I think back to my wedding over 5 years ago and I STILL wish we had gone for a different photographer Olga was so chummy, made you think you were her girlfriend But don't make a small mistake The day of our wedding I accidentally texted her the wrong room number When she got to our room it was a nightmare from then on, as she clearly blamed me for having her go to the wrong room and lose approximately 10 min of the day. My maid of honor even pulled her aside in the bridal suite to ask her to please change her attitude bc she was upsetting the bride. While my photos are nice, they are nothing near to what she had promised me, which was photos all around our venue, different backdrops etc It was all pretty uniformed and VERY RUSHED as other have said, and you felt like cattle for sure. She also somehow got no shots of me looking straight ahead during my walk down the aisle - other people did but I swear to the heavens above she punished me for the small mistake of typing the wrong room number in a text on a very crazy morning of my life. Scribbled Moments We found Scribbled Moments on the Knot and immediately fell in love with Olga's work. Luckily, we inquired far enough in advanced to book her for our wedding day. Her schedule fills up rather quickly and not surprisingly so if you see her work. In our first meet and greet, we knew right away she was exactly whom we wanted. Olga is on her A-game and knows her profession inside and out. She was one of the first vendors we booked and one of the most professional, organized, and responsive. As an example, she had a wedding day time line even before our coordinator! She even offered suggestions for vendors which is how we booked our videographer. We opted for a 10 hour package for the wedding which included a complimentary engagement session. For the engagement photos, Olga had us in and out of our session in one hour. She offered lots of great suggestions for poses and places to take pictures. By that evening, she had already put together our sneak peak. We could not believe how beautiful everything came out and how prompt she was. On the day of, Olga and her assistant arrived on time and got to work. Even though there were a ton of vendors and people everywhere, they worked like ninjas. I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. Fast forward 3.5 weeks later, our pictures already came in ahead of schedule. Everything was absolutely stunning. Wow is all I can say about Scribbled Moments! A photographer is probably one of the most (if not THE most) important vendors that you hire, so I did not take my decision lightly when I went with them and I am glad I did! They truly exceeded all of my expectations in every way, from the moment they arrived they were so friendly and calming and so easy to work with, and I nearly passed out when I got the photos back they were out of this world beautiful! Not to mention they turned it around 3 weeks early that is UNHEARD OF!! I must say I am very disgusted with whoever I spoke with on the phone today. Couldn't even get a word in cause the person was talking over me. No wonder your prices are so cheap because with customer service like that no one would pay more. I would never hire a company like this to photograph my wedding. Olga is such an amazing photographer! She captured my wedding day and I was so happy with how the pictures came out, I had her do my baby's newborn photos as well and oh my goodness are they cute! She was so amazing with my baby during the photos and was so patient and kind. She has adorable props and swaddles and headbands and such for the babies and makes all of the pictures look adorable! I am so happy with how the pictures turned out, I cannot wait to have Olga do more pictures for me in the future! read more

I hope it's not your special day when Olga does not deliver. My wife and I decided to get married privately and hire a photographer for a portrait session on our wedding day. Olga came highly recommended. I sent her a message through her website. Olga promised that she could meet our request of holding the photo shoot right before sunset, on our wedding day. She promised to be there and deliver great photos. I signed her contract and prepaid. I waited for Olga in the lobby of our building to so that she could capture me seeing my wife for the first time in her wedding dress, with her hair and makeup professionally done, prior to going outside to take sunset pictures. When Olga was late and it was getting closer to sunset, and she hadn't called, I called her. She started rambling that she had multiple cameras and lenses, but no batteries since her assistant didn't pack them, and therefore, couldn't make the photoshoot at the contracted time. When I conferenced in my wife, she repeated the whole story, taking no responsibility. I called Olga back and told her not to bother to come, the sun was already starting to set. While Olga offered to compensate us for the expense of professional hair and makeup, we wound up with no professional pictures on our wedding day and had to hire a new photographer to re-create our special day. Not only did she not personally prepare for the shoot, she would not take responsibility. Compensation does not make up for the damage done. read more

My husband and I used SMP for our elopement photography and we were very satisfied. Olga is phenomenal. When I initially messaged her I thought I'd have to wait a long time to hear back from her much less schedule a meeting WRONG!! She emailed me back within the hour and scheduled to meet with me that afternoon in a Starbucks near by. She brought her work with her and was very detailed in asking me what I wanted and what she had to offer. Needless to say we booked her! When we met up for our shoot i was nervous - like what will i do how will i pose. Guess what she helped with all of that. Very very friendly while remaining professional, I felt like I've known her forever. Anyone I know who needs a photographer SMP is my recommendation. I hired this vendor based on the fact that the KNOT so highly recommended her. I am very torn on how I feel here because I feel like she is the type of vendor who will just tell you what you want to hear, in the moment, and then completely deny she ever said it. Her team arrived to my house and started to take pics of my items.. the photo of my dress is ATROCIOUS. you literally cannot see it.. the pictures of me are from the MOST unflattering angle possible and my head looks ginormous. Also, some photos of me and my bridesmaids in our robes, my MOH is not even looking OR she isn't smiling, yet Olga (the photographer) never asked us to retake the picture. She was also taking photos of my invite, which I told her, nah don't worry about it (our wedding was rescheduled due to hurricane Irma) because the date was wrong, and her response was "No worries, I can fix that in photo shop" I ran a little late so we were not able to do our "formals" before my ceremony started, so during the reception we kind of rushed through and got as many shots as possible.. I can understand if she rushed through photos of friends and not everyones looking, etc.. but photos I have ONE of, with my family.. my dad, my mom.. she could have atleast checked that they were looking..... I didn't pay much attention to how she took photos during my ceremony/reception as I just trusted she was as good as the Knot claimed, and as good as she costs.. Olga never once asked me to fix a pose, she never once fixed my dress.. etc. At the end of the nights, I did the sparkler exit, a lot of my guests were complaining their sparkler had gone out, she told them all a story about how once they couldn't find lighters and she just instructed everyone to hold out the stick and she photo shopped it all in.. so we weren't worried.. When I received my photos from Olga- I cried for about 2 days. my ceremony photos were horrible.. all from low unflattering angles.. I look horrible in most.. lots of photos of peoples backs.. she sent me the 500 photos we paid for, although 350 of them were DELETED because who needs pictures of peoples backs. She also used the same lighting during the ceremony and my reception.. so in my ceremony everyone looks pale, and my reception is not too bad. In our initial conversation I also mentioned to her that I am self conscious about my arms (I recently lost a lot of weight) she assured me she always looks out for that, yet all my reception pics have a big ol flabby arm. When I wrote Olga an email with all of my concerns, she replied that they are not a photo shop company (even though SHE was the one who constantly brought it up , that she would photo shop here and there), and that they wouldn't Photoshop body part.. umm.. never asked for that.. just asked her to not take photos of my arms in unflattering angles. If you are anything less than a perfect model, please don't use her.. she will not have your best angle/look at heart.. she is there to be IN AND OUT.. she did not take her time on ANYTHING.. even the photos I asked her to specifically get, like me and my sick grandmother, and my niece and nephew.. she did ONE snap.. and moved on.. and guess what.. those photos are HORRIBLE. read more

I also did an engagement session which came out stunning... but my wedding photos are completely priceless. I cried tears of joy when I saw them. Sooo Disappointed!!! Olga you were wonderful on initial meeting passionate and positive, what we received was anything but for my daughters wedding. Washed out family formal pictures with some of family with eyes closed, manhandling a $4000.00 wedding dress that took 2 hours to steam the night before. When we asked you to be gentle with the dress you argued with the bridesmaid. Reception missing group table picks, none of sweet heart table with bride and groom, and most of reception picks everyone has their back to the camera. Final straw... almost $3K and we can only download pictures 1 TIME... not per email request!!! Please tell me Olga, why anyone that would like these pictures (as average as they were) are unable to download the limited that were acceptable ??? Word advice... this is a once in a lifetime memory if your heart is not in it, to give the couple a lifetime of memories, please have someone else do it. read more

There aren't even words to describe how amazing Olga is! Searching for the perfect photographer for your special day is one of the most important parts when planning your wedding. I remember searching for a long time for the right photographer and I stumbled upon Scribbled Moments Photography's website. I specifically read her FAQ section - it explains it all!!! I had to meet her right away after seeing her work on her website and was even more ecstatic when my husband and I finally met her in person. She's so honest and straight forward and doesn't sugar coat anything which we appreciated. She is someone I knew we could trust when it came to our photos. You can tell she loves what she does and is so passionate about it all. I had the BEST time getting ready on my wedding day because not only did I have my bridal group but I had Olga and her team by my side. They truly felt like family around us and it made everything so comfortable and fun. She's extremely organized and efficient - I didn't have to worry about anything. If I could take back the choice in picking Olga as my photographer, I would do it. Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am with this experience. I was blown away by our first meeting (she was passionate, excited, and her portfolios were gorgeous, and she even said she would uses cue cards to garner sincere emotions!) What I received was anything but. Not only are my formals completely unusable, she was unprofessional and did not provide what was promised (and you guessed it, no cue cards). We paid over $3,000 for photos that are so whitewashed they make us look flat, pale, and borderline nose-less, and the photos I would have valued most: people are blinking or looking away. I honestly should have known when I called her on the number provided at the top of my contract (which I had a question about) and Olga answered by saying, "this is my personal phone number," implying that I was intruding. To start the big day: Olga picked up my dress, balled it up (it was raw silk), for photos. When my bridesmaid asked her not to carry it out crumpled up because we spent hours steaming it, Olga proceeded to argue with her and then shoved it at her and said "here, I don't want to be liable for it." I truly felt like cattle being herded through that day. My uncle was, as a surprise to all my guests, our officiant. I specifically asked for guest reaction photos. There were two. There was not one photo of our sweetheart table with the flowers on it. Not one photo of my and my new husbands' reactions to the speeches. Not one picture of my hair, which took hours to do (or any makeup prep - I at least thought we might fake it, even though it was completed already). Not one picture of my guests sitting at the tables while others were dancing (but hey, I've got about 200 photos of the backs of peoples heads or backs.) One of the biggest moments of the night was our first dance, where my husband lifted me. Not one photo. I was told that a fisheye lens would be used periodically to get a big photo of the room. Sounded good to me... Until every single photo of the reception was in this lens where, unless you stood directly in the center, it was completely warped. I guess Olga was too busy dancing during the reception to switch out the lens. When I e-mailed the team the next day asking for some fix to the formals, their response was a reshoot. I cannot re-do my wedding day. My family photos are ruined because she didn't understand how to compensate for the windows behind us. Photos taken on friends phones were better, and to think this was what I was most excited for once the wedding was completed. And don't forget, while she promises that everyone gets access to the online photos, you only get ONE download of all the photos. Not one per person... one download. So if you want anyone else to get digital photos, they can look at them on the website, but they can't actually have a copy unless you forward them. read more
