I walked in after calling multiple times over the week and no one answered. I came here because Tesla promotes them and I wanted tint that won't void my car's warranty. I inquired about tinting and mentioned casually that I came in because their online price is better than Tesla's price. The guy was shocked and said no that their price is the same as Tesla's. I showed him the online price (on my phone) and he also proceeded to show me the price on his monitor. He said both are outdated and "the guys" haven't updated it yet and that the price online should be $200 more. I mentioned they would have to honor the advertised price online and he said they don't. I told him I would file a complaint with BBB because that's not good business practices. This business doesn't care about losing customers with false advertising. Edit: By the time I got home, they already updated the online pricing, and the front windshield tint cost for Model Y now is $299 instead of the $199 shown in my screenshots. Edit #2: The owner responded today and said their pricing policy was explained to me in detail, which it was not, and also said that service was offered at the current price, which it was not either. When I walked in yesterday, I asked specifically if their pricing online was accurate and the person at the desk told me "yes". Then I pointed out that it was great because I had noticed their pricing online was lower than Tesla's price. The person at the counter then argued with me (in a not-friendly manner), that pricing was the same as Tesla's and that I was wrong. He kept repeating that I was wrong and to show him the pricing and screenshots. I proceeded to show him the price online on my phone and told them the price Tesla offered for tinting when I purchased my car. It was then that the person at the counter said their advertised price was outdated. Nothing about the interaction yesterday was professional. And per California law (SB 478) business are required to honor the lowest advertised price, especially if it was a previous price that was not updated. A simple Google search before responding to my review would have informed the owner that. And the owner's response today doesn't portray the interaction as it happened, offers no resolution and lacks knowledge of his legal requirement to honor the lowest advertised price. read more

Quite upset that was I told to come in as an appointment today was told it would take about 2.5 to 3 hrs to tint my 2 front driver and passenger seats windows on the phone. When I got to the place the door was locked and was told that they moved 3 mi away in Upland. When I get there the man told me they can fit me in but it would take 7 hrs to complete. I left very upset. Would not recommend this place. Not professional front office people Scheduling is terribly disorganized. As I left the guy there said "It's all good. ". Are you kidding. It not good. I scheduled time off my work to get this done. No apologies. Nothing. How is the quality of their work? I stopped by back in April to have my original tint removed and new tint applied. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday but they were kind enough to squeeze me in. When the service was completed I was unhappy. There was a hair in the middle of the rear windshield and several bubbles around the edges. To be fair they do let you know before they begin that they cannot guarantee how it will cure due to the previous materials used and the matrix (the little dots at the top of the windshield). I returned about a week or so later and they did not do the corrective service because I wanted to wait (drop off service only). So they sent me on my way and asked me to come back on a Saturday. I returned that same weekend and dropped off my car. When I picked it up I was pleased with how it came out...when I got inside my car I noticed some areas that did not cure well. It has been about a month now and these 3 areas did not cure. I am disappointed that the first time the matrix cured beautifully but had to be redone because they got a hair in it. Now every time I drive I see the 3 spots that didn't cure and it drives me nuts. On the bright side they are not visible from the outside. Only the inside. I won't return or bother them with this issue because 3 visits is more than enough. I wouldn't recommend their services to others because of all the hassle I experienced. My car does look nice though with the new tint. So thank you for taking the time to redo it. read more

They are nice and friendly and pay a lot of attention to get you in, but if there's any type of correction that needs to be done, they completely push you aside. With a hair on one window and scratches in the other, they had a list of excuses, and nobody wanted to take the time to make the corrections; I had to take my business elsewhere. read more

These guys are amazing! I took my 2021 Tesla for the clear bra, ceramic coating and window tint the DAY AFTER pickup from Tesla. These guys were so professional and trustworthy! So, before they accepted my business, they inspected my car... low and behold they found several issues with my paint, scratches on my passenger window and damage to a headlight! I was livid that Tesla literally gave me my new car in such terrible condition!!! Instead of taking my money and doing the job, they told me to check with Tesla to try and get everything repaired before they did the bra/ceramic coat. I immediately emailed Tesla and will be getting everything fixed with their service department before I can get back to Sol Cal Tint to get my car finished.
