Customer service is a 5 stars! But I wish they had more tea or juice options and that's why I gave them 4 stars. The menu inside the store didn't seem to list everything I saw in the online menu. I decided to try "Blue lavender". I think it's got tea in it but I tasted the milk the most. It was mostly all milk. It was good though! I wish it had been sweeter but I like the condiment bar near the table, I found honey and sugar there and was happy to mix it in my drink. Unique little coffee shop, the first time I came in they had a bunch of little kids playing and hanging out near the back which was nice to see all the smiling faces. The coffee was nice and strong just the way I like it, I got an red eye which always give you a nice kick to your day. My partner and I were a little underwhelmed by the atmosphere and IKEA decor. The owner was very friendly and the coffee was great. It was only until after we left that we checked out the website for this place. Parents: this place is for you! This coffee shop is a kid-friendly space and meant for parents who come in with their kiddos. This all makes sense. The furniture is very kid-friendly and so are the sweets which come from La Belle Baguette. Items like chocolate croissants or pop tarts will be a hit with the kids. The location is great on busy Trans Canada Highway but only street parking is available which makes it difficult. The hours are very prohibitive so our guess is it's more for parents who are on leave or stay at home parents. Most of us like our coffee before 8 am and work well past 5 pm so it's a little tricky to get here if you're a working person. Great to see a coffee shop in this area as it was definitely lacking. However, if you're not here with kids, I'd recommend taking your coffee to go. read more

Location: right on The corner of portage and home. Depending on the time of day it can be difficult to find parking out front, which makes it difficult for parents with an infant carrier and a toddler like myself to park down the street and carry everything to the door. Atmosophere: Nothing to write home about but it has tables and chairs to sit in facing the kids play area that has more than enough to keep your littles busy. There is only one bathroom which makes it difficult for potty training toddlers, but it is not usually very busy in there unless there is a special event. Food: coffee is great! Definitely a treat for parents. And pastries and donuts from places like la belle baguette and oh doughnuts. Smoothies are also available for parents or kids and there are meals from beet happenings for purchase. *recommend: Cappuccino and pop tart! Overall review: I enjoy stopping in for a caffeine kick and a snack during a busy day. My toddler enjoys the play area and the treats. The atmosphere is simple and intimate but enjoyable. A great place to go to if you need to get out of the house, or to plan play dates. I only wish the hours extended to evenings for parents with full time jobs and there was more available parking closer to the entrance. read more

Discovered this amazing place at a birthday party for my 3yr olds friend .. has a place for small kids to play, books small kids.play house. The large Lego blocks for little kids. So worth it.
