What really sets Byron apart from other salons I've tried is the attention to detail. It's clear that Ronnie the manager has incredibly high standards and it feels as though there's a real collective effort from all the staff (senior stylists to trainees) to exceed those standards. The service is second to none, the salon is impeccably clean, and while it's certainly pricier than other salons, the whole experience really makes you feel like you're getting value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Byron - just make sure you book in advance as it fills up quick!

Instead I ended up with a disastorous haircut that was long on random pieces, the fringe was cut block (on a young guy?!) then cut diagonally upwards when I asked her to fix it. The natural curls were not worked around and there was no texture or layers put into the top. A complete nightmare and I was so upset about it. Your hair makes you who you are in a lot of ways, and I left (without paying) feeling completely let down and really, really upset at the state of my now very short and ragged hair. There is not much that anyone can do with it now! Staff were very friendly however, if poor at cutting hair. The salon was also modern and clean.

I am delighted with my new style. One of the main reasons I picked this place is because they have a website with the prices outlined and some shots of previous work. They don't take card so it meant I knew how much I needed to bring with me before I left the house. They're a small salon but you're not on display for all the word to see so the place feels intimate and friendly. Ohh and also they do just the best coffee.
