I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is! I see a lot of the bad comments are from a long time ago. I am here now and have been for days and I cannot begin to explain how much I love it here! 1. Facility - you have your own room with your own bathroom and shower! You also have a TV! They keep the entire facility soooooo clean! They also have meal prepped foods, cereals, bagels, snacks, drinks, candy, etc. 2. The staff - since being here I have interacted with 10+ people and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them have been sooooo nice!!! They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and are constantly checking on you. If you are debating coming here, don't look at old comments, look at the most recent. Getting help is a scary thing. But the minute you walk in the doors you are treated like family. Every staff member is ABSOLUTELY incredible. You have your own room and bathroom. The food is great! You can keep your cell phone. If you need to work you can. The care you receive is amazing. The Dr really cares and listens to your needs. They always ask if you need anything. It's really frustrating, going through detox and getting off drugs, not in a stable mood 24/7, and on top of that, you have to explain everything the doctor had told told you and planned for you. In my 5 days here, I have been told from the nurses a completely different story of what my game plan is with medication and discharge, compared to what the DOCTOR, has advised. And when I brought it up and told them the plan I'm comfortable with, they didn't listen, still discharging me a day early when the doctor specifically said he wanted to keep me for that extra day just in case I have complications with getting off withdrawal medications for opioids. And on top of that, there's a new set of rules with every staff, they are not on the same page and it's very frustrating trying to navigate what I can/CANT do depending on which crew is in. You'd think, with the amount of money they're making from either the client or the clients insurance, that you can do laundry as much as needed. Especially considering you dont always plan to go to detox snd you might not be well equipped with clothes and you RUN through clothes when you're sweating snd detoxing off drugs. 5 stars? You're joking right? This place is a disaster and most of the staff are garbage. The doctor, "Dr." Topete or however you spell it has no clue as to what to do. He looked at my chart and said point blank "I don't know what to give you!' He graduated from the University of Darwin I believe. If you don't know what to do, how in the hell should I know what to do? Am I really paying $1,500 a night for this clown to tell me he basically doesn't know what to do? What a joke. Next up is Sherri or Cheryl...whatever doesn't matter. She is a "trauma expert" and a self-proclaimed psychic. You can't miss her...the one who looks like a man, talks about her military son that she probably makes love to along with her expensive BMW and how EXPENSIVE it is. The rest of the time is talking about her boring life and how she makes a lot of money and how great she is. Well guess what? She is two-faced. She'll tell you she's on your side and then leave the room and start talking smack about you like I can't hear what you're saying?!?!? She's trash and she dresses like it too. Ah Lisa is it? You too are a special type of trash and you don't care about anybody but yourself. Most of the time you're in your office on the computer doing god knows what. She is also two-faced and will call the cops all the time. You pee on the seat, she'll call the cops, if you start a new medication, have a bad reaction and you start hallucinating, they'll call the cops. It gets worse: I HAD A SEIZURE while under their "care" and when they took me to the ambulance, they tried to downplay it as "he just fainted." I know you're not aware while you're having a seizure but afterwords, when you come to, you realize it. And, I know my body. They lied so they potentially wouldn't get sued. SCUMBAGS. The good: Ingrid, a nurse I believe, is such a sweetheart and truly cared about me getting better. Violet made the best smoothies and Sandy is a badass woman but has her heart in the right place. Plus she is very intelligent. Conclusion: $23,000 down the drain. Crap, pompous and useless staff and "Dr" Reyes Topete needs to be stripped of his license. They call the cops ALL the time and guess who gets billed out of pocket? You're not allowed outside and the smoking area, the only area that you can get fresh air, ain't so fresh with 10 others smoking cigarette after cigarette. Plus, it's the size of a 3 man jail cell. The food is alright, at least. Otherwise, look elsewhere. If one has a seizure WHILE IN DETOX, there is something seriously wrong about your facility. This also, is not a dual diagnosis facility so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. This place needs to be shut down. I left faster than Speedy Gonzalez. That's of course AFTER they called the cops on me for the THIRD time because I wanted to leave. Jokesters and money grubbers. I absolutely HATED this place. read more

This place is worse than state run facilities (and I've been to one in the past). To start, I was charged 1700 up front which was more than what my insurance quoted me. The front entrance is nice, ambience is great and you're thinking "Okay I can do this." The ladies on the phone were over the top nice and the women that greeted me. I was confident they'd be able to ween me heroin and alcohol I was using. I'm prescribed Benzo's with no plans of getting off any time soon. I was given some hardcore sleeping meds and literally slept the first 15 hours of being there. Someone did try to wake me to eat, let me be the first to say, I was offered AppleBee's takeout which would make me explode out of both ends on a GOOD day, let alone DETOXING . Therefore I refused to eat, stumbled into their "kitchen" and there's only Halloween candy and soda. Nothing healthy or comforting. The "kitchen" was disgustingly dirty as well. They don't offer a blanket other than a sheet and it was hospital cold. My boyfriend had to buy a blanket and bring it to me. Also the room is about 1/3 the size of the photos with no comfy chair as promised. When I woke up fully, it was nighttime and I was in full on opiate withdrawal hell. I saw a doctor for about five minutes at 8pm, where he prescribed me 8 mlg subutex. I haven't used subutex in a decade so I thought he would know to give the proper dose as he is the doctor. After the nurse gave me my dose I was rocking back and forth like a crazy person, experiencing the worst withdrawal pains like I was crawling out of my skin. I asked if there was anything else that could be given and they said that's all the doctor prescribed. Now I've been 9 different treatment centers and this was the FIRST time I've ever been told that they can only give what's been prescribed. Even in state run places they gave you as much comfort meds as needed based on COWS assessment. I wasn't looking to get high, I just wanted to not feel as though I was crawling out of my flesh and hyperventilating. I called my insurance and asked them if I'd get charged for the full stay if I left (23 hrs into treatment and after being denied any more meds- not even Benadryl) they said no, and I'm free to leave especially if I'm not getting the proper care. I told the nurses I wanted to leave and one lady laughed and said I was going to go back out and relapse but "sure she'll bring my suitcases by." This was sooooo insane, they'd rather risk a patient leaving and relapsing rather than fixing the problem you went in for? Again, never heard of this in 8 other detox facilities. The nurse came in with all my bags, nobody helped me pack as my nose ran, I felt like I was going to be sick out of all ends and manically rocking back and forth like a mental patient trying to throw all my stuff in my bags. One of the nurses was nice enough to talk to me as my boyfriend was on his way about how she had been in treatment and it saved her life. I was about to ask "what treatment center because this one ain't it." Lol. Long story short, I went back to methadone and did not relapse or die as they tried to tell my boyfriend at the door. I had my doses from the clinic waiting for me at home but if it wasn't for that, maybe I would've relapsed and died? I've never been treated so poorly and never paid so much, especially up front to be subjected to such treatment. Despite the reviews I picked this place, thinking that well, nobody likes detox and perhaps people were being a bit dramatic. That's not the case. If you care about the person, or care enough about yourself don't fall for the "luxury" rehab, with massage chairs, outside dining, IV treatments, smoking section because at the end of the day not only was 90% a farce but it doesn't matter at the end of the day. Detox is there to get you immediate help in dire situations and doing so by properly medicating patients. Without the baseline, which is good staff, knowledgeable addiction specialists and proper medication it's a glamorized motel 6. My boyfriend and I fully believe this place is an insurance fraud scam and charges people upfront the entire cost because they know you won't make it past 24 hours. They don't want you to succeed, you're just a number. I can't even get a call back to get my patient records. It was the most expensive mistake I've made in a long while. Save yourself the money and the heartache of feeling like you failed, because it's not you it's THEM. Keep doing research and best of luck! read more

If I didn't have to give a star I wouldn't give one at all. When I called, it started out well. The gal was super nice over the phone. She even told me she would give me a discount because times were hard and everyone should help out where they can. I took my son there on a Monday night. The nurse met us outside the door and took my son's temperature and then let him in. My son texted me on and off while he was there. The first mistake they made was giving my son Suboxone too early. He started precipitated withdrawals and was so sick. They gave him no medications to help with his withdrawals. He tried to stick it out but ended up leaving because he was just too sick. I was heartbroken as I had put my faith in this establishment.... I had been told he would be kept comfortable and believed them. When I called the next day and asked the same nice gal about my son leaving, her comment was "he obviously just wanted to use and that is why he left". That was not true. They did not do their job. Also, they took the discount back that they offered me because my son only stayed for two days. They said they had to charge me the minimum of 3 days at the regular price of $1,000 per day. I didn't understand why they had to go back on their kind gesture of giving me a discount. I researched again and found another place called Gallus Detox. They took my son in and treated him with respect and were very attentive to his needs. It was like night and day. I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

She personally met us, handled everything and put our minds and hearts at ease. Extremely professional and ethical. We subsequently met with Sherry Borlabi, a lisenced counselor on staff who counseled us, as well as Chris Kling, who performed in an interventionist type capacity, relating so well to our loved one and saying all the right things. We could never have gotten our loved one to a residential rehab without this stellar team and we feel we owe them a debt of gratitude for their Herculean efforts: above and beyond what we ever expected or have experienced previously. They were recommended by an industry leader for recovery and restored our faith in this often questionable industry. I was such in the beginning stagesof this crisis the dr released ne early and the lady who finds you a bed PROMISED a few days of refund .... We all know i didnt receive the money back. Upon calling and before asking if kindly reminded her of who I was not only did she recall who I was, she went on about the finances and ened with I know I said you would be receiving 400+ $ in refund but thats not the case so I sent you 20 bucks.
