Say it would be better to get a new unit. Quote me over 10k for it (standard unit for a house under 2k sq ft). I get a second opionion and they say a fuze had blown and that the compressor is running fine. Total visit with new company cost 130 dollars and that included the 95 service charge. They price gauge and are dishonest. Do not use.

Well, I finally decided to sell my house and after the home inspection was done they found that my AC was not properly running. So Advance Heating & Air comes out and told me my coils were leaking from the AHU and that I had 3 options, 1) He could try and find a new coil at his shop-$1300 2) Replace the coil with a new one- $1900 3) Replace the whole AHU-$2400 I said let me get back with you on that one........ So I had Terry's Heating & Air come out and troubleshoot/look for leaks and detected NOTHING, no leaks and said the unit is in need of servicing and the thermometer needed to be replaced (out of calibration). Total cost = $240. Unit now runs just fine. ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!
