This shop means a lot to me and has created great memories for me growing up and even today as an adult. Bringing my kids here is kinda surreal because it feels like I've gone full circle haha anyways. The owners are awesome people and have always treated me with great respect and helped me with anything I was looking for and they rarely don't have MTG singles I'm looking for, ide say they generally have what I'm looking for 85% of the time. And if they don't have it they are always willing to order cards in for me! Their prices are very fair and I love coming here for events I always feel welcomed and never excluded from anything. I also love that they always make sure the kids are included and treat my daughters kindly even sometimes giving gifts like little penny cost Pokemon cards which might not seem like a lot but it's so big to them and that's those kind of things that leave good memories in little children's heads. Thank you Heroes and Horrors for bringing such fun into my life and may it continue to bring joy to my children :)

I go here regularly when I need to get some work done, grab a coffee and a snack. However.... The coffee/food counter staff are a little rude. I was corrected in a condescending way when I was confused about what coffee drink I ordered. Also, they have nothing healthy to eat. Everything has fat and carbs. No veggies on the menu. I ordered what I thought would be somewhat healthy -- a veggie burrito -- but all it contained was white potatoes. See photo. The description said it had sweet potatoes (more healthy) and vegetables. But it did not. I didn't dare say anything for fear of being talked down to by the staff. I'll just eat before I go there.

I wandered the game isles, mini selections, and RPG stuff. Though there were folks behind the counter neither of them seemed aware of me. I finally wandered over to the food/gaming table side of the place. Apparently you 'rent' space to play games here. There was only 1 table being used at the time I was in. The person making the food and I chatted a bit but that was about all the interaction I had in the place. I understand businesses need to make money to survive but charging for space when there are open tables doesn't make sense to me. And since I got zero attention while wondering the gaming isles twice I might as well mail order my games. I don't know what evenings look like there but Saturday afternoons seem very slow.

I came in the other day mostly to just wander around. This store was laid out well/easy to navigate and relatively clean. The staff I encountered were all friendly. Prices are more than fair in my opinion for all of the stuff they have. If something isn't on sale one week, it usually is within the next two! Will definitely be back in when it gets a little closer to the holidays for my decor needs.

I'm not sure what covid has to do with closing early (you decided to open!) and with not updating hours for customers (all the other sewing related stores I've since looked up had updated their hours), or being rude to customers.
