I've tried other megaformer studios in Atlanta but the instructors at SculptHouse Bucked are the best! They're friendly and kind - which is critical when you're new and intimidated, and they are always helpful with modifications if you need. I love the variety of the workouts - it's nice that they offer a cardio component in some classes, which is different from other megaformer studios. As for studio itself, clean and nicely decorated. Not for Everyone... After hearing about this new spot, I decided to join a friend of mine for a class. I went to my Mindbody after investigating the one review I found on this place. In the process of signing up I immediately became annoyed by finding my first class wasn't complimentary. Yes...its at a discounted rate of $15 versus the $32 drop in rate (which is still $1 less than the new BLAST drop in rate), but I think we can all agree that is ridiculous. Fast forward to the day of my class. This place was hard to find. Mostly because it isn't truly on Peachtree Road and there was no signage. (I guess they are using the $32 a pop for other embellishments.) I checked as a first timer at the front and was shown where to put my things. While talking to my friend, I noted other guests were being given a demo. I was again annoyed because the instructor didn't come over to introduce herself or grab me to show me the demo as well. By the time things started I was ready to burn off some major calories. We started with our shoes off on the mega former. This is a great machine however if you are unfamiliar with it you really spend quite a bit of time doing things incorrectly or nearly miss the bulk of the exercise. The instructor was making rounds but I feel this machine is best for one on one instruction. Phase two was work on the Woodway treadmill (a self motorized tread)....normally I'd be excited but there was nothing about 25 minutes on this thing that made me want to work hard. The workout dragged the whole second half. Overall, I was very unimpressed. You can find a Woodway at many gyms. If you are searching for excellent work on a reformer, Stellar Bodies or even a personal instructor would probably Be better at that price point. There is nothing about this place that screams luxury. It really looks like it was poorly constructed, minus the little boutique store in the lobby. I'm not even sure if they have showers....no one showed me where the bathroom was! If you like high energy, good music and variety...this place is not for you. (It doesn't seem ethnically friendly). If you like techno, country, conservative pop along with advanced Pilates and running. This is for you! I give two stars because each piece of equipment meant for the workout will truly sculpt you. It's just a question of if this is something you would enjoy or feel is worth the prices. They have a special of $75 for a 3 pack for first timers. I obviously won't be purchasing it or returning to this facility but if it suits you, go get you some. Update: Over a year later, I have to update this. The music is now much better. The assistance between exercises has vastly improved. I went on Thanksgiving and got SO much more out of this class. They also have vastly improved the ambiance of the studio. There is good lighting, things are clean and it's not quite in the middle of construction anymore. They offer select classes on Class Pass (for those like me who like to gym hop). Their store offers a better selection than Exhale that is trendy and different enough from Lululemon to be unique. So glad I gave this place another try. I've bumped them up from 2 stars to 4! i drove 40 minutes away to get to have no parking options available and when I finally get inside to tell me I couldn't take the class because I didn't arrive 10 min earlier. This place is not easy to find at all! I have been trying to be an early morning workout person for a VERY long time. Once I found sculpt, I became one. The energy that each of the instructors I've had the pleasure of working out with are amazing! The music, the motivation, down to checking form (which is v important!!) is all wonderful. Ok I retracted my bad review of them. The first time I went there I was not allowed to take class because I was not 15 mins early. Can't remember the time they make you come if it's your first class. But the second time I came early and actually got to do class. It was unbelievably challenging and made me feel like my fitness level was shit. It was one of the best workouts in Atlanta and there is a lot to choose from. I originally reviewed them a one star bc I was mad they didn't let me take class the first time. But really it was my fault and I'm sorry. I don't want yelp to be a place where people review poorly based on the customers mistake. Found this class through ClassPass and it's so much fun! A mixture of using a Megaformer which is a Pilates type machine and a fancy weird treadmill! I liked this class because it pushed you but also didn't make you feel really bad about yourself if you can't keep running as fast as humanly possible or hold a pose. Will definitely be back. Parking is limited but there's more in the back of the lot so it hasn't been a problem yet. They require sticky socks that they sell for ~$16 so if you have some, bring them. read more

Visited on the 1st time class for $15. The studio is only a couple blocks from my house so I just walked. The studio is neat and clean. The instructor was Jennifer. She gave me a rundown of the reformer machine prior to the class. I was the only newbie, which was great so I could look to my left or right to make sure I was keeping up. The class so instense, but I loved every minute of it. You work out every single muscle group. Core, triceps, biceps, quads, glutes. I was sweating as if I was in HIIT class. Jennifer walked around and made sure our form was proper and kept us motivated the whole while through. I had just worked out legs in the gym the day before, so after this class, I know I will be feeling it all over my body tomorrow. This is definitely a place you should try out if looking to elevate your strength, flexibility, and core. I made it through the 50 minutes! read more

A friend of mine teaches at SculptHouse and said I should give them a try. After the first class, I was hooked! I was hesitant because I'm very out of shape. It's such a challenging workout but so rewarding to your body! Great, encouraging environment. I'm giving them a 4 star because of their limited schedule with the StrengthSculpt classes (50 minutes Strength). They are mainly focused on the cardio classes (25 minutes cardio, 25 minutes strength). If they offered more StrengthSculpt classes, I would purchase an unlimited membership in a heartbeat. They just updated their schedule last week so I don't see more classes being added. Defiantly give it a try!! read more

How to find SculptHouse.... the entrance is right next to a restaurant's entrance. From the parking lot, take the stairs down to the sidewalk and take a left. You'll see what I'm talking about. Parking - A medium sized lot. I'm sure during rush time for the restaurant next to SH may cause it to be a little tough to find a spot, so go work out at off times. Inside - Kind of split into a work out space and a shopping area. You can check into the class via iPad in front of work out room or near the register with an actual person. I've had Stephanie each time I've been here. She's pretty energetic and polite. I enjoyed class here since I consider it my chill work out today... well sort of chill. I'm pretty sore the next day. I do like that they use the special kind of treadmill w/ no automatic pace. (I forgot the actual name). You will be looking at a TV screen to see how fast you go. I think we're on this for 20 mins? There's Levels 1 to 4 speed wise. Each level you'll be on can range from 15 seconds to 1 min. 2nd Station - the Megaformer (?) is the machine you'll use. Point of this machine... move slowly. The instructor will be much more hands on with you on this since she will tell you which moves to do. I like this machine... makes me feel like I'm doing some work on my body. And.... probably because I'm sore the next day. Oh - no need for socks/shoes on this station. You'll be on here maybe 20 mins? read more

Great fitness studio with the perfect mix of cardio and strength training. As other reviewers have commented, this place can be hard to find. It's located near the old JBT space, closer to East Paces Ferry/Grandview than Peachtree. I parked near the Kohler store then headed to the right, down the stairs and found the entrance to SculptHouse underneath. Parking is ample, and you can park on the street on Grandview for morning classes. Upon entering the studio, you check into class via an iPad that is simple to use. For your first visit you will need to fill out a waiver, so be sure to get there ten to fifteen minutes early. The class is split into twentyish minutes on the treadmill, a transition period and twentyish minutes on the Megaformer, a pilates machine that looks like a torture device. The treadmill is one of the curved, newer varieties that put less pressure on your knees and force you to use your own weight to power the treadmill. As previous reviewers mentioned, you'll be following the TV screens in front of you that go from level 1 (walking easily) to level 4 (sprinting your face off) in intervals from 15 seconds to a minute. It's pretty easy to follow. For the Megaformer, you'll be following the instructor's commands, and moving through a variety of exercises. You will wear grip socks or be barefoot on this machine (I prefer barefoot). On the Megaformer, you'll move slowly and with precise control, and despite the slow pace, you'll be sore the next day! I took the 360 class for my first time at SculptHouse, and we worked every muscle group, from abs to calves. There's also classes that focus on the lower or upper part of the body, something to keep in mind for when you book your class here. I had Bridget for my first class at SculptHouse, and she took five minutes to explain the format of workout and some of the Megaformer moves we would be doing prior to the start of class. Despite how intimidating the Megaformer can seem, Bridget explained each exercise thoroughly and in a simple manner, and offered gentle corrections throughout class. Though I took my class here through ClassPass, I purchased a three pack (3 classes for $75), as I want to continue to attend often. I highly recommend SculptHouse if you're looking to up your workout game. Also check out the amazing boutique with lots of fitness items available. Also, I took items to checkout and they told me they couldn't accept stored value Visa card. Had to put it back. Big waste of time. Also a bit hard to find. This week I had my first experience at the SculptHouse. It was awesome! First, the lady at the front desk was nice and welcoming. Then, my instructor was amazing. I hadn't done a megaformer in LONG time and I only did one class before, so I was definitely a little nervous. But, I got there on time enough for her to explain things to me. Breanne was my instructor. She was super fit, beautiful, clear in her instructions, upbeat, and corrected ppl on form and explained where they should feel the movements. They also write notes for first timers which I think really enhanced the customer experience. I did Barry's in the same week and this class was SOOOO much better and the customer experience as well. Be cautious working out here during a pandemic!! Yes the classes are great! However, I found out I was a close contact for covid and called to cancel my class out of an abundance of caution. THEY ARE STILL CHARGING A LATE FEE. I said so you still want me to come even if I might have covid? And the lady on the phone said yeah it's up to you if you want to come or be charged! Sculpthouse Buckhead is a joke of a studio. They will turn you away for the smallest of things. I tried to attend class twice, and both times they would not allow me to take class. It's like they don't want your money. Apparently there was no note in my account from the previous time that I was showed how to use the machine. I LOVE this place! It is exactly what I have been looking for in a workout. Half cardio, half strength, 100% challenging and works every muscle group. I've only done CardioSculpt 360 because I enjoy the cardio portion, and I'm addicted. The instruction is always expert instruction and is clear and concise - I am always able to figure out the stances on the mega former and appreciate the individual attention the instructions are able to give despite teaching the whole class. This is really one of the best studios in town. Killer workout and instructors are so motivating. They don't let you slack! For the size of the class, they give great instruction on the reformers too. I wear a heart rate monitor and i burn more in this class than I do any other in other. Definitely check it out! The one thing negative I will say is the girls at the front desk are usually super snotty. The instructors are amazing though and that is really all that matters. read more

I have been obsessed with SculptHouse over the last few months. Every time I go, I start to see and feel results almost immediately! Brianna is one of the best instructors and truly knows human anatomy, which helps make sure no one in the class gets hurt from bad form. I tend to stick with the StrengthSculpt class which is 50 minutes on the MegaFormer but the 360 class is also a great option (30 minutes on the MegaFormer and 30 minutes on the self powered treadmill). All around wonderful experience and will be back to take class or shop all their adorable athleisure wear. read more

I've loved every class I've taken at Sculpthouse over the past 2+ years. I started going here through ClassPass but then realized I needed more! I've had a rolling pack for a few months and love it. Perfect blend of cardio and sculpting through the lagree method on the megaformers. If you've never done this, don't be scared, the instructors are amazing and will set you up for success. The owner and the boutique manager went above and beyond my expectations of customer service. The sneakers I was looking for are extremely hard to find, they not only kept me in the loop about when a new shipment was coming in, but called me on my cell phone and allowed me to come in the day they received their shipment and I was able to get the perfect pair of sneakers, exactly what my girlfriend wanted, just in time for her birthday. With that said, I came to this page because SculptHouse is truly a one of a kind studio that deserves an accurate description and 5 star review. While I respect the opinion of others, I have to say that I wholeheartedly disagree with Lori M.'s review on many counts. I do agree that this workout is certainly not cut out for everyone. If you aren't serious about getting in shape, don't care about feeling your best, and don't want to be pushed from start to finish, this place is not for you. For those who walk away after one class, haven't perfected the technique in 50 minutes, and can't find the bathroom, it is not for you. It is for people who value themselves enough to give it their all, want to see results, and are committed to a healthy lifestyle. Based on your previous reviews, that is not what you are looking for. Everyone has a first class. I did. It was hard to do each move on the Megaformer perfectly; however, no one perfects their first class, no matter where they go. After my first class, I made the decision to come back, challenge myself, work harder, and get better. I now take advantage of the Unlimited Membership and have honestly never looked or felt better. I have always maintained a steady workout routine, whether that's gym memberships or using ClassPass to try other studios. I will never put a price tag on my fitness, a healthy lifestyle or my overall quality of life. I have found all of those plus so much more at SculptHouse. If I could give a 0 i would. I am a new member but have a BIG complaint about Sculpthouse in Buckhead. There was no description on my reservation saying if someone to were not be exactly 15 minutes early they would not be allowed in, and rescheduled at that. I drove with my friend there, who has not attended a class before, a first-timer. When we got there, I was only 10 minutes early instead of 15 minutes , so she was asked to reschedule. I was allowed to take the class but she wasn't. Minded, the studio is EXTREMELY hard to find. You have to walk through a big parking lot (with limited spaces to begin with) and through a RESTAURANT PATIO and hostess booth to get there. There are no instructions listed to get to this studio which obviously affected our arival time. Not only had we traveled far to get to this class, but I had driven my friend who had signed up for the first time, who I REFERRERD!!!! Literally brought in more business. I (being a good friend) said Im not taking this class myself after learning this, a nd leaving my friend alone for 50 minutes waiting for me to finish was not an option. I understand the "safety" policy of explaining the equipment. Though, actually, I don't - since my "training" my first class lasted no more than 5 minutes by my indtructor. Anyways, the staff told me it would be $25 (!!!) for me to cancel my reservation. A class that I did not even take, $25, wtf. The staff was not empathetic nor accommodating. Mind you, the specifications on ClassPass did not say you would ever be turned away if you weren't there 15 minutes early....It was an overall bad and uncomfortable situation. RUDE AND SNOTTY!! Do not try this place. I signed up to take a class via ClassPass. Fought 30 minutes of traffic to get to the class. Got there. No showers. Then was told I had to buy there $17 socks. Really at this point did not want to deal with them. I ended up leaving. The "manager" Catherine called and left a message on my voice mail telling me that I was not supposed to leave and that they have a policy on pregnant women. I AM NOT PREGNANT!?!? So they insult me, want to charge me $17 for socks AND THEN I GET CHARGED FOR MISSING THE CLASS ON CLASSPASS. I called Catherine back and she was a total snob and rude. read more

We purchased a pair of shoes from the Buckhead location. After wearing them only once they ripped. We contact the manger and request that we like to exchange them for a new pair. This was in December and it is February we still have a problem and no new shoes. customer service and follow up. Was slow.
