetent would be the word I would use to describe this man. I went to see Graham for a torn hamstring tendon. He spent at most 15 min. I was not greeted, nor asked how I was injured etc. he looked at my mri looked at me, said I had a torn tendons and that I will need surgery. He focused on the "wheely thing" (evidently what I would use to move around in) for my recovery and not on my questions I had. He finally asked when did the injury occur, I shared it was 3 weeks ago at the time and he abruptly said it was too late to do the and gets up and begins to walk out, I asked him why it was too late and he responded with "it just is too late." And "you can walk can't you?" Really? That is his criteria? Again I asked what makes it too late, he then quickly says "fine! Let's do it as soon as possible!" A few days after this appointment I called to ask some questions, his nurse relayed the Message and got back to me a couple of days later. I had asked once in surgery and the muscle Was too far down to connect the tendon, how would he solve this issue!" His response was he will just sew me back since there is nothing he could do!!! I find this surgeon utterly incompetent. Run if you can far away from him!!!!! Oh, and the "wheely thing" he focused on most of our session, in all the research i did in the recovery of this type of injury, not once did I come across the knee scooter to facilitate my recovery! In every thing I found, I needed to not have any weight on my leg for the entire 6 weeks and everyone I spoke to regarding this recovery said the same. Incompetent!!!!! At this point I had red flags all over. After the appointment I called my referring doctor that I am getting another opinion. It was the best thing I did! My new ortho reviewed all my MRIs, met with me a couple of times and each visit he spent almost 2 hours with me, explaining, processing and evaluating me. I ultimately had the surgery with my new orthopedic with confidence and knew he would be able to problem solve if an issue presented itself. read more

Dr. Graham is awesome! He was so thorough and really took time to explain my knee injury. I'm a trail runner and recently injured my knee while on a run. I'm baffled that he would ever receive less than a 5 star review! His staff were courteous, efficient and personable as well. He sounded like he knew what he saying (key word sounded) however he has zero chair side manors and made it extremely obvious that he couldn't care less if I was in pain or not. I left my appointment which lasted about 5 minutes maybe less without a single solution or idea of how I'm even supposed to recover. I saw this guy, Dr. Graham, because I was having problems with my shoulder a couple of years ago. He ordered an mri for me with contrast. When I arrived at the mri facility the technician told me that the order was for an mri WITHOUT contrast. I argued with the technician but eventually gave in and had an mri without contrast performed. When I went back to see Dr. Graham he became ENRAGED that the mri had been done improperly and told me he couldn't see anything because of an artifact from a previous labral repair surgery. He blamed me for the mixup and said I should have called him. I couldn't call him, though, because the mri appointment was at 8PM in the evening! He was incredibly rude to me. After some huffing and puffing, he ended up giving me a cortisone shot, which helped some. He asked me to call and talk to him about how well the shot worked a few days later. It felt somewhat better but I still felt like I needed further treatment and wanted to get the mri with contrast to see if there was a new tear in the labrum or problem with the anchor. I called many times and he never called me back! Eventually I saw another doctor and found that the problem was bone necrosis in the front of the arm and had surgery. The bottom line is, if you are interested in a physician with good bedside manner then you would be wise to avoid this guy. read more

9 months later and I am still amazed by how good my knees feel. I haven't had this little pain in my knees for at least 20 years. In fact, it is remarkable when I have noticeable pain in either knee. Thanks Dr. Graham! read more

I have seen Dr. Graham now for a couple of years and I like the fact that he's conservative regarding surgery. Last time I visited him was because my knee was locked up and he said I could get a cortisone injection. (Not for the locked up knee but arthritis problems) I'm not good with needles in my knees. He was very patient when he saw my hesitation and offered I could come back two days later if I changed my mind. Luckily the knee unlocked with the help of the physical therapist and I didn't need it. The fact he was not pushing it and was patient was a huge plus for me. read more

Without going into a lot of detail, I agree with those who have referenced Dr. Graham's arrogance. He was very short with me and essentially told me that he couldn't help me and that the condition that I was in would remain the same and get worse as I got older. He literally did nothing to help me. Since there are some five star ratings, it makes me wonder if he has good days and bad days and if you hit him on a good day maybe he is decent but if you hit him on a bad day, you can forget getting any kind of good care. Love Dr.Graham. Treats very conservatively. Doesn't automatically reach for the scalpel. He has helped me to keep walking. He explains things in a very logical and clear manner. Very thorough and he keeps your goals in mind. As other reviewers have noted, this provider is extremely arrogant and condescending. Even worse, he has no compassion or respect for his patients. He has no regard for suffering, no respect for advanced age. I work in the medical sphere and honestly have never encountered a provider who cared less about his patients.
