Popped in for a visit recently to drop off some mail as this shop is a large pick up location for all of the major providers, usps, ups, fedex, dhl and probably a few more I'm not familiar with. Not only do they offer all kinds of shipping services they also print pretty much anything and everything from business cards to open house signs, legal documents to wedding invitations, it looks like big or small they print it all. If you are a crafter or scrapper this shop is a must stop for any and all supplies, along with an extensive selection of arts and crafts tools and materials. There is also a large classroom here where you can sign up for a variety of "arts" related classes. Back at the beginning of the year I got a text one evening from a relative asking if my uncle was with me. He hadn't returned home the night before and no one could find him. As the hours ticked by it became clear he was "missing" and various extended family members organized to look for him. I took on the tasks of social media and flyer printing. I came up with a flyer with a full color photo of him and his car at like 10pm. Then I hemmed and hawed - my home printer wasn't up to the task. Staples opened a little earlier and was closer to my house, but I was worried they'd have inflexible corporate policies, and I knew Scrapper's Edge did quality work and had real, knowledgeable, problem-solving people on the other end of the line. I submitted my flyer order through Scrapper's Edge's online ordering site at 11pm-ish and added a note that it was a missing persons flyer and I would pay extra for them to print it first thing in the morning. The next morning I called ten minutes after they opened and the very nice man who answered assured me that they were already working on it and would send me a text message when it was ready for pickup - no extra charge for the rush job. I often purchase digital files from Etsy for different uses or events. When it comes time to print them, I always go with Scrapper's Edge. Whether I'm going for something matte or glossy, they always have the best paper and ink quality, and the colors are incredibly vibrant. I used their email address from the web site to inquire about pricing and send in my digital file. Someone responded to me very quickly and my print was done in a couple of hours. I feel like they charge a very good price too for the quality that you receive. My most recent print was a calendar template. I put it in an old picture frame so that I could use it as a dry erase calendar. There was a super sweet gentleman who helped me when I arrived to pick up my print. He also helped me find dry erase markers in the store, however, I had to purchase those at a later time online, because they only carried chisel tip and I was looking for a fine point marker. The selection is great, prices are great but there is such a thing as OVER HELPING!. I live out of the area and only come in now and then. There is much to see and choose from and typically requires wandering around for a bit of time. I think it's great to be greeted upon arrival but once I answer "Can I help you?" with "Thank you, no, I'm looking and and shopping." that should be it. I was asked if I needed help four times in less than 20 minutes. To me, this says one of two things: 1-We don't understand "No, Thank you" and are going to keep asking until you change your mind. 2-We are following you around and bugging you to make sure you're not stealing from us. Either way, it's extraordinarily annoying and rude. I noticed during my visit that they seemed to know most people that walked through the doors which led me to think that I was being cased and they weren't going to be shy about letting me know it. This is not the first time I've experienced it here but it is the last time. I've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on stamps, paper and all things to do with the craft and today was the last time this place will reap the benefits of my craft spending. There is nothing here worth putting up with blatant disregard for someone's space or the blatant suspicion. I have a strong preference towards spending in locally owned stores because it feeds community and local economy but this one is getting scratched off my list once and for all. Too bad. read more

today I went to Scrappers edge to get something notarized so my wife can get her passport so we can go on vacation later this year. It occurred to me later in the day that Scrappers Edge helped us design our wedding invitations and printed them, assisted with my mothers memorial and photo's. They also assisted with my cousin/best friend's memorial and photos and notarized 3 different home loan applications over the years. The printing quality is good, it's just a shame that they don't care enough about their customers to give fair prices. I went in to scan a single piece of paper so that I could email it to a client and I was charged more than the cost of printing the page. I don't understand why a job that takes no more resources than a single minute of an employees time cost me an hours worth of my paycheck, but it's completely ridiculous. In the future, I'll definitely be taking my business to somewhere that doesn't want to rip me off. read more
