I could not have been more displeased with my choice to use Nielsen Legal. I was initially given false information and guidance on my first phone call, which I could forgive. People do make mistakes. What I can't forgive is the unprofessional treatment and consideration I received. I received no contact whatsoever about my case and I had to call to try to get updates and understand the situation. The person handling my case was changed and I got no notification. When I called, I was treated with indignation as I quoted what the original person (incorrectly) told me. I didn't even get calls when I specifically requested them before my court date and more than one voicemail was completely ignored with no call back. I ended up having to make 2 money order payments to the court due to lack of communication. I got no call before or after my court date, just a letter and a bill from the court. The letter was inaccurate and directly contradicted the documents from the court. I strongly discourage anyone from using this law firm, particularly if you are from out of state.

She had me contact family members and do the work she should have been doing. She did not contact me for several weeks. I had to call the office and I was told she was doing research and would get back to me. She was doing research on something that was no longer needed and I have no proof that anything was done other than avoid getting back to me. I asked her to write letters and she had me provide more information. I never received the letters or proof of anything she had done, but I received an invoice and all of the money I had paid in advance with the exception of $125 was used. I called the office, requested the letters and the remaining funds and told them I would no longer require their services. To date, I have received NOTHING!
