Tierney's lack of attention to detail resulted in our taxes not being filed correctly. We found out about this error when we learned that my wife's ex-husband filed a report with the IRS for tax fraud. When we approached Tierney about this, her response was apathetic and it was obvious that she does not take pride and what she does. While we do understand mistakes happen, her response to her mistake is our biggest issue. We do not recommend using Tierney or this company.

Went back and Darryl said he would take care of it mumbling something about others owing millions. So in April of 2025 I get another letter from IRS saying I owe $4000 + interest. This was our 3rd year using him for our taxes and we love it! He is incredibly knowledgeable and gets you in and out of his office in no time. Not that he rushes- he will sit and talk through anything you have questions about, he just uses your time more effectively by actually doing the long filing process after you leave. He plugs everything in while you wait and lets you know what you are getting back or what you owe, but you don't have to sit in there for an hour while he submits it! Definitely a welcome change from H&R Block. Also, I received a strange letter from the IRS while my husband was deployed this past year inquiring about whether he was deployed in 2008-2009. I showed the letter to Cliff (and it later came out that my husband had not filed his taxes that year which was probably why they were inquiring) and he said he would get it all figured out and taken care of. He also let us know that it was probably too late to get the money we would have received back since it was past the 3 year deadline, but he even offered to look into whether and how deployment time was accounted for in that. He told us that after he figured everything out for us, that he would then go ahead and file it so that we were good to go. Now that is customer service! We were really bummed that next year we would have to file with a new person since we are planning on moving out of the state by the end of this year. But, to our surprise, the receptionist informed us that they have clients all over the world and would be happy to continue doing our taxes long distance for us in the years to come. Well, we would be more than happy to continue our business with them.

I trusted this company to help manage my books for my businesses and my personal taxes and I could…read morenot be more disappointed. They do not have any sense of customer service (I tried to resolve this issue privately but no response and very little or extremely delayed regular communication) and I have to redo all my books and refile my taxes because they did everything wrong. I'm not even sure what they were doing all that time because they double and triple counted some revenue/expenses, could not figure out a simple transfer between my two companies, and the way they were classifying things didn't even make sense. I should absolutely have been more on top of it but I hired a company I thought I could trust because this clearly isn't a strong suit of mine. They will just take your and mess everything up. I do not recommend working with this company.
