I waited in the very small reception area. 3 people came after me and went in to see the doctor. I patiently waited ONE HOUR, finally went to the receptionist and asked why I was still waiting, she said "normally patients wait longer" ...WHAT!?? I've seen other hand doctors and the most I've waited has been 20 minutes. Worst practice/experience. Not even a "we are sorry you had to wait"...oh I guess because people here wait longer than an hour. IF you are smart, go with a serios doctor, not this one.

My primary care physician recommended that I see a pulmonologist to check out a questionable node found on a scan of my lung. My first pulmonologist was not particularly interested, said not to worry, advised me to follow up later -- and then left the area. I told my primary care physician of my experience. She referred me to Dr. Veley. Dr. Veley reviewed my case file and recommended that I immediately get a broncoscopy for purposes of providing a lung biopsy. He thoroughly explained the procedure, which did much to address my initial anxiety. I took his advice. The minimally invasive biopsy procedure found Stage 1 lung cancer. If Dr. Valey had simply accepted my lack of concern or reluctance to obtain the biopsy sample and done nothing, the cancer would not have been found. His knowledge, professionalism, and approach resulted in changing my situation from what could have been a very dire outlook to one of a probable 90% full recovery after completion of what is today a relatively routine surgery. His office staff is equally impressive. After I reported one admin glitch, my concern was immediately addressed. The office manager provided me with her direct line, and her staff continued to check with me to ensure all was addressed and running well. Dr. Veley's personnel told me that they work for him because of his obvious personal attention, care, and concern for his patients. As a patient, I can personally validate for their assessment.

I had been experiencing pain in right knee and having trouble bending walking and sleeping without pain. My meniscus had several tears and had just worn out over time. He assured me it would be quite simple to repair an in and out process and it was. I had surgery yesterday and today I feel great and most importantly there is no pain I'm able to function normally and my bandage comes off tomorrow. The recommendations given to us really have helped alot and I'm glad we were referred here by our PCP. I would have rating this exceptional - however - the downside is the adjecent shoe store patients are referred to are no where near what the other side of this business offers. We were told: go have his foot correctly measured, suggested a certain kind of shoe to help with flat feet and pain plus use inserts. We trusted this "store" attendant to do that. First, since trendy stores like Vans and Sketchers clerks told my son he was an 11, surprise surprise, he is not. We were told he measured 9 1/2 W. Ok. Good to know. They we looked for a 9 1/2 W shoe that the Dr. recommended. We were told to get inserts. We did. Now I will tell you my son is on the spectrum. He is high functioning but really won't complain and goes with the flow. The inserts......we were given were a 10-10 1/2. He slipped them into his size 11 shoe. Since the STORE had NO 9 1/2 W we were told to go to Academy and Dick's. They also did not have ANY 9 1/2 W in this type of shoe. So Amazon did. Ordered a 9 1/2 W, got it in a 3 days and my son slipped his 10-10 1/2 insert into the 9 1/2W shoe. A day or two later I saw him wearing his old shoes, no form fitting, lose which the Dr. warned not to wear. When I ask he said, well the BOX THE LADY PUT IN THE BAG SAYS 10- 10 1/2 and the SHOE WE WERE TOLD TO GET ME IS A 9 1/2W SO IT CRUNCHES MY TOES. My husband took the 10 - 10 1/2 insert and my son BACK TO THIS STORE. NO COMPENSATION. As a matter of fact were were told by BRITTANY, "THE OLD MEASURING DEVICE WAS INACCURATE". Oh, so the were using an outdating icorrect device!!!!!! HE is NOT a 9 1/2 W, now he's a regular 10 1/2. WHAT??????? I reviewed different podiatrists in my area and found good reviews about Doctor Marciano. I went in for an appointment and was so glad I did. The X-ray's showed that the first procedure was a 'mess' (my term) and after speaking with Dr Marciano, I was very reassured and confident that he was the best podiatrist to put my trust in. Yes, I had a 'redo' surgery and it was so very worth it. Dr Marciano lived up to every word he said and more. I know that he worked hard in surgery as the results were better than I expected. I recommend Dr Marciano to anybody who is looking for a podiatrist who's standards are above the norm. And I also received flowers from him and the staff. The two young women at the front desk were unfriendly and didn't smile or acknowledge me warmly. To make matters worse, the person who checked me out after my visit overcharged me by nearly $100 and argued with me about my insurance coverage. I'm still waiting on my refund! There were other issues as well, but I'll leave it at that. I genuinely hope my experience was not the "norm" for this clinic. While I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, I won't be returning.
