They have a surprisingly eclectic collection of wines for such a cozy little place, and both guys were very friendly and approachable. I wanted to locate a specific wine and they led me right to it without hesitation, which was fortunate for me because I would have been looking forever. This is a pleasant little liquor store with decent prices, run by a genuinely nice man. The bourbon selection is better than I expected, but we were there to buy some vodka for the ladies. They stock Tito's, which is always a good decision. Springing for the handle (at $32) might seem like a good decision as well, right up until the moment someone vomits in the back of your car. Oh, and they also have that alcoholic whipped cream, which will just put the icing on top of an already drunk cake. read more

You know me, the Suburban Spirit Sister, hopping from one liquor store to another to let you know the local wine-o low down. I just moved, so I need a local place to pick up on my stock when I run out of tequila, or need a quick bottle to go with my sauce, or even for going up on a Tuesday. Whatever, you get it. This place is teeny weeny, but that'll do pig, that'll do. They had a bottle of CocoBon for $7.99, a safe middle of the road, easy to drink red. Will I go to stock up on my usuals, maybe not. Wine selection is pretty small. Stuck in a small plaza, but, Scottsville Spirits, I have faith in you for my last minute fun runs. Also, you can get lotto tickets if you are into that. read more

My go to place! The customer service here is unbelievable! Staff knows the products they carry, I'm never hesitant to ask for a recommendation and it's always been handled with knowledge and I've never once been disappointed! The owner, Dave has even accommodated "special orders", when I've been looking for an obscure wine or spirit as a gift or otherwise. They are also wonderful with recommending substitutions ( which I've encountered when looking for a specific name brand called for in recipe). They remained open during Covid, all staff were masked, sneeze guards installed, and social distancing markers taped out on the floor. The store has always been fastidiously clean, and during Covid remains this way. Pricing is competitive.... I would rather support a local biz than big boxes, and I've never been disappointed in any way with this store. As a life long collector of Kentucky derby whiskey bottles, they have always ordered an extra one for me even if I forget to request it, and called me to let me know they are holding it when I'm ready. You simply can't get this type of customer service elsewhere- huge shout out to Dave and staff!!!! read more

Not following COVID orders- several unmasked customers came in, as well as unmasked staff. When I brought up the issue with the cashier he was extremely combative and cancelled my transaction, claiming they only want business from people who are OK with unmasked staff. I live locally but will be shopping at chili or Henrietta in the future. read more

Customer Service is great! Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Dave the owner knows just what my husband and I like. I remember going in there once and he was talking to a customer telling them what to get to take to their siblings house for dinner because he even knew what they liked. You're Not going to get that at Wegmans or any other grocery store. Small town atmosphere gives more of a sense of community. Would much rather shop small town, owner operated store than a grocery store. They are suppose to be selling groceries, aren't they? read more
