Our relationship was fine until I wanted to cancel my policy. I had paid my premium on time every…read moremonth and never filed a claim. I moved to Oregon and bought a new car. I called Robert to cancel my policy the day before it was set to renew for the following month. About a week later, I received an email stating my payment didn't go through. I responded that I had canceled my policy. About 2 month later, I received a message stating that my account has been sent to collection. I was very surprised and frustrated by this. I emailed Robert asking if he could get this taken care of. Unfortunately, he responded that since my policy was no longer active ( I am not a current customer) and since it had already been sent to collections there was nothing he could do and advised me to reach out to the collection agency. This was extremely disappointing and not an acceptable solution; as I was responsible and canceled my policy correctly. I ended up having to contact Farmers call center and spent about 2 hours to get this resolved. The associates that helped me in the call center were very understanding and helpful. What a terrible way to end the relationship over $36. And quite frustrating to have to do all the leg work and spend the time to get this resolved when Robert's office had made the error.

Crigler Insurance cancelled my insurance, in December, and did not have the courtesy to advise me…read more I was without insurance for over two months. My husband and I are separated. Apparently, they can cancel without justification. It was cancelled, not because of lack of payment, or an accident, or any other reason... it was cancelled just because... Highly unethical!!. Just maybe, it had to do with my husband's oldest son being a good friend of the owner of Crigler Insurance. Do not ever use Crigler Insurance for coverage... even after several phone calls asking them to fax proof of insurance to my new agent, they didn't have the decency to let me know they cancelled me, even when I spoke to them by phone.. It was not until my agent got ahold of Crigler, then she was told I was cancelled. Crigler did not have the decency to tell me they cancelled me when I talked to them. Crigler did NOTHING to right the situation... My agent called Mutual of Enumclaw and explained what took place... and got me coverage. Mutual of Enumclaw is an awesome company and they should drop Crigler Insurance and not associate their company with them. DO NOT USE CRIGLER INSURANCE. They are not a reputable, or a professional company.

You are required in the state of Washington to have auto insurance however, if you're a minor you cannot get it on your own. Therefore as a family with a young driver who had a minor accident, PEMCO will exclude them from the policy immediately, requiring your entire family to look for a new insurance company, even if you've been with them for over 20 years!! It's sad when bottom line drives a business even after paying tens of thousands of dollars over the years and are basically claim free!! So if you have a family with young children that will be driving soon, or are planning to start a family, don't use PEMCO insurance . Go to a reputable company such as AAA or Nationwide who will support you even when your child has a minor accident.
