I saw him posting a lot of good pictures online and I figured i thought I'd give him a shot. We got in touch we spoke about a few jobs I have that I need help with and he said he can help me. I told him the requirements that we have and he said no problem he can get this to us. - Insurance certificate with our name on it before he starts working. - Take before, During and After pictures. This was June 19th week. June 23rd. I contacted him asking him if he was still planning on going to the clients home on Saturday to do the work. He responded yes. He told me it would be done by Sunday. It wasn't and he didn't contact me to let me know. (Very frustrating as I shouldn't be continuously contacting him). The job wasn't done over the weekend. The job was supposedly going to be done on the following Tuesday but it didn't until Wednesday. I understand weather permitting, however he never told me that he was coming out the following day. Wednesday supposedly the job was completed but it wasn't. This was a 1 man - 2 day job and pretty cut and dry project. Thursday June 29th I reached out to Dan about his project. I had to stop out at the property to find the fence installed has major issues since he never sent me the pictures. 1. Posts are loosely in the ground. They move and jiggle around. They aren't solidly in the ground as they should be. 2. The fence is chipped and cracked in several areas along the hinge areas very visible. 3. One post is being held up by a bungie cord - because the post isn't solid and is loose. 4. One post is crooked. 5. On one side of the home the fence isn't flush with the home as it should be. There is a piece of fence between the gas meter and the post loosely standing there. 6. The hinges on the left side of the garage are facing out and the one on the right side of the home are on the inside. 7. The gate can't open clearly due to the gas meter being in the way. Per the previous fence the gate opened as it was in the middle. 8. The gate on the left side was supposed to be 48" and 36" on the right side. He responded blaming me for picking out the worst materials to have installed. "Clients choice". It's a crappy installation. See the attachments. Dan asked me what I'm charging for labor and I responded; What I charge for labor or for the job has NOTHING to do with your quality of work period! He offered to have this fixed on the 4th of July and I declined as my client is having guests over this holiday weekend. This should have been fixed before the weekend not when it's convenient for him. This crappy installation can hurt my business reputation. He has used volger language with me and has threatened me because I've brought this to his attention. I had to get my attorney involved as he's acting out of control instead of fixing the problem so he can get paid. Update 7/13/18 The project is still incomplete. Unfortunately we have had to get our attorney involved since Dan has made severe threats after leaving this review online. Additionally he isn't willing to work with us and get it done how our contract with our client states. "Dans texts below; The next thing I say to you will be face to face. I'm done with the text talk. Maybe reconsider the way you talk to people, it may run some the wrong way I FUCKING TOLD YOU I WAS GOING TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES. I was goin to let this go, but you changed my mind" I don't want the gates flipped as Dan wants to do because there will be holes empty or filled looking like junk. I want the posts replaced, and gates that are broken replaced. Sadly if he doesn't do it per my instructions which I've messaged him a few times about I will have to have it removed and redone. We hired Jesus to repair our ceiling from water damage and paint the walls & window trim. The water…read moredamage was repaired but the taping is visible. Unfortunately the paint job is unsatisfactory. The walls were not properly prepared for painting. I asked the peeling tape and cracks repaired. There are still very obvious cracks. On one of the window trim, he painted over the sawdust that was on the trim from when we had our floor refinished a few days earlier. The walls throughout have paint drips and and roller marks. There are several areas we see the previous color peeking through. Jesus did guarantee his work for up to a year. i have contacted him twice. The first call he said it would be two weeks out. Two weeks came and went and i didn't hear from him. I contacted him again and he is yet to return my call. I do not recommend this company.

On the day of the appointment, I never received a confirmation or any communication that there was a problem. After waiting, I made several attempts to call and text the company but received no response. It wasn't until much later that I was told they didn't have availability and was asked if I wanted to reschedule for later that week. I understand that unexpected situations can arise and schedules can change. However, what was most disappointing was the lack of communication. My time is valuable too, and a quick call or text letting me know there was an issue would have been appreciated and would have prevented me from rearranging my day unnecessarily. Based on this experience, I did not feel confident moving forward with this company. The phone was always answered or I got a call back right away. Robert came out in just a couple of days for the estimate and we scheduled the kitchen cabinet job right away. They had come by for an initial estimate which was $220. I thought it was a bit high but I stated in an email reply that if the work took less time than estimated I expected the cost would be less. It took 1 hr to do the work and by two of the shelves I could see beginnings of holes that were not used. The 'reduced' cost was $210. I will never use these guys again and I definitely wouldn't recommend them. Unless you're really in a pinch and have money to burn.

Namely, my heavy iron screen door to the balcony kept slamming shut, the guest bedroom door was cracked and could no longer be closed properly or locked, and the kitchen faucet was driving me crazy with this constant drip....drip...drip. Plus, I wanted John's ideas on new kitchen lighting and paint colors, which will be the next project. John came by on a Monday to measure the doors and assess the damages. I think he went shopping on Tuesday at Home Depot, and by Wednesday afternoon, my entire list of broken stuff was repaired beyond my expectations, once again, while I was at Nordstrom's enjoying my day. I am so happy with his work, especially with the beautiful new kitchen faucet, the iron door closes without slamming, and the privacy of a locking door for the guest bedroom once again. Plus it was HUNDREDS of dollars less than other handy people have given me estimates for. Fair, honest, fast, reliable. I'd give 10 stars.
