I have had some issues with dentists in my past and it takes a lot for me to walk in a dentist's door (even waiting on my children). I had another bad tooth in my mouth and this one was near the front of my smile line. I was very self conscious as it broke and knew I needed to do something soon. My brother told me about offices in his area that were easy going and helpful which encouraged me. I tried one place in OP and they asked me If I just wanted to have all of my teeth pulled. They offered me some ideas on how they can help save my teeth but it was going to be an extraordinary amount of money. My wife talked me into trying Parkway Plaza and from the beginning the staff and dentist were very helpful and patient with me. They discussed options to make me more comfortable and they asked me questions rather than told me what to do. I've now had some work done and I'm very grateful. I've had little to no pain and I feel like I can smile again. I would recommend their office to anyone. This office has a great deal of compassion for theirs customers. Julie is a very special ambassador to their office who is very helpful and makes it clear that they're here for you. I will also say in regards to my anxiety toward future visits it has nearly diminished.

During this crazy pandemic it was hard to get in anywhere nearby, but they were able to squeeze me in sooner than anywhere else. They did warn me it would take awhile this first time because they had to take x-rays and photos, but hopefully everything will go a lot faster next visit. The wait to be seen by the doctor was quick and thorough. Dr. Ediger had great bedside manners and his staff Ashley and hygienist were all so kind. The facility was top-notch and was super accommodating. I love that everyone wore masks and that they had a wash your hands at the side before anything and temp check protocol, kudos to them for keeping their facility as safe and clean as they can. I had a wonderful experience and am glad we found our new family dentistry here in Kansas.

The fragrance in the office is so pleasant, and I love that they have coffee, snacks, and water while you wait. Arelis, the office manager, is nice, and Amy at the scheduling desk is friendly. Honesty, my dental hygienist, is gentle (never scraps my gums during a cleaning), and Dr. Deutch is a wonderful personal and very soft spoken. She truly cares about her patients. If you're looking for a dentist who's gentle, doesn't scrape your gums during cleanings, and gets you in and out in within an hour, I highly recommend Dr. Deutch and her team!

The assistant finally must go pull him away. I had requested a new night guard as my dog ate my old one, so he fit me for that. I was also there to have my daytime guard refit. This was the third time I have had to come in because this daytime guard has never fit properly. It hurts my teeth and causes headaches - the very opposite of its intended purpose. Dr. Dixson had to be reminded by his assistant about this and it was as though she had asked a child to share their favorite candy. He started huffing and puffing and of course rushed the job saying, "That's about the best possible fit as a dentist." He went back to his sports conversation with the college coach. Upon arriving home, I retried the daytime guard with the same result: tooth pain and headache. I was so frustrated that I just chucked the stupid thing in the trash. $495 for a daytime guard that never fit and will never fit. Today I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment to pick up my night guard. At exactly twenty minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I still had not been seen and decided to walk out. It is clear Dr. Dixson cares more about funding the next addition to his lake house than his patients. My message to Dr. Dixson: You can have the $495 and the night guard. It will likely fit as poorly as the last one I threw away. Stuff it.

Five stars. Plain and simple!…read more If you were to look back at my few-dozen Yelp reviews of businesses over the past five or six years, you wouldn't often read a review, even a five star review, that didn't have at least one very small drawback. This review is not one of those. This one is FIVE STARS, capital letters, no concessions. Dr. Wooddy, his staff, and their dental business is one of the sure things in my life! I've been going there twice a year (in a good year...more if my teeth aren't acting right!), for 14 years, and haven't once ever had anything less than an outstanding, pain-free, friendly, stellar experience! Dr. Wooddy is, without a doubt, one of the three nicest people I've met in my entire life. My teeth have been worked on by five or six hygienists over the years, and all of them have been extremely kind, gentle on the teeth and gums, and fun to chat with (to the extent one can with a mouth full of hands and tools). They always call to remind me of upcoming appointments, work with me on payment terms and insurance, and make sure I'm equipped with all the latest information on modern dental hygiene. When folks tell me they're new to town, there are literally only two people I recommend - a realtor I trust with my life, and Dr. Wooddy/Corinth Dentistry!

He listened to my concerns and was able to help me with a RX of antibiotics to relieve the infection and pain until I was able and willing to get my tooth pulled. He was able to do it that day but I shared with him my extreme nervousness with the procedure. He scheduled me on Monday with his colleague, Dr. Alborno, as the office was closed the rest of the holiday week. He gave me a RX to take the evening before and morning of the procedure to aid me with my nerves and extreme fear. He told me his colleague, Dr. Meshal Alborno is great at this procedure and also enjoys helping people through this procedure. I was still very nervous about the extraction as I was also getting a bone graft to aid in the future implant. His kindness and chair-side manner was very appreciated. Sunday evening I took the RX I was given to help calm my nerves to allow me a bit of rest. Monday morning I took the other dose of the RX to help me calm my nerves. I meet with Dr. Alborno as soon as I was taken back by the Dental Assistant Adam. Adam was a very calming person and explained everything he was doing to prepare for the procedure, he even offered me a blanket. I told him I was very nerves and scared and he informed the Doctor. Doctor Alborno was in the room very soon after I was taken back which was awesome because I was thinking of reasons I could back out. He introduced himself and told me that he was informed I was very nervous. He told me about his training as well as his passion for removal of teeth and patient care. He went over what was going to happen as well as what to do if I was to feel any pain. He made conversation to ensure I was comfortable, I believe asking me what my favorite food was. I asked him to be very gentle and cautious because I have a crown on one side and a dental implant on the other side of the planned extraction site. Once it was time for the injection of anesthetic, he was gentle and Adam tapped my shoulder explaining it helps keep the pain under control or trick the brain. They both were so very kind and understanding of my fear and nerves. I was about to cry but their care comforted me and helped with my fears. After ensuring the anesthetic was working the doctor went to work. It was very fast and almost painless. The injections were the only painful part and they both did it well. The best I have ever had to be honest. The extraction was quick. I was impressed it was out before I knew it. There was no excessive pressure or jarring motions. They placed the bone graft, the biological dressing and began stitching my gums up. After they took an few X rays to ensure it all was good. I am so very thankful for the care and kindness they both showed me throughout the procedure, especially because I stated I hate the dentist almost first thing when I sat in the chair. Dr. Alborno was the best doctor that I have ever had extract my teeth. I have had 6 other implants so at least 6 other teeth extracted and he was the best and again so gentle and caring. Adam was just as kind and caring. After the procedure was done they both gave me great and practical post op instructions. I couldn't be more grateful for the way I was treated in your office each time I have come. Today was the best I could ask for. Thank you again for the help
